  • Hi there, The fact that your DA did not increase in the last months is not an issue. There might be a lot of reasons why that happened, im listing just a few (it doesn't that's your case): No better links added The total sum of authority on links added and on links lost is zero The entire ecosystem gained authority and there is no net increase As always, I'd strongly suggest you and everybody to dont worry that much about increasing any private metric (DA, PA, DR, TF or whatever) but focus on creating great content and if linking opportunities come, be sure that those links come from high quality and topic-related websites. I'd recommend you focus more on other aspects of SEO rather than backlinks and improving private metrics. • You are welcome Mmm, I'm not sure what do you mean by _developing something like a speed index. _  If you are referring to some mechanism to tell Google about your new backlinks so it can take them into consideration faster... I don't think that anything like that would help your website. That's clearly an attempt to manipulate the way their algorithm works.  Rest assured that Google will find your backlinks, as long as the page/website where they are is available to google and doesn't have any penalties to the eyes of GoogleBot. Hope it helps, Best luck. Gaston

  • As you know, PPC is a great way to get a quick boost. If you are looking for strictly organic, do research on some mid & long tails. Less competitive and can quickly get high in organics.  Good luck!

  • Hi Nathan, You are right. There was a broad algorithm update. Google made it official with a tweet: https://twitter.com/searchliaison/status/1216752087515586560 Yet, I haven't seen any change in my webs nor any comment from my colleagues about big changes. Hope there is nothing to worry about. Best of luck to all of us. Cheers, Gaston

  • I tend to always start with optimizing my homepage for the search term with the highest volume because homepages almost always have the most authority. So in this case, "immobilien countryname". Then create a main page for "apartments", another for "houses", another for "single family homes", and another for "properties".  I know I told you to optimize the homepage for "property countryname" but from a usability standpoint you'll want a property page that functions just like the apartments and houses page and not like a homepage. As far as picking keywords to optimize for...just use the keywords that are grammatically correct and you can still rank for the different versions of that phrase that are not grammatically correct. Type of content to include: Just think about what someone typing in that phrase would expect to see or would want answered and include that content. **Biggest thing to remember: **Just start! Create pages and add content. Improve upon it over time. Monitor your rankings for all the phrases and test different title tags and content paragraphs to see what gets you the best rankings. All the while, spend time building links. Boyd

  • Thanks, those are some good resources. It's a shame there isn't a definite order, I could really do with following a definitive checklist to work my way through. Never mind, I'll just spread my time fairly evenly. Cheers

  • The spam score is based on a lot of factors that MOZ's crawler takes into account. You can learn more about the how the spam score works here and see what's affecting your site. Having a high spam score doesn't automatically mean the site is spammy, but its worth looking into what's happening.

  • Hi there, Nope, highlighting keywords in bold does not have any direct impact on SEO. Google's spokesman (John Mueller) has said that bolding help more humans than bots a few years ago, you can check it here. If that website ranks high is because they are offering great content and experience to users and they might be getting great backlinks.  We could argue if that seems natural for a common reader (not an SEO minded like us). It might seem a little off to be highlighted just right away, but still, it is a great piece of content. My experience points out that internal linking with rich keyword focus helps Google a lot on understanding its content and on targetting a specific search phrase. Hope it helps. Best luck. Gaston

  • Hi Ryan, In my experience EDMs have their place where keywords have low Difficulty scores (less than 30). To test this in 2017 I launched a domain for my UX Design agency using the URL: https://ux-design.agency/ We're tracking the keywords in Moz since 2017 and you can see the Moz chart here. At this time we have 26 keywords on page 1 for our EDM and similar variants. I think in this specific case another benefit has been that 3rd party authority websites that do want to link with just the URL, result in links that contain the target keyword text. You can see this in the last couple of months where we have won some awards and the resultant links have improved the organic positions. Lastly, I have seen this not work on more competitive search terms. Hope that helps Peter I think the success of this strategy eyybN4A
