  • Any page that has a question and answer format can be written up with the schema mentioned. It doesn't matter if it's a blog post per se or an actual FAQ page.  Markup is  just markup. That doesn't mean it will show up in Google's results.  The page you submitted is eligible for rich snippets.  The markup looks good.  I personally use "QAPage" vs "FAQPage" but the code is good and has been run through Google's tester.  See link. https://search.google.com/test/rich-results?utm_campaign=devsite&utm_medium=jsonld&utm_source=qapage&id=BMUQwAqEfagmo9FsrPBvrg I've only been doing the markup for a few months but on the site that I do have snippets, it's for questions that are actually searched for in Google and typically they show up in Google's autocomplete results.  Not to say that other forms of questions can't but I've only had success with higher search volume phrases for my site.  I also found that the shorter the question phrase the better chance they had to show up.  Our FAQ page has 25 Qs and As and only 5 of them show up in rich  snippets.  We also have a domain authority of 62 so I'm not sure if that helps either. Again, this is mostly anecdotal and not empirical. Hope it helps.

  • Three methods using modules on your existing CMS of implementing the fixes.  I use labels  A, B & C three different configurations C is the least expensive I think all three of them would add a lot of value however you would be very safe using A  or C A) **1) all-in-one with canonical ** https://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-natural-search-engine-optimization/41644-essential-seo-all-in-one-tools-by-experts.html 2) JSON-LD https://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-natural-search-engine-optimization/31857-seo-structured-data-schema-markup-rich-snippet.html B) 1) Add a canonical tag to your site https://addons.prestashop.com/en/url-redirects/22526-canonical-seo.html 2) open graph https://addons.prestashop.com/en/products-on-facebook-social-networks/19002-open-graph-protocol-social-seo.html 3) JSON-LD https://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-natural-search-engine-optimization/31857-seo-structured-data-schema-markup-rich-snippet.html or C ) 1) Add a canonical tag to your site https://addons.prestashop.com/en/url-redirects/22526-canonical-seo.html 2) This module offers structured data/JSON-LD Facebook and Twitter open graph tag redirects  Site maps etc. a base SEO suite without a canonical tag found above. https://addons.prestashop.com/en/seo-natural-search-engine-optimization/24387-everest-seo.html#overview This video is of the all-in-one module without the canonical tag unfortunately but it's the least expensive of the two. https://youtu.be/q3cQICHPypQ I hope this wasn't confusing I would choose A or C it will really help your site. • According to Google’s John Mueller "No".  However, users  bouncing because of them may be a negative SEO factor (even if the videos are muted).  Some site rank high with a high bounce rate (ie - blogs). Other issues involved could be load time, accessibility and etc. I would run an a/b test with session recording and let the users decide. Good luck!

  • Unfortunately that area of the web is in decline. Most Q&A systems now function via apps or closed communities like Online Geniuses (via Slack) or the Buffer Community. This is sad, because Q&A forums (like this one) add great value to the web Although Quora is one of the best Q&A sites, it's way worse than it used to be. They made loads of changes to it to make it too simple (when people sometimes have complex questions). They really angered their own community to the point that loads of people left. Lot's of people started saying that Quora was bad, even their own users (openly) It used to be a place that an average person could go to ask a question and get an intelligent answer from a smart person. Now it's barely better than Yahoo Answers (in my opinion) I used to use it all the time, back in 201X's it was worthwhile. Now it's not

  • While ownership of your listings is unlikely to impact SEO, be aware that Google is being extremely hyperactive about putting listings in a pending state right now following many kinds of changes. So, just know, if you make a change right now, it could have this effect.

  • Hi Jeff, I'd be surprised if it's hurting you in any way. However, it's good that you're thinking about it. Now could be a good time to modernize your approach to building relationships with (and links among) related businesses in your community. My latest post on the Moz blog is all about this, and you might find it a good read: https://moz.com/blog/2020-local-seo-success *See particularly the Q4 strategy section.
