Hi All,

I run a small bank's website and we're currently in the process of organising a site rebuild.  Whilst this will be extensive and have many SEO factors to tick off, my concern now is to get a "realistic" number of keywords each of my pages should be targeting.

For instance for my car loan page i've done a review on moz's keyword tool and have picked 3 or 4 good keywords - but the problem is there are realistically 7-8 that would suit. Also this is based on Bing's info only.

Can anybody point me in the right direction (or have some google confirmed resource they can quote me)

Hope everyone is well.  I have a hypothetical and would love some experts advice.

For a product like a corporate credit card what's the best URL structure to get the most out of SEO. Assuming the Page Title is Corporate Credit Card (unless this isnt the best idea? However the product is called the "corporate credit card" ).  The reason this is trickier than I thought is because they say the rule of thumb is to use the plural of everything for best SEO.  However I have pluralized the sub page "credit cards".

1. www.website.com.au/products/credit-cards/corporate

2) www.website.com.au/products/credit-cards/corporate-credit-card

3) www.website.com.au/products/credit-cards/corporate-credit-cards

If someone were to search for corporate credit cards would option 1&2 show up correctly? Would moz rank this as an "F" ?

For some reason Moz is pulling up different versions of the same URL as confilicting / duplicate page content.  Whats the best way to rectify this or is it something that I should just ignore.

/NSW-locations , /NSW-Locations, Nsw-locations

Hi I've got the same problem.

Theres got to be an easier way to do this? Our subdomain is a banking product which doesnt allow for external access (for some silly reason).

Any assistance or advice would be fantastic as a long term strategy would probably annoy a few customers.

In the research I have done having a do follow link to a site that does the same to you could be conceived by google as a bit of link farming.  If its valid content / reason to do so then great and everything in moderation will get you by.

I'd be cautious about doing it more than just a few times in you LBS.  Admit I'm no expert though.

Hi Andy,

Im using the keyword rankings tool in Moz.  I first saw the drop today after the crawl compared to last week. I have made a change yesterday as the Page title wasnt correct (it was some random content) and the meta descirption was the same content as the page title - neither which included the keyword that im targeting.

Hope this is the right direction ?

Hope I could get some help. Moz has just finished crawling 1 of our 4 business sites and one of our keywords has dropped 24 places (21st to 45th).

Is this the new algorithm at play? (our site is responsive)

Im sure this has been answered somewhere but I couldn't find it.  SEOQuake etc suggest you should define meta keywords.  However I was under the impression that this was not best practice

Can anyone confirm what I should do/ is best practice?
