Troubleshooting Drop in Rank - could it be one of these?:
A lot of SEO can be undone/is reversible; the kicker is it's easier to go down faster than it is to get it back up. Changing things doesn't automatically (even when done correctly) mean you won't see a drop before a pick up. Google claims to be moving away from "exact" matches in keywords and more toward understanding content (example: degrees and certifications often have to do with acquiring knowledge and learning). My advice? Page title is one of the most important things Google looks at; make your count. If you are trying to do multiple things with it (location/keywords/NLP), then you have to wait out to see if Google figures it out. I have seen cases where pages can still rank even without an exact title/content match, but since you've noticed a decline, reconsider consistency across your optimization and content. BTW, as a user, NLP doesn't tell me what NLP is - only the acronym is used and that's not necessarily a good thing. (Ex: GHS? Greenfield High School or globally harmonized system.) How does Google know if your content is relevant to a searcher if it's not clear what NLP stands for? Also, check the technical and make sure there's no weird coding or broken somethings that could also be in the way. Good luck!

Infographic: how to organize and make it pretty
I like that infographic from searchenginejournal.com Does anyone know of an infographic that they can show me that is made out of a definition or content rather than statistics? And what do I need to keep in mind when doing that kind?

Why our site dropped in rank for a main keyword
It's dropped enough that it's not other sites doing SEO. Lately I've been carefully adding a phrase here and there to our articles' copy to match the keywords in our titles. A while back I added "and Utah" to our home page title tag, but that was a couple of months ago. No striking changes that I can see. We have 2 other sites and all sites have an "Our other sites" link to interconnect, but that's never been a problem before. Any help is greatly appreciated

Infographic: How do I make one out of this outline?
Since it is in an outline form to begin with, why not break it up into several infographics?

Keywords besides what is in Google Analytics
If you have mulitple clients like I do, get an Adwords MCC account. From there you can start your own profiles OR link to other Adwords Accounts. http://www.google.com/intl/en/adwords/myclientcenter/

Cononical URL problem
The Keyword Difficulty Tool doesn't tell you if you have a canonical URL problem. The metrics used in that report highlight inbound links and are separated into two categories: Root Domain Linking Root Domain - this is the total number of unique root domains links to your entire website regardless if it's the home page, contact, about, testimonials, etc. Page Linking Root Domains - this is the total number of unique root domains linking to that specific page ONLY and in your case, the home page.

Link Building in non-competitive industry
If there isn't a lot of competitiveness, there may be no need to build links? A comprehensive guide/article might already do the trick? Have you tried adding the articles to the site already? Targetting the keywords on the articles' pages in stead of the home page? You might already rank? So you analyzed the 5 competitors and they don't have any resource sections on their site? Why not try the rest of the web with the query: "the keyword you are building links for" allintitle:resources or allintitle:list or allintitle:blog or something similar?

Simple google plus question
Go for the new business pages - http://www.google.com/+/business/ Its well worth getting into using this and also think about the use of the button across the site to help with rankings as I expect them to become more and more important.

Sending a global facebook message
Bob, Since you don't have a lot of "likes" plus the page has been inactive for so long, I'm not sure you're going to get much traction by emailing everyone. I also don't think it will hurt anything. I know... real helpful right? If you do send an email, I would suggest making sure that you call out the name of the group or page specifically so if they do get two emails, they see it's because they belong to both. As Frank mentions, it's also good to add info about moving the pages right on the page itself. That might get people's attention more than anything. Hope this helps! Jen

What social would be good, what buttons to use
Currently you have a share Facebook button, however a "like" is much easier for the user (just one click) and still shows up in the user's timeline. I'd suggest changing that to just a "like" button. It wouldn't hurt to have a link to your facebook page as well. Since your page is so new, I'd ask all your friends and family to like your page so that it looks like it has a few more interested people. I also agree with Phillip that you'll probably need to test what works best for you. There is no magic number or formula when it comes to placing social buttons. Hope this helps!
