I'd add on a make sure your WordPress & all plug-ins are up-to-date. I had a problem with this and it was due to a security flaw in an old version of WP.

RE: API for testing duplicate content
While I don't know of an API that does that, you can set up your site using the SEOmoz tools and our Crawl Diagnostics section does look for Duplicate Cotent.

RE: SEO pluses/minuses of Content used in pop-up windows
For SEO, it all depends on how you code it. If you want the landing page to have the SEO, you need to make sure the content is on that landing page, not a separate page being called. Lightboxes typically are coded all on the same page.
Definitely pay attention to user experience stuff, like page speed and compatibility with different browsers.
Page speed: customers expect your site to load in less than 2 seconds and will (on average) have an abandon rate of 40% if it takes 3 seconds to load your page.
For compatibility, make sure to check out your analytics to see what devices/browsers the bulk of your customers are coming in on and test those.

RE: Is seomoz running a London event this year?
We currently don't have plans for a London event. That said...
We are planning on doing some Mozcations this year. Locations TBD. How we determine the location is by crowd-sourcing, so when we launch the crowd-sourcing, you'll have to advocate for London. We're planning one international and one US-based Mozcation.
That said, I suggest you check out Distilled Events, and you can even get a discount with our PRO Perks. (Just noticed, we don't have the London Discount up anymore. PM me if you're interested; it's 100 pounds off.)

RE: How to allow one directory in robots.txt
Yes, you can set it up like this:
Disallow: /user/ Allow: /user/password/
And that should do it!

RE: Duplicate content and blog/twitter feeds
Most feeds, like Feedburner, and blogs solve this issue with the canonical URL tag. Your post is marked as the canonical one and your feed a copy, which eliminates the duplicate content issue. You might also dig this post about advanced canonical tags.
Twitter is a different issue. Google doesn't treat Twitter like websites, but like a social platform. Additionally, you can only post 140 characters on it. Though I do encourage you to not just put a feed to Twitter, but instead craft it to be interesting for your audience or a call out for them to actually read it. I wouldn't worry about Twitter as duplicate content at all.

RE: Recommended marketplace for SEO
Check out our SEOmoz LinkedIn Group. People add job listings all the time, and I'm pretty good at keeping it updated.

RE: How to get listed on Bing TV
It looks to me like in the "web" listings on Bing's TV section that they always only show the top 2 listings, which seem to consistently be the official website for the show & then wikipedia. So if you can get the #2 ranking on that SERP, then it looks like you can be included on Bing's TV page.

RE: OSE Link Report Question.
Hi Seb,
"Number of Links" includes the total amount of links from all websites. Two links from the same website would be included twice.
Hope this helps!

RE: Link profile and stabilize the rankings
Hey Gabe,
Unfortunately, building links through link directories can give you a mixed bag of results. The best links with the most stability are going to be non-directory links. And sometimes, all it takes is a nice email asking someone to link your site.
Though if you're still looking for directories, check out Cyrus' post on how to find quality directories and best practices in your linking.

RE: Should i Change On Page Optimization ?
It all depends on where you want to drive your traffic due to what you think your customers will get the most value from. Even with tweaks, your homepage may never be as relevant for "computer monitoring software" as your pc-monitoring-software page. Yes, SEO is important, and it seems to me that you've got the basics down; but you always want to think what will make the customer the happiest as that's usually the best SEO answer too.

RE: Redirect between domains: any real number on how much link juice is lost?
How you phrased your question, I thought you were considering only moving pages that didn't have any backlinks, not the entire subfolder. You want to keep your URLs consistent, and it's pretty easy to build 301 redirects around an entire subfolder.
