Company Facebook and Personal Facebook with company name.
I see this quite often with companies who've set themselves up on facebook. It makes no sense for businesses to have a personal profile. Those profiles are designed for people, and yes it's a violation of the terms of use for companies to masquerade as people (be it intentionally or otherwise). So a profile like that is in risk of being deleted by facebook at any time. Also from a user point of view it makes no sense to have to 'friend' an entity, and just looks plain weird when referred to as a person. e.g. "company ___ has just updates 'his (or her)' profile photo". etc. At least your company in question do have a proper page setup, so there really is no point in having a duplicate showing up. If they are using it as an account in order to access their Page they can do that so easily from their personal profiles. The Admin roles in facebook are now improved with a couple of different access levels from full admin to content creator, so there's no reason why the business owner, agency, content creators and anyone else can't manage a business Page with their personal profile(s) for access. On your business Page you will be able to build on those Likes and run ads etc. as it was designed to be used. My advice is delete the personal profile (making sure you'll be able to access the Page via another account first). If they have 'friends' customers etc. on that personal profile maybe post a message to forewarn them that you'll be deleting that account soon and to head over and Like your Page to keep updated. Hope this helps.

Trying to link a Legacy Youtube account to a Google+ Page, the option isn't available...
Awesome! this actually worked for one of my accounts. Unfortunately one of my accounts wont let me do this, or unlink them so I can do this. From what I am reading it has to do when and how the Youtube or Google+ profile was created. This was very helpful. I am going to keep playing with my owners/managers, and logging in with different users, and info to see if I can eventually get this to work properly. I am debating deleting the unwanted Google+ profile, and seeing if it will then allow me to attach a different google+ profile to the youtube channel. I am afraid that deleting the unwanted Google+ Profile will also delete the attached (wanted) youtube channel.

Removing images from site and Image Sitemap SEO advice
Good idea! I appreciate the time and feedback, Thank you! I will try what you said on a few slider images and see if it shows the images when crawled. Maybe I can pop the the same images as the links out on some of them so they are still being used on the page and not lose too much "juice"

Wondering about google site: search, and www vs non www
From Screaming Frog you have redirected correctly the www version to the non www version. (Which is what you stated above you wanted). By selecting the non www version in GWMT, you are just reinforcing that it is done in a way that works for you. There is no damage to the www not showing. Go to the nav bar and type in drumbeatmarketing.net and enter; you will see it resolve to www.drumbeatmarketing.net. So, any non www page is not going to show unless we have something wrong. All is good. Yours is just the opposite as that is what you wanted. No matter what anyone says, it is irrelevant which you choose to use (with the obvious exception where the site has not had a preferred domain and now has two values for PA and you are trying to merge them). Good question, glad to help, Robert

Google+ Pages and an unknown owner...how do I claim it or get it removed?
I reported our Company's old account, which was controlled by a former owner, and put up a new one. The old one was deleted within a week of the request. I tried to claim it to no avail for a couple weeks before creating the new one. Hope that helps!

I have a question about converting a flash site to word press
I'm with Brandon. I would try to match the URLs/pages where I could. But other than that if you're coming from a heavy Flash site you're likely to be doing a great service just by uploading the new site. Where you can't match the pages, make sure you implement 301 redirects to the new, similar content. You can good list of your current pages/URLs, as well as meta information with the Screaming Frog Spyder: http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/ This way you can plan out your redirect/rewrite/conversion strategy before you have to implement it.

Should I submit my articles to article submition sites myself or have a service submit my articles for me?
Article posting is mostly a waste of time. dont bother posting to sites that are made just for placing articles. Rtry to get your article placed on a relevant site or blog that is not built just for that purpose.

Root domain or subdomain when submitting to directories, also pr 3 and lower, is it bad to list to these directories?
Hello Jeff and welcome to the land of Moz. As to sub domains, yes www is a subdomain of www.example.com. But, my.example.com is a sub domain of example.com and your.domain.com is a subdomain of example.com. So, based on your question I am going to give you a question: Have you set a preferred domain in GWMT, Bing, etc.? You need to tell them whether or not you prefer www.yoursite.com or yoursite.com otherwise these are seen as two sites. Now, the other thing you need to do is correctly set them in your .htaccess file if you are using Apache for example. If you are unsure of how, let the community know here or in another question. Once that is done. Assuming you are only using your domain and not a sub domain, you will simply submit your preferred domain. The reason for this is: For ranking purposes, a domain and a sub domain are not treated as a single site/entity; they are treated as separate domains. So a link to one does not attribute anything to the other per se. Hope it helps,

Where is the best place to add links on my site?
I think if you do this you do have to keep the visitor in mind. First of all you have to appreciate that you're potentially creating leaks by creating these links. People will follow these leaks and not return. That said, if you can link to good supporting content that is going to help the visitor achevie their goals then I can see that it's going to help make their experience better. Sometimes it's better to have supporting information from a trusted third party to add authority to your content. As Robert said, make sure it's a good reputable source. Robert, do you no-follow any of these links?

My google ranking is coming up but not so much with yahoo and bing. Could someone give me some advice?
Hi Jeff, First of all, you are probably already aware of this, but Yahoo search is now powered by Bing, so any change that affects one will also affect the other. So, there are a few things I would look at if I were you. Duane Forrester from Bing has made it clear that Bing may use the meta keywords tag to identify sites that are attempting to gain rankings by spamming. Danny Sullivan wrote an article on this at Search Engine Land a while ago - The Meta Keywords Tag Lives At Bing And Why Only Spammers Should Use It. On checking your source code I see that the meta keywords tag has been fairly heavily keyword stuffed on all pages, so this will not be winning any Brownie points from Bing. If you want to use the tag, then you should limit it to just a few relevant terms (that are actually included in the page text). I have recently seen evidence with sites I am working on that good, basic optimization improvements, paying attention to fundamentals like keyword placement in Titles and improving the usefulness and readability of page content has brought across the board ranking improvements in Yahoo & Bing. Whatever you do with your content, make sure that the language is natural and not keyword stuffed. If you are wanting to get a good handle on your on-page optimization, you can use the On-page Keyword Analysis Tool to check your pages. You have access to the same tool from within your Pro campaigns, but in there you need to have already added the keyword you want to check into your campaign keyword list. With the version I have linked to (which you can access through Research Tools in your Pro Dashboard), you can check any URL for any keyword. I also noticed that you have multiple instances of instructions in the head of your pages due to having used different SEO plugins to edit the site. Bing's crawlers have a reputation for being quite sensitive to errors and code issues, so this is something that I would also clean up if I were you. You can also find useful information on optimization in the Beginner's Guide to SEO and this video on the SEOmoz Ranking Factors 2011 Pro Webinar. There is also lots of great information amongst the Whiteboard Friday videos and posts in both the Daily SEO Blog and YouMoz. Hope that helps, Sha
