RE: Moz Crawl Test Tool - SEO Web Crawler showing up with no details
Hey There,
I took a look at your site and it would seem that all of the links on the page bubblingwithenergy.info actually lead to pages on the www.bubblingwithenergy.info subdomain. Unfortunately, our crawl test tool only tracks sites at the subdomain level, so you would need run the crawl test for www.bubblingwithenergy.info to get a full crawl of the site.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if you need any further assistance with your crawl test.

RE: Google Analytics Linking
Hey Dustin,
I would love to look into this further for you, but I would need to know which campaign you are referring to in order to investigate the issue. If you prefer to keep your campaign details private, please email them to help@moz.com.

RE: Trying to add a campaign...
Hey There,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm so sorry for the trouble you experienced creating your campaign! Unfortunately, we were experiencing a DDOS attack over the weekend. This is caused some intermittent issues with different sections of the site, including campaign creation. You should now be able to create a campaign for your site again.
For more information on DDOS attacks, here are some great resources:

RE: My site is not being fully crawled
Hey There,
Thanks for writing in. We actually don't have a way to submit an XML sitemap and we only crawl the site by following the HTML links in the source code. From what I am seeing in your crawl, we are find very few unique internal links on your site, so we are only able to find unique 6 pages using the HTML links.
Unfortunately, it looks like the majority of your site is in Javascript, which our crawler is not able to parse, so we don't see any Javascript links on your site. I'm afraid that a site that is primarily in Java would not be compatible with our crawler.
I apologize for the inconvenience this causes. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: Sites internal links are not showing as inbound links
Hey Anirban,
I just took a look at both of the sites you are tracking in your campaign and I do see that we are showing internal links from each a site as inbound links in our index. Since you haven't included your sites directly in this public forum, I dont' want to provide screenshots that will show what they sites are, but you may just need to look a bit further down the list of links to see your internal inbound links.
For the two campaigns running for the same site, your internal inbound links start at a PA of 52 and for the other campaign they start at a PA of 47.
If you would like specific examples of these internal inbound links or if you are looking at another site in OSE and you prefer to keep those sites private, please email us at help@moz.com so we can provide further details for you.

RE: Weekly reports
Hey Martin,
I'm so sorry for the confusion here. When you see that the last report timeframe is from May 19th-25th, that means that it was actually updated on the 26th so the full data for the 25th was included in the update. Since we update the accounts ever 7 days, that means the next update will be today, June 2nd, for the weekly timeframe of May 26th-June 1st. Your campaign is set to be updated on Mondays, and you should see updated data by the end of the day PST.
When the campaign is updated, you will receive a notification that the data is updated.
I hope this clears things up. Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

RE: Monthly Reporting
Hey Jason,
Thanks for writing in. Monthly reporting for your campaigns will take place within about 4 days of the completion of each month. I am afraid we can't be more specific than that because every campaign receives a monthly update and it can take some time for all of the several hundred thousand campaigns we run to process each month.
The main campaign report is all in the same format and the monthly reporting would be on the same general timeline, but weekly reporting is based on the day of the week the campaign is created. For example, if you create your campaign on a Monday, the first collection will take place the next day and then the weekly report will run every 7 days thereafter, so the report will complete by the end of the day on Tuesday of each week.
You can also create custom reports for each campaign, but we don't have a way to set up a standard template for which sections of the campaign are included. You would just have to select the same sections in each report to ensure they are consistent. These reports run when the campaign data has been collected, so weekly reports run the day of the week the campaign updates and the monthly custom reports run after the monthly updates completes.
I'm afraid the reporting dates for the campaigns is set by the day they are created and can't be specified beyond that.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: Crawling password protected sites such as dev or staging areas to look at sites b4 going live ?
Hey Dan,
Unfortunately, our crawler is not able to access password protected content on your site. If you create a staging subdomain that is not password protected, you could use the robots.txt file to allow rogerbot and block other crawlers, but I'm afraid our crawler will not crawl anything that a normal search engine crawl would not be able to crawl so we cannot crawl password protected pages.
I hope this helps.

RE: My Facebook / Twitter Shares Not Showing Up
Hey Bridget,
Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion. The metrics we show for social media shares are URL specific, so we aren't seeing any Facebook or Tweets of the specific URL www.riddelllaw.com and, if you view the top pages section, we show the social shares for the top 25 pages of the site, which also don't have Facebook or Twitter shares. All of the pages we show in OSE include the www in the URL (because the non-www version of the site redirects to the www version). However, I checked specifically the Twitter and Facebook pages for the site and all of the links to the site are shared as the non-www version of the URL: http://screencast.com/t/KMLrwCJHapB
Because the www and the non-www pages are considered as different pages, we would not show the shares of the non-www pages when you are looking up the www version of the site in OSE.
I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: MOZ Crawl - Search engine blocked by robots .. but it isn't.
Hey David,
I took a look at your account and it looks like the campaign you are receiving this error on is actually blocking all crawlers from accessing the site. Without providing any identifying information, here is a screenshot of the the robots.txt file which bans our crawler, as well as all other crawlers from the site: http://screencast.com/t/AD2JEo0ZXI
In order to allow crawlers to to access the site, you would need to either remove the / after Disallow or change Disallow to Allow.
If you specifically want to allow our crawler, you can insert the following directive above the current directive that is in the file:
User-agent: rogerbot
Disallow:I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

RE: How do i change the timeframe to show a different date on my reports?
Hey Bob,
The old PRO application is still available for users that had accounts during the transition to Moz Analytics, so the Help page you referenced is correct for those customers. You will find the Help page for Moz Analytics custom reports here: http://moz.com/help/guides/custom-reports
We don't offer quarterly reporting in Moz Analytics because it was rarely used in the PRO application, but we do offer monthly reporting. Currently, we can only create a monthly report if we have 21 days worth of data at the beginning of the following month. I took a look at both of your campaigns and it looks like the older one was created on March 12th, so it missed the 21 day cut off by a couple of days. Unfortunately, at this time, if you miss the cut off for the monthly reporting at the beginning of the month you won't see a monthly report until the next month. I'm so sorry about that!

RE: Moz Crawl Report showing non-existent Duplicate Errors since new reporting layout
Hey Patricia,
Thanks for writing in and sorry that you are seeing strange data in your crawl diagnostics. We haven't made any changes that would affect the crawl in the way you are describing, so we will definitely need to look into this further. I am going to create a ticket in our email system so that I can get a few specific examples for you and investigate more directly. You should be receiving an email from me shortly and you can reply directly there.

RE: How do i change the timeframe to show a different date on my reports?
Hey Briana,
I'm really sorry for the confusion here! The ability to change the date ranges is not something we are actively working on at this time. It is something we are considering for the future, but we have not made a concrete decision either way on how we will proceed with that functionality and it is not in our current roadmap. For the foreseeable future, we will only be providing the data for the current timeframe and the date range will not be flexible.
I'm really sorry if that is not the type of reporting you need for your account! I will forward your feedback to our product team and I recommend that you submit a request to our Feature Request Forum to directly give the team your input and so other users can also add their voice to this request which will help our team as we consider if this is a function we will add to the tool in the future. You can find the request forum here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-Moz-Feature-Requests

RE: I keep getting Authentication Failed on the API
Hey Carmelo,
It looks like you are encountering a bit of a different issue. It sounds like you are receiving the error when you try to connect with Google Analytics rather than when you try to make an API call. I'm really sorry about that.
Google is currently having some authentication issues on their end. The issue seems to be clearing up and we are monitoring the issue as it resolved. If you are still encountering the issue, please contact our Help Team here: http://moz.com/help/contact for further assistance.

RE: What is the difference between a "Just Discovered" link and an "Established" link in OSE?
Hey Gerard,
Paddy's right that it can be about 4-8 weeks to see the Just Discovered links show up in the main index, but we also had a delay in this most recent update so the data is not as fresh as it normally would be. Normally, the data in the index is collected for about three weeks prior to the update, while the data for this index is probably closer to 6 weeks. Even so, we began feeding sites and links into the scheduler to be included in the next index well before we start collecting data. This means that, even if we found your links in Just Discovered links 6 or 7 weeks ago, those links might not have made it into the scheduler for this most recent update. They should be in the schedule for our next update, however.
I would say that it can be several updates before you see the links from Just Discovered show up as fully established links in the index as a general rule. We are working on a project that will make the index update with much fresher data in the future.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
