Hi Everyone,

Thanks for writing in. We don't have a set "number" for when invites will go out to specific users from the invite list, since we will be letting users into the beta in groups and not one at a time. For example, PRO members that are attending MozCon will be given beta access for their current campaigns starting tomorrow, so that is about 900 users that are all being let in at the same time, users that technically all have the same place in line. Even if we had your exact place in the invite list, the timeline for when you would have access can vary since we are letting testers in incrementally as we determine that the product is stable for current users of the beta. I know it can be frustrating that we don't have an exact timeline for each user, but we are hoping to have everyone in Moz Analytics within the next three months. I'm sorry we can't be more specific for individual users! :[

I'm really sorry that you're running into this issue! We recently discovered that Squarespace's automated server systems have blocked our bot from accessing sites they host with a 403 Forbidden status. We are working with them to find a resolution to this block, but I am afraid that I am not certain if or when this will be resolved.

Again, we're sorry about the odd jump in duplicate content errors!

We just launched a new crawler and it is being extremely sensitive to duplicate content. As of now we are picking up duplicate pages on your domain via:

https clones of URLs

Some pages have a “/” trailing after the URL and some don’t

We are also ignoring some rel=canonical directives

This is an issue that other users are seeing with their crawls. Our engineers have made some changes to the crawler to scale back the sensitivity to these issues on the crawler and you should be seeing the changes within a week or two.

It is important to keep in mind that the Search Visibility metric relates only to the keywords you are tracking, so it isn't exactly correct to say that the Search Visibility score is skewed if you are tracking branded keywords. This is an accurate visibility score for the keywords you are tracking.

You can definitely see the Search Visibility for all of your non-branded keywords by using the filters as you suggested, which will give you a different perspective of your Search Visibility versus your competitors.

However, you could say that, in and of itself, the score is somewhat skewed just by the fact that these are the keywords you have chosen to target, rather than the total Search Visibility for all of the keywords you and your competitors may be ranking for. If your competitors aren't specifically targeting the same keywords you are tracking, you may be ranking better for those keywords, but you may not necessarily be as competitive in the overall rankings for every keyword. Our metrics can only be calculated for the terms you choose to track, so it is really just a view of the keywords you are targeting and not necessarily the full picture of your visibility as a site overall.

Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion. Right now, the only way to disconnect a GA account in Moz Analytics would be to completely disconnect from all of the GA accounts you have associated with your campaigns. We will not pull any data from your VA's personal account and he can actually revoke the token for Moz Analytics from within his GA account here: https://accounts.google.com/b/0/IssuedAuthSubTokens

In the future, we will separate out the GA profiles so you would only see the profiles for the accounts that are actually being tracked on your campaigns, but we are still in the process of building that out.

From Sha's answer there, it looks like this shouldn't disrupt Googlebot's ability to index your site and I do see 303 results when I run a site:www.mangofurniture.co.uk search in Google, so it does look like they are indexing your site and I'm not really certain why your homepage wouldn't be ranking. There are a lot of SEO related reasons that could happen.

Since I can't provide more insight into the SEO side of this question, I'm switching the category over to Technical SEO Issues for you, so you can hopefully get a better answer from one of the experts here.

Thanks for writing in with a great question. Unfortunately, there is no way to manually submit links to our index manually. All of the information we collect comes from an actual crawl of data in the internet, starting with the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank. We then crawl from the top down until we've crawled about 70 billion pages and then collate the data that was collected by following all of those links. The information is all automatically collected at this time.

You may consider adding this as a feature request so our product department might look into adding the ability to submit links in the future. Here's the feature request forum we use to collect ideas: http://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-seomoz-pro-feature-requests

You can add your request to submit links to the index and vote for other features you'd like to see and suggest your own, both of which help our product team in deciding what to build next.

Hi there!

I took a look at your campaign and it seems that we crawled a lot more page of the site this week in general than we did the previous week. Two weeks ago, we crawled about 500 pages and this week the crawl jumped up to 2800. So it isn't that there are more duplicate pages on your site now, it is just that we are able to crawl more pages now than we were before, which led to us finding even more duplicate pages that had not been reported before.

As for why we are crawling so many more pages, it could be for a few reasons. If you made changes to the links on your site, the page hierarchy of the site, or if you remove noindex tags or updated the robots.txt file for the site, those things could all affect how we are able to crawl the site.

Hey James,

I'm afraid there isn't a way to transfer keywords between campaigns and you would have to just add the keywords into the second campaign manually. One thing that may be helpful is that you can export a CSV from one campaign and then copy the keywords you want to add in the second campaign so you can just paste them into the Add & Manage section of the second campaign. The keywords would count separate between the two campaigns because they require separate resources to collate the data and pull the information that is relevant to the campaign from the rankings.

You can certainly share your login credentials with the contractor. We don't put any restrictions on how many people can be logged into the account at one time and that is the only way to share access to the data, so you are more than welcome to share your credentials, but the contractor will have full access to the account.

As ColinSV mentions, you can also create a custom report that cc's the contractor directly when the report is generated, so they can review the campaign data without having full access to the account.

Hi there! I just ran the site through our crawler using a few different cURLs and it does look like the homepage URL is returning a 404 to our crawler: http://www.screencast.com/t/fgoeCGHu and http://www.screencast.com/t/SRzcBXJIZmw. It may be a user agent specific issue, where the server may be trying to specifically block our crawler, but it is set to use the wrong http status so it returns a 404 rather than a 403. If you look at your server logs for the time of the crawl, you should be able to see the exact response of your server to our crawler, rogerbot. I would recommend working with your webmaster to look into how the site is responding to our crawler further.

Thanks for writing in and sorry that you didn't receive a full crawl. Unfortunately, we had an issue with our crawler starting yesterday evening that caused some crawls not to complete properly. We've given the "keys" to our directories list/database to +Ian Lurie , who is collaborating with +Mackenzie Fogelson and Distilled to put together a more robust and scalable solution for directories. With everything else we've got going on, we decided that curating the directories list was beyond the time/resources we have to devote to it. I know this gang of trusted providers will do a great job with it! Other than redirecting the page and handing over the existing list, +Moz won't be actively involved with the project.

Hey there! You can actually ignore an entire issue type from the top of the page. Just navigate to the issue type and click the "Ignore issue type" button in the top right corner of the page. This will ignore all pages with this issue type going forward.

While it can take a few days for a crawl to finish up, it does look like your site has been crawling for about 4 days, which is a little longer than usual. I'm really sorry about that! I'm so sorry that you are having trouble accessing your previous campaigns! I'm afraid you can currently only access your campaigns in the PRO version of the tool and you will need a direct link to do that. You will be able to reactivate your campaigns in PRO if you go to this link here:

Once you have reactivated your campaigns, you should see them migrated over to Moz Analytics in a short while.

Hi There,

Sorry that your graphs aren't loading properly. It isn't normal for the graph to take such a long time to load and there doesn't seem to be any issue with your Analytics connection. I checked all three of your campaigns and I am seeing that the organic traffic graphs are taking longer than normal to load. I'm seeing all of them eventually load, but it does seem that some of them are taking about a full minute so I will need to send this to our engineers to look into. I'm going to create a ticket in our help desk and use that to communicate with you and the engineers about this issue. You will receive an email from our help desk once the ticket has been created with a link to access the ticket and you can reply to me there with any further information or questions you may have.

Hey Dan,

Thanks for writing in with a great question. Right now, we do not have a way to give an additional user a separate login to the account, though we are working on that for the future, but we don't have an eta for when this feature will be released. Currently, the only option to give another user access to the account is to share your login credentials with them, I'm afraid. In the meantime, if you would just like to share data with the employee, you can set up a custom reprot to be emailed directly to them from your campaign.

I apologize for the inconvenience while we work to add secondary logins to the account.

Hi there!

I agree that Adam's answer is a good answer to your question and just wanted to add that we do not include personalized results for any of our rankings, even based on the location of our servers. There can be a lot of variation in what different people, searching from different computers/locations might see in the rankings. Our solution has been to run searches from a variety of IP addresses and IP blocks using non-personalized, search history/location agnostic requests. In our experience, these have provided the most accurate results, showing what the "most" users see, though we know there's still quite a bit of room for fluctuation.

Most search engines will personalize your results based on your search history. It does help to recommend that your clients are logged out when performing a search. For Google, they can also try adding &pws=0 to the end of the query string to help remove personalized results.

Search engines also customize results based on location. This means users in one city often see very different results than users in another location.

Thanks for writing in and sorry the data is looking off in OSE. Our index is currently showing data that was collected prior to March 19th, so it may be that dianomioffers.co.uk made changes to the links since we collected data for the index. Unfortunately, this issue is a bit difficult to troubleshoot because I can only see how the links are currently formatted on the site and I the only reference I have to how the links were formatted previously would be what we are showing in the index. We did previously have an index out that was released on March 29th, but due to some data retention issues, we had to role back to the older index. We are expecting to update back to the more current release by Thursday, so you may want to check again and see if the information for these links has been updated in the more current version of the index.
