Very unsure about thousands of backlinks from jesse tree
This probably isn't the last time you'll see some odd linking behavior to your site. You're doing the right thing by keeping an eye out on your backlink profile.

Multistore Sitemap
I would recommend having 2 sitemaps - one for the US store and the other for the EU store. However, technically one sitemap will be fine. The reason I would recommend 2 different ones is for you to be able to see how many URLs from each sitemap are being indexed vs how many are being ignored - this will allow you to further investigate any possible issues. That being said, it sounds like you have a different issue since Google is choosing different canonicals than the ones you are declaring. This would probably be because the US and EU pages are almost identical and Google doesn't see a need to index both. Have you implemented HREFLANG across your website to target the different regions? I would also look into the on-page elements & content for each page to make them more relevant to their targeted regions. Things like Titles, Headers, descriptive text, etc should be different in both sets of pages depending on the target region of each page. Hope that helps.

301 passing authority?
Hi there, I need to clarify that 301 redirections, definitely pass authority. That's not even a discussion. As you are asking about merging (I guess) 3 smalls websites into a fourth and big one, that's a really tricky question. It depends on many other factors, some are: Content matching Answering user questions Brand relationship In my experience, doing this kind of merging is a messy process and in many cases, it ends up losing some of the previous rankings/traffic already gained by the small websites. I'd suggest you focus on improving the main website and, if applicable link to that page from the small websites. If that overlap is harming your sales, your brand strategy or other marketing efforts, then you should act accordingly. But if these websites are different identities and by themselves bring sales, that overlapping might be beneficial for you in not letting competitors rank there ;). Hope it helps, Best luck!

Links Not Detected by MOZ, AHREFS, GSC-ARE THESE QUALITY LINKS?
Hi there I am guessing you are the owner of Metro Manhattan judging by the pattern of the web-pages, in terms of where they are linking to! I think we may have chatted before actually (correct me if I am wrong) https://patch.com/new-york/bayside/bayside-queens-priciest-area-retail-office-space-study This post is indexable on Google. It has really good authority (90/100 domain rating on Ahrefs) and would be a great link, but the link has been no-followed. It doesn't influence Google's rankings at all. Your link shares the URL with other links which also point to other external sources SEO rating: 0/10, as it's no-followed https://qns.com/story/2019/12/04/these-commercial-streets-in-queens-were-among-the-most-expensive-in-2019/ This post is indexable on Google. Solid domain rating on Ahrefs (73/100). You don't share the post with too many other link destinations. The link is followed, so it should count for Google SEO rating: 7.5/10 https://patch.com/new-york/brooklyn/flatbush-ave-priciest-retail-spot-outside-manhattan-study You only posted five links, you'd think your supplier would manage to get five links on different domains, the more links you have from one domain (in a short space of time) the less they matter. Regardless, this link won't count for SEO at all as it's no-followed SEO rating: 0/10, as it's no-followed http://thejewishvoice.com/2019/12/07/nycs-most-expensive-commercial-streets-neighborhoods-in-2019-would-surprise-you/ An average domain rating on Ahrefs of 53, not bad at all. Sadly, your link supplier (not the site owner) 'lied' to you when they said this was one of your backlinks. There are no links from this page to your page. If there's no link at all, how good could the link be? SEO rating: -5/10, as they (your link suppliers, not the owners of Thejewishvoice.com) fibbed to you. Naughty naughty! Evidence screenshot of failing to find link: https://d.pr/i/WfUUgV.png https://atalyst.com/investment-banking-interview-metro-manhattan/ The Ahrefs domain rating for "atalyst.com" is only 16/100, that's not something where you could consider it a 'quality' link in my opinion. The link to Metro Manhattan on this URL is followed, so it does count towards rankings - but load the page and look at it! It's very thin content, I'd go so far as to say it's 'not content' at all. It's an image and a strapline and a link. If you think Google cares about this, you are wrong SEO rating: 2/10, might help a little, but barely at all So now, I have looked at each link and graded it out of 10. The scores were 0, 7.5, 0, -5 and 2. Each link could have scored 10/10, which means our total max possible score is 50 (10 x 5 links) When we add the numbers up, we get 4.5/50, or a 9% rating For something to be considered 'quality', I think it should have to be "50% decent or higher". 9% isn't good enough (IMO)

What to do if ranking the wrong KW?
Hi Ryan, I'd recommend focusing on the intent of the search and whether your conversion page satisfies that intent or not. If it does, then go for it. However, if the conversion page doesn't satisfy the intent, you'll see the new page drop in rankings. An alternative would be to leave the current page as it is and add a call to action and internal links to your conversion page for the segment of readers who are interested in the service.

Using Link Tracking list to track 301 backlinks for my main site backlink profile?
Hi Akiedo. To my knowledge, there is no difference. Links will appear in your website's backlink profile once Moz's bot has crawled that pages and understands those links. I'd worry that much, eventually will be discovered. Hope it helps. Best luck. Gaston

Is there a way to get a list of urls on the website?
You can run a "site:yourwebsite.com" search on google and see what is returned. Based on the results you can run further "site:" searches along with more parameters to see more URLs in the index. A general "site:yourwebsite.com" idea about how many pages are in the index, but it's not 100% accurate.

My site auto redirects http to https. This is causing redirect chains. What can I do?
Where are you starting your crawl or check from? If you are staring from http://www.example-link and you have SSL configured, then naturally you will be redirected to https://www.example-link - if that's the case, you can reconfigure your tools to start from the https version of your website and see what's happening then. You should also check all your internal links and see if any of them are pointing to the http version and then update them all to the https version. This should sort out your http to https chains.
