You can now disavow bad links in Bing WMT, google has stated they will be doing the same, this should shake up the rankings when many sites get penalties lifted

go for the one, if you optimized for A B C, you will rank for C B A anyhow, if you can get both terms in but dont g un-natrual trying.

Sound like they are worth nothing, He is giving them footer links thart are not relevant, i doubt they are giving him any better back

Yes i agree, Thats why i said somtimes, when i made a site, not SEO, i should of said used to do. if i detected any hint of displeasure i removed them.

If i thought they were of any great use thenn i would still be doing so, but as i host most sites I build on same ip or c-block and in the footer, i dont think there is much tobe gained.

I would look in Bing WMT to see where the links are comming from for a start.

i must say also, If you dont know how they are doing it, then maybe you dont know if they are doing it., it may be somthing quite inocent.

Looking at your home page, its the sort of site after reading, you are either intrested or your not, unlike selling products where people may have a look at a few different pictures or products before making up their minds. I guess that does not explain a 90+ rate though

For a small budget, be carful of the keyword competition; make sure you can deliver, before the budget runs out.
I find that if you make sure a small site is technical sound, free from violations, you can rank well with “keyword location” with a limited amount of links. Local directories and the like put it on the owner to ask for business contacts for links and your home. To rank with out the location in the phrase is asking a bit much for most industries

I guess that depends on how much work was involved.

I changed domain names on a site and it took months to come back.

i would check to see if the pages have links, if the links are worth it, 301, if no links or crap links, just 404 it and start a new, 301 do not pass all link juice, they lose a bit each time, and it can get a management problem over time.

When it comes to keyword cannibalization, you should not link away from your page with that pages keyword to a page you do not want to rank for that same keyword.
If page A and page B both are equal in optimization for ford, then you link from A to B with the link text Ford, B will now be more relevant, but don’t let rule your decisions. Since ford dealer also needs to rank, what better way than to link to it with the keyword from the home page. it’s a bit like having money but never spending it.
OK now lets introduce Page C, lets say it’s a contact page, you don’t want it to rank for Ford. Then you do not want to link to it with the keyword Ford (example Ford contact page). You would be wasting the relevance.

I dont think it works, if anyone can do it, then it more than likly is a waste of time.

but if you can find a industry web site where you can post it, then that may be different, but any places that says post your press release here, then i would say no it have much benifit.

Try this in robots.txt, I did not think that Google allows wild cards but i just read that they do.

Then try in Google WMT to read with googlebot to see if it works.

Yes i just had a look as i removed some html from that page, thought i may of taken some of the wrong cope out, but no.

But i did find that i was messing around and added a empty organization snippet see below and forgot to remove it, it was just above the review, maybe it upset things

But not knowing the numbers for phrase and broad, I am split between Taxi Service Seattle, it has the highest, but Seattle Taxi Service rolls of the tongue better, and may convert better.
I think Seattle Taxi Service, you are still going to rank for all 3, and if you find later than you need to change you always can

i'm with Ryan, you are more then likly getting the wrap for the last SEO's spam.

comment spam would not get you to page one for any keyword worth having.

If the site structure is the same, then a simple redirect from oldDomain.com to newDomaina.com will do the trick.

If the site structure is different, then I would look at your external links, if a page has links then redirect it to a page with same or simular content on new site, those that don't have external links I would not bother wit there is no value in redirecting them.
