Can you have too many Schema.org references
Hi there. Here is a video from Matt Cutts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePG5YYHU5Jo And he says "the more schema there is the better". And it does make sense. Schema is kinda like legend or hints on a map, which helps google to understand" what's what and where to go" So, the more help they have the better. However, do make sure that all markup is legitimate, makes sense and not used in spammy way. Cheers

Blog Page Titles - Page 1, Page 2 etc.
I am having this very problem but it is probably a fundamental misunderstanding of search engines so bear with me. I have used Yoast SEO to turn on "noindex, follow" for archives and categories but not for www.cpresearch.net/blog. The reason is that I am presuming that indexing the blog is necessary to find posts besides the current ones. If that is not the case, what link is Google following to find the cannonicalized posts after they scroll from the one I list on the homepage. And do I need to be indexed by Google daily to make sure my cannonicalized URLs are indexed? I fear they will be orphaned... Thanks for any insight.

When is it wrong to use a competitors brand name?
It's something I see a lot of. Only thing you have to worry about is annoying you're competitor to the point where they drive your adspend through the roof and try various ways to catch you're traffic too. We just had a competitor do something similar. Google wont mind much though

Redirect if old browser or OS to other domain?
Hi. Wow! Never heard of such problem ever before. I'm not even sure how that's possible. Are you sure that it's OS, not certain machine/virus etc? Also is it happening in every browser? As for redirect, as far as I know, there is no way to intercept OS versions. Even if there is, it would be extremely weird and not making sense. I'd look into other SSLs which are "normal".

Domain Authority Not Updating?
Everyone, A very similar question was asked after this one and got a different answer from a different Mozer. See https://moz.com/community/q/oct-14-2015-mozscape-update-none-of-da-are-changed. Check there for the latest update. Basically, " I just confirmed with our engineers the DA/PA is from the last index. There will be a post providing more details, hopefully very soon in the Q&A. " That was ~3 hours ago - 5 pm EST 10/16/15.

TD*IDF analysis Tools
Hi Chris, I don't know of any free tools that do this unless you want to write some code yourself. If you go that route we have some open source libraries that you might find useful, especially qdr that implements the TF-IDF scoring and dragnet for parsing/cleaning the HTML. Good luck in your search!

Separating the syndicated content because of Google News
Hi Lukas. The main guideline to follow here is isolating your original content for Google News. This means having the non-syndicated content in its own directory, making sure it's the only content you're submitting in the XML sitemap for News, and when you are accepted into Google News, making sure you keep all the syndicated content out of that news subdirectory. If you do that, it's fine to have all your other syndicated content in the /SYNDICATED directory. I wouldn't about linking to these articles from other parts of your site. Google won't penalize duplicate content that's syndicated, they just attempt to determine the original creator of the content and filter out the syndication partners from the search results. There's no harm at all having this content on your site or linking to it. As for using NOINDEX or a robots.txt disallow on the syndicated content, it's largely up to you. I know some SEOs who prefer to signal to Google to stay out of there and keep it out of the index, and some SEOs who let the content be crawled and for Google to make the call. The most important thing is to create a clean, news-only section of the site and only submit that for Google News inclusion, and maintain a sitemap just for that section. Good luck! Matthew Brown Moz

Does google flag bad back links
Hi Li, Moz will show you the linking page with their Open Site Explorer. If you are looking at your whole domain, just enter the homepage url and set the filter "target" to "this root domain". It will then show you the site.page linking to you plus the page its linking too. You can also download a CSV file to help you quickly sort. If your goal is to get rid of bad links, you can use the Open Site Explorer to see a sites "Spam Score". Any domain with a rating of 7+ is probably a good candidate. I do agree with Josh, in that removing bad links is not a high priority unless you know you have used bad SEO tactics to spam your site. Hope this helps, Don

Can any one give some advise on how to work out which back links are bad
Hi Li, You can use Moz Spam Score but you probably want to use a more specialized link-profile tool like Majestic or AHRefs. Majestic: www.majestic.com AHRefs: https://ahrefs.com These options are great for determining the value of links coming into your site. I personally use Majestic since it's easy to present to clients and help them understand link profiles, but AHRefs has a larger database. When it comes to disavowing, you just want to conduct a domain search through one of these tools, and the spammy websites will be readily apparent. Look for inbound links coming from sites that are irrelevant to your website. You may have to go through the link lists manually and judge for yourself whether they are coming from spammy sources. You will know based on whether or not the website uses the same language your website does, whether the link metrics are good (are there tons of links coming from a few referring domains, or are these numbers roughly equal?) and where are these websites hosted? Check into these metrics and you are well on your way to determining which links are worthy of removal/disavowal. Hope this helps! Rob

Should I submit a sitemap for a site with dynamic pages?
Hi Anuj - I think you are operating from a very false assumption that is going to hurt your organic traffic (I suspect it has already). The XML sitemap is one of the the very best ways to tell the search engines about new content on your website. Therefore, by not putting your new coupons in the sitemap, you are not giving the search engines one of the strongest signals possible that new content is there. Of course, you have to automate your sitemap and have it update as often as possible. Depending on the size of your site and therefore the processing time, you could do it hourly, every 4 hours, something like that. If you need recommendations for automated sitemap tools, let me know. I should also point out that you should put the frequency that the URLs are updated (you should keep static URLs for even your coupons if possible). This will be a big win for you. Finally, if you want to make sure your static pages are always indexed, or want to keep an eye on different types of coupons, you can create separate sitemaps under your main sitemap.xml and segment by type. So static-pages-sitemap.xml, type-1-sitemap.xml, etc. This way you can monitor indexation by type. Hope this helps! Let me know if you need an audit or something like that. Sounds like there are some easy wins! John

Does my website need the SSL Cert / HTTPS Update?
I very much agree with this. Get an audit done first to uncover what happened last year around the time the HTTPS "thing" was announced, then move forward. For your case, HTTPS could help with conversions, but I wouldn't count on it to help with SEO.
