hmmm $1000 / 8 hrs = $125 per hr Should have taken 30 mins tops and that's really too much time. So thats $62.50, and if they must charge you an hour minimum its $125 MAX At those rates they are claiming Almost 3 hrs work.

On-page grader question
Hey Si, That report is there because that URL is ranking for the keyword. The On-Page tool reports on any URL that is ranking for a keyword regardless of how optimized it is for that keyword. I hope that helps. Thanks! Joel.

Moz scores
Why the .net is ranking and the .com is was the first question that went through my mind too. Looking at the link profiles for the two domains the first impression is that the .com domain should rank because it's got loads more links than the .net domain. Virtually all of these links come from the .net variant of the domain. If you look a bit closer you'll see that wireless.com has external links from wireless-alarms.net & resonsesecurityweek.com. (And wireless-alarms.net is redirected to .com so I'm sure google wouldn't count these.) Wireless.net has links from: cheviotsecurity.co.uk & saboteurcrimeprevention.com. So out of the two, the .net looks marginally stronger.

Duplicating content on more than one social network
Are you posting the full text or a link to the content on your site? I would recommend putting the content on your site and sharing the URL on Google+, Linkedin, or Facebook. Regardless, I have never seen content on Google+ or Facebook impact anything to do with Google in regards to duplicate content.

Link quality
Hi Karl, Thank you too! Both you and Matt have cleared this up for me. Essentially providing the link is relevant and from a relevant source, it's useful irrespective of rankings to a greater or lesser degree. Very few people in the UK security sector use social media. I have been looking at it, but just don't see it working for us as there is not enough people using it. Have a great day. Si
