Merging two sites to one Rel Can Question
Hi David, Indeed like Daniel mentioned it's already enough if the pages redirect to the new version to make sure that the user is redirected to the right URL. If you're very lucky and the structure is the same on both sites then you would be able to take care off this with only 1 redirect. Martijn.

Need Help - Google has picked up an overseas company with the same name and put it in search on the right
Hi David, This is not an uncommon issue. See: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/business/lYNM9SSJOso http://www.localsearchforum.com/google-local/20149-knowledge-panel-shows-wrong-name-but-g-page-correct.html and also http://localu.org/blog/8-tips-optimize-local-knowledge-panel-google-search/ I recommend you create a thread in the Google forum (above) and if that doesn't work, that you get on the phone with Google via the contact button here: https://support.google.com/business/?hl=en&rd=1#topic=4539639 Hope this helps!

Why would one of the big 4 banks in Australia recently start defining meta-keywords?
first - a question - are they doing this intelligently? meaning are the keyword tags unique or reasonably unique to the page at hand? if so, here might be 2 good reasons: 1 - They use them internally as a simple way for lower level people to understand what the page is "for" 2 - They use them as part of content curation or internal search if not, then they may be generally not paying attention and some CMS technician is just filling in the boxes.

Whats the best way to structure my site?
Hi David, According to moz 'Use Keywords in Your URL' is moderate importance so it could affect a bit but on-page grade won't go beyond B. I don't think you should worry about it because in a URL we can use one keyword only and most of the cases we target several keywords on a single webpage and they do rank well, not possible to use all targeted keywords in a URL. Thanks

Lost 24 places with one keyword
First of all David, I would wait until the next refresh before making any decision on what could / couldn't have caused this. The MOZ tracker might have just caught the SERP in the middle of a bit of a Google dance, so it may return to where it was originally. If not, then we can look at other alternatives - it certainly doesn't sound like changing the page title as you suggest, could do this. Cheers, Andy

Meta Keywords - Should I define them myself
Actually I believe the "most correct" answer to this is - do not use meta keywords if your main search engine is Google. If you are trying to rank on Baidu, 360, Yandex or other search engines it may help you (but don't overspam.) The generic advice of "don't do it" disregards the possibility of optimising for other engines as most English-speaking work is done for Google. Otherwise, agree with the two other answers you've received. Just be aware of your goals and you'll be fine.

Its the 21st April, and my non responsive page is still ranking the same ?
Not all websites will be hit instantly, it's a rolling update which means it will be implemented over time and sites will be affected over time. So if your site is not mobile friendly and you still rank well today, it doesn't mean you got away with it.
