No, subdomains are separate sites. They should all be verified independently in WMT and then in the disavow page you'll see options for all the sites in a dropdown list and submit a disavow for each.

It's just a matter of time until they get penalized. I see same phone number, same content, i'm sure same server.

RE: URL Stucture: Folders or hyphens?
The most important thing to remember is that keywords in folders do not help push rank, keywords in filenames do.
So if you want a folder named /utc/ because it makes the site structure more logical than do it, but understand that it's not helping rank for "utc"
Therefore, in my opinion this is best
www.eteach.com/talent-pools-at-utc
this is acceptable
www.eteach.com/utc//talent-pools-at-utc
this doesn't target "utc" for SEO
www.eteach.com/utc/talent-pools
and hyphens are better than one word or underscores

RE: How does Title keyword order, number and puctuation factor into rankings?
"Pink girls room decor" does not cover you for "pink room decor" because the words need to be all together and not separated by another keyword.
"Pink girls room decor" covers you for "Pink girls room" and "girls room decor"
Yes additional alternative keyword phrases will help not hurt as long as you don't keyword stuff, "bedroom" and "room" are different keywords so think of alternative words that are also searched
Punctuation is ignored but still should be used for proper grammar
Don't forget that all title tags should be unique across the site! good luck!

RE: Google Products / Google Shopping
I am not keen on using the canonical tag as an upfront solution. I would say to take the time out to highlight the slightly different features of each product and put each of them on a different page. If you find that difficult to do, then you can noindex the pages you that are duplicates and nofollow all internal links to these pages. Finally, I would highlight the difference of each product in the title of the product or Google Shopping will have a very hard differentiating these products.

RE: Will PPC elsewhere on my domain help my organic SEO?
You can still put it on the main domain and have it noindex, followed and orphaned. It can link back to the main nav but not be linked to from the main site. That would be completely safe and the fact that it is on the domain and not some other unrecognizable domain would help with credibility and would be one less variable which could be a culprit for causing a lower conversion rate.

RE: Negative Youtube Review - Reputation Management
"The uploader of the video was contacted, but has forgotten the username/password on the account."
that sounds like he is willing to take it down but doesn't know how to? if that is the case i would work with him to get access to that account and delete it. Even if you have to offer to pay him a few bucks via paypal it's worth it if it's ranking well and getting hits - and it must be if it is ranking #2 for your company name that' huge. Get it removed it's costing you business.

RE: Keyword with or without stress?
They are looked at as different keywords. If you are targeting in Google US then don't use the stress for primary keywords. If geo targeting for google.com.br then use the stress in your primary keyword.
Have the alternate keyword still appear on the site as a secondary keyword as well.

RE: Two Industry giant has occupied the Google SE First Page.
I believe this is a result of a cross breed between the Penguin and Panda updates. The Panda updates gave a lift to all authority sites and the Penguin update penalized all sites that were involved in shady SEO. The end result is a few trusted authority sites who are worthy of occupying the first few pages of search results. You can try posting on the Google Webmaster forum and see if you can illicit a response from someone at Google. I should note that Matt Cutts kept saying for years, that host crowding in the SERPS was terrible but just recently backtracked and said that it can be good for users at times. More importantly, try to figure out in which area you can become an authority and clean up all your back links.

RE: Accidently blocked our site for an evening?
No you're ok. It used to be that if your site went down for even a few hours and the spiders came around that you could get deindexed. Now I guess they understand that stuff happens and you have a pretty long grace period before you get deindexed thankfully.
Good suggestions by Nick, also you can increase the googlebot crawl rate on your site in GWMT to get Google to come around again quicker.

RE: Serving Images from a Different Domain - SEO Impact
Many sites do this , it's called a CDN (content delivery network) and my site does it with both images and video hosting on different main site subdomains.

RE: Domain name with a hyphen
It's totally not a problem for SEO.
Just weird from a user perspective when you tell people www.my "hyphen" site.com and type thru traffic.
I personally don't like hyphens for that reason, but i would rather a hyphen and having a much longer available domain name.
What are the two words, keywords or brand name?

RE: Phone numbers in the meta titles
Since the title tag is used for rankings by Google and no one is searching by typing in the phone number, you are wasting your title tag space.
Better to put the phone number towards the beginning of the meta description. This way people can see the phone number and call it without having to click anywhere. Since you are concerned with calls as a conversion, clicking through to the site is not a prerequisite, you just want them to call and this gives the phone number up front.
See the meta for <cite>www.drgeorgerappard.com/</cite>

I track over 50 sites in my field of concern and I don't see any impact in rankings from this update.

RE: Google indexing my website's Search Results pages. Should I block this?
Since you already released these out to the wild, I would analyze which search results pages are bringing in traffic and use that analysis to create new category pages on your site. I would certainly block the search parameter in the Webmaster tools and in robots.txt.. Most internal search results pages have little content value and the engines now look at your site as a whole and if a certain percentage of the site is low quality, the whole site will be penalized.

Thumbs Up to all fellow Mozzers and Thanks for the Free T Shirt
I wanted to thank the entire SEOMoz community, as I plan on hitting my 2012 goal of 1,000 SEOMoz points today. I will be the 49th Mozzer to reach 1,000 points and ironically, I am also in the 49th spot on the users board. All your thumbs ups and good answer markings have helped me attain my goal. I don't know what enticed me to spend so much time on this forum, was it the free t shirt, the authority title or just wanting to be on top of the latest SEO issues? Probably, a mix of all three. Also, once I get attached to something good, it's hard for me to peel away from it.
A special thanks to Rand Fishkin and to the entire SEOMoz staff who moderate the posts and pay lots of attention to all the comments. This is by more the most professional and helpful SEO forum for Mozzers at every level in the spectrum.

RE: Link to those that link to you? Worthwhile?
Since link building is a very time consuming process, you would be better concentrating on getting people to link directly to you.
If you get a link to a site that links to you, the PR from that original site is distributed equally among all the links on that page and you only get a very small fraction of that PR being passed to your site, so it's really not worth it.
That being said, links for the sole purpose traffic are completely legit, while links intended to manipulate search results are are not recommended at all.

RE: How do I do SEO for a client who is starting a website that is in a niche with very little to none search traffic?
never abandon keyword research.
if these are article and stories why geotarget for only singapore? Singapore English and Chinese languages used there means you can target more than just the singapore audience I assume?
