Hi
From an SEO point of view what are the current recommendations for linking and using the same template for the same brand on a .com and .co.uk website, so both named the same, using the same template and products but one for Europe and one for the states and Australia.

RE: Why is this site 1st in Google??
Hi
The domain is not first for wooden signs, in fact i cannot find it however Google will rank a site higher if the domain has a connection to the keyword or phrase, but there are factors to consider, most sites will rank first place for there domain name although when it comes to more competitive keywords or phrases then other ranking factors come in to play, also if a site is new Google will often rank the site higher for a short time.

RE: Does anyone use paid seo tools
When you say exposure combined with paid seo tools & exposure quicker, you are almost certainly talking link building tools, rather than tools provided by seomoz which mainly give you access to data & site improvement recommendations, I will tell you this regardless of what a lot of users on seomoz may tell you there are only 2 link building tools i know of that work 100% & do will not affect a sites Google status when used correctly, I say correctly as if they are not used correctly then they also will most likely sandbox a site, these tools are expensive as they combine not only the main software but many other paid software tools combined which makes the main software even more expensive to use, but here lies the key to your question about exposure quicker, NO USING LINK BUILDING TOOLS AND PRODUCING LINKS FOR YOUR SITE QUICKLY WILL DAMAGE IT.

RE: Backlinks, how do you get them?
Getting links is one thing, having them followed and indexed is another, personally i use a few indexing services like : linklliciouse just to make sure they get crawled and indexed.

RE: Can someone tell me whey my site has dropped ranks
Add more links like click here, visit us, read about it here that sort of thing, could also use some other keyword phrases, although there is a possibility that the keywords used in your in bound links are not the issue, I see you have 41% already with other anchor text, 26 % with Web Design Manchester & the rest is split up with small percentages.
looking at that I would be inclined to add some new keyword phrases, some one else may have a better take when looking at the percentages i have just given.

RE: .co.uk/index.html or just .co.uk - my on-page reports are different for both - why?
They are the same url with different addresses, I can tell you on my sites i add code to the htaccess file to redirect the /index to the actual home page url, this removes the fact that you have duplicate content as both pages are the same & stops both types being indexed, recommend you Google this problem to get the right code for your host server as they do differ. Hope this helps but might not be what you where looking for.

RE: Is article spinning bad?
My personal point of view is if the content is 80%+ unique and has had a manual review to make sure that it is not Spam in any way so it makes sense then it is fine for link building. How ever others will tell you this not the way to build a brand.

RE: Duplicate pages problem
Are you referring to duplicate page content? if so this could be down to the design template of your site. i.e same header, sidebar, footer on each page e.c.t .if so I would not worry to much about it as long as the main content is different on each page, I f you are referring to pages that are identical this can be produced by php software creating duplicate pages i.e /page1 could also be /something else, If so you could identify the structure of the url and instruct your sitemap generator program to ignore the undesirable url, or webmaster tools has a section for this also i believe.

RE: Opinions about good article writers and where to find them
I have used several writers on elance, Ordering just a few to begin with & getting a sample is a good idea, I would love to say that i have been 100% happy with the quality of the articles, but as yet that is not the case so always looking for someone better.
