I took a look at your campaign and it seems that we crawled a lot more page of the site this week in general than we did the previous week. Two weeks ago, we crawled about 500 pages and this week the crawl jumped up to 2800. So it isn't that there are more duplicate pages on your site now, it is just that we are able to crawl more pages now than we were before, which led to us finding even more duplicate pages that had not been reported before.

As for why we are crawling so many more pages, it could be for a few reasons. If you made changes to the links on your site, the page hierarchy of the site, or if you remove noindex tags or updated the robots.txt file for the site, those things could all affect how we are able to crawl the site.

If you can send me examples of pages that you believe are being counted incorrectly, that will help me determine if there is an issue with the crawl or if the pages correctly fall into how we determine duplicates based on the canonical tags.

Hey Charl,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid we don't currently have a plan to break out the links from the external C-blocks by C-block or IP. We base our product changes on the number of customer requests made for a feature and I'm afraid that this feature has only been requested once, so it hasn't been our focus to make this update to the data.

Again, I would recommend submitting a feature request for us to keep this data in the future and make it sortable by C-block. Here's the feature request forum we use to collect ideas:

That forum goes directly to our Product team and they use the requests made there to inform our product changes going forward. It also allows other users to vote for the feature, as well, which is how we prioritize product updates.

Thanks for writing in with a great question! The Medium account level offers a total of 500,000 pages crawled, but this is automatically set at 50,000 pages for each of your 10 campaigns. At the Medium level, the page limits for the campaigns cannot be changed or customized. The campaign crawl limits can only be customized at the Large level and above.

In terms of our direct partners, when you publish a listing using Moz Local, the time it takes our partners to update the listing really depends on how long it takes them to accept the data we push to them and update the information across their servers. This can be anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks but generally is completed by around 4 weeks.

As for our Check Listing tool, that data is pulled live each time a check is run, so we display exactly what the different directories (including our partners) are providing through their backend APIs. It can take those directories up to 8 weeks  (with an average of about 4 weeks) anytime you update the data through the directories and engines directly.

Hey There,

You can definitely create monthly reports and even have them directly emailed to your clients if you would like! Right now, however, your account hasn't been active long enough for us to have monthly data, so you won't be able to create a monthly report until the October monthly data is compiled (which should happen on or before November 4th). Once that's done, you can follow the steps below to create the report.

You'll just need to create a custom report from here: http://www.screencast.com/t/bvNCRK8w
From there, you will be able to select the monthly time frame after the next month is updated.
After you've selected the monthly timeframe and added the modules, you can select for the report to run on a monthly basis and add any other emails you want the report to be sent to each month.

For monthly data, we update the account at the beginning of each month, so September data was updated between October 1-4 and October data will be updated between November 1-4. We do need at least 21 days of data to create a monthly report for the account so the campaigns you created on September 15th didn't have quite enough data to be included in the October update.

If you cancel your account, I'm afraid you would no longer have access to the reporting features of the account. The reports and campaigns are part of the paid features of the account, and only the community features like the blog and a few tools such as Open Site Explorer and Followerwonk are accessible with a free account.

Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion. Our link index is not created using our crawl test or campaign crawls of a site. The index is actually a completely separate database compiled by crawling the web and following the links we find there. Your site will only be included in Open Site Explorer if we find links to your site from outside sources.

Just so you know, here's how we compile our index:

• We grab the most recent index.
• We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains).
• We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 90,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index).

Therefore, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update) then it won't show up in our index. Most new sites and links will be indexed by our spiders and available in Mozscape and Open Site Explorer within 60 days, but some take even longer for many of reasons, including the crawl-ability of sites, the amount of inbound links to them, and the depth of pages in subdirectories.

As Pixelbypixel mentioned, Majestic SEO and Ahrefs often have a larger index than we do because their tools are exclusively focused on links, while we have a wide variety of tools with an overview of a site rather than on one specific aspect of SEO or marketing.

I took a look at the crawl test for www.nasscoinc.com and I've checked the site in our index, Open Site Explorer, and I do see that we have currently only indexed 2 internal pages on the site. This usually means that we haven't found enough high quality links to the site to consider the site valuable enough to fully index.

Mozscape focuses on a breadth-first approach. Therefore we almost always have content from the homepage of websites, externally linked-to pages, and pages higher up in a site's information hierarchy. While we have found some external links to www.nasscoinc.com, we haven't really found any to the internal pages of the site and the links we have found to the homepage aren't very high quality links.

For now, the best thing you can do to help your domain become indexed is to work on link building for links from sites with high mozrank. If you need help with that, you may want to ask the Moz Q&A community about it.

I hope this information helps! While the site and links may not be indexed yet, give it some time - maybe we'll see it in OSE next month.

Hey There,

Unfortunately, it looks like we aren't able to create a campaign for http://www.magallanes.cl because the server for that site is returning a 403 Forbidden error to our crawler: http://www.screencast.com/t/bVgWuFNvm.

I would recommend working with your webmaster to white-list our crawler, rogerbot, so that we are able to access your site. Once that is done, you should be able to create a campaign for your site with no issue.

Hey There,

Sorry that you are running into this issue with your campaign! Unfortunately, we can't track a site at specific path such as .html, so that may be why you are running into this issue. You should be receiving an error when you try to input that URL, and I am having my engineers look into why the error isn't showing correctly.

In order to track www.sweetlimeuk.com/index.html, you will actually need to create the campaign using the URL sweetlimeuk.com. You will receive a notice that this page redirects to the index.html page, but you can just select "No, track the redirect" to move past that. Hey there,

I'm sorry that you are having trouble deleting reports from the on-page grader! Reports that are automatically generated based on your rankings can't be deleted from your campaign, but any URL/keyword combination that you have added manually should just disappear as soon as you hit the delete button. If you aren't seeing that happen can you please email us directly at help@moz.com with examples of the reports you are trying to delete so that we can investigate further?

I'm afraid I don't see that you've replied to the email that I responded to yesterday. If you send in a new email with each reply, those don't come directly to me; they just go into a queue that is shared by everyone on the help team.

As for the period between, 6/23 and 7/12, I'm afraid the renewal on 6/13 was for a monthly contract and we aren't able to provide partial refunds. We did provide a full refund for the month of July, and you will see that back in your account shortly.

I looked into your blog campaign, and I am seeing full data available there. We did have an issue earlier this week with traffic data showing zeros on many campaigns due to a disruption of our connected with GA, caused be a DDoS attack. That issue has been resolved and the traffic data is correctly populating in your campaign now.
