Google+ Local ranking for company with no website
Hi Antony, I have Seen Profiles rankings on Google Locals but in very small locations. And I have also seen Google local listing Ranking with Free domains like wordpress etc. That provide you a free sub-domains. I will recommend you to have a Website because Competition is getting higher and higher So if you have a Website then You can manage onpage optimization stuff very well. And In-case you donot want to have a website then You should Go with option 2 above. Having sub-domain on any free hosting website. Thanks

When is UK version of Get Listed returning
Hey Antony! Thanks for writing in. As of now, we aren't sure. I know we've had issues getting non-US data providers to open up and let us look at listings, so it has been a challenge. Sorry about the vagueness of my reply, but it's been tough for us to get other "local" data. We hope to have some big changes to GetListed! early next year, so be on the look out. Also please give us more feedback on the feature request forum where others can vote up features they're looking for: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-Moz-Feature-Requests Thanks! Which Web host do you use?
I prefer Rackspace Cloud. Their system is highly customizable and their Admin panel is easy to use to get yourself up and running. Support is always there when I need it, never had to wait more than a few hours for non-emergencies and they hit me back with live help when it's urgent. Pricing will depend on what you need. Dedicated or non-dedicated is really the big question here.

Using author on every page of website?
Hi Anthony This isn't perhaps the practice I would recommend. Content using rel author should be to put it simply..... authored. The correct places for this to be used would be for example; blogs, guides, instructional content you have written. Other content such as videos etc could use rich snippets which can help boost click through. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions feel free to ask. Kind Regards Tim

Facebook Likes, What are your thoughts on people begging for them?
I think that if you can't naturally get likes and have to ask for them, then there's bigger business issues to address. But given that they can't make a value proposition as to why I should like their page, I don't expect these people to be smart marketers.

Seo work for video production
Yes, with blended search results a video for a competitive keyword is a bit easier to rank for. Specifically, any useful videos that you can use for link bait. Helpful videos are often overlooked, but IMHO have a high roi when it comes to other strategies. Guest blogging works great as well, but would prioritize videos higher.

Top of Google Places but not Organic
Hi Antony, I haven't seen a heatmap study or clickthru-type report covering this specifically. However, my gut feelings is that you are better off being #1 with places attached as the listing is so large and visible. I think you have cause to jump for joy with that top local ranking. I bet you are getting the lion's share of interest on that page of results. Sorry I don't have anything to quote you. It's possible someone has done a heatmap study and that might be something you could research.

Best Way to change domain name
Antony, If your site structure is to remain the same use Google's Step by Step Guide to Migrating a Domain Google recommends redirecting all pages. After you follow Google's suggestions on the move there are things you can do to speed this up. Tweet every URL on your new site that you want indexed. Check the site: indexation for inclusion of the new pages and don't forget the sitemap and Google Webmaster Tools for your URL preference.
