Affiliate and Earning Disclosure help please
Super affiliate here. While Everett and Thomas are right to point you in the direction of the FTC texts, keep in mind that the FTC guidelines are just that: guidelines. They're not law, not widely enforced, and Google largely ignores affiliate links so long as they're nofollowed. They don't seem to be quite up to the level of the sponsored links and content that bloggers must disclose to avoid a Google penalty (but again, that's Google's enforcement of their own guidelines, not law.) Some merchants with affiliate programs will insist on clear and conspicuous disclosure if you want to remain in their program, but really their panic over the guidelines died down pretty fast after they were released in 2012. The one major exception that comes to mind are credit cards providers, which are exceptionally picky about compliance on this issue since they're subject to tighter regulation on the banking side of things. All that is not to say that disclosure isn't the right thing to do - only that it's not likely to land you in hot water with anyone anytime soon.

URL Masking or Cloaking?
That's true, they append parameters tracking where you came from, which looks like it can affect the navigation you're seeing on the left. They're making sure that Google doesn't get confused by using a canonical on their pages, like Mike, Eric and I have recommended.

Scheduled update - Re-Crawl - recrawl
Hi there! Any changes in settings for a related section such as adding a Google Analytics profile (or adding/deleting tracked keywords, changing search engines, updating competitors, etc.), you will have to wait until the next scheduled update for that section to see fresh data! In most cases, that means it should be reflected in the campaign's next weekly update. Let me know if you have any questions, or need clarification. I’m happy to help

Does a tag inside H1 affect SEO?
Just to expand on the other comments, the tag is used for styling, (http://www.w3schools.com/TAGs/tag_small.asp) So the h1 would still apply, it is just styled different to the "standard" h1 style.

How do YOU do an AdWords Audit?
Hi Patrick, I haven't personally used scripts for account auditing, but here's a quick rundown of things I look for when checking out a newly acquired/inherited account: Ensure that campaign settings are set appropriately/intentionally with particular emphasis on: Device bidding Location targeting Language targeting Bid strategy/budget/delivery method Ad scheduling and ad rotation Check that each ad group has at least two active ads in rotation Keywords: Sort keywords by cost over the last few months and check for any major bleeders Consider changing any broad match keywords to modified broad match Check for any negative keyword conflicts Run a search term report to find any bleeders (and maybe new keywords to bid on) Check that extensions are being used throughout the account. At minimum, sitelink extensions should be used with at least four per campaign (and each sitelink should be an enhanced sitelink). For any GDN campaigns, check out the placements report and clean up any bleeders there. Check for any automated rules or scripts that may be running to make sure that anything that may be on is intentional. I'm sure there's a ton more you could do, but that's everything that would come to mind immediately for me. For settings-related things, I usually just pull up AWE and check things out in there. Makes it a tad faster, but I bet a script-based audit would be awesome! I've seen pretty cool audit reports in Word doc and ppt form. Either would work well as long as it's organized! Good luck!

Identifying new topics/sub-segments?
You've got most of the main tools covered but you could try ubersuggest, the new Moz keyword tool or semrush too. Semrush is particularly great for competitive research - filter for a landing page and see what keywords it ranks for. You could also filter for keywords that include "model" if you're interested in only those. Hope this helps!

Hreflang Tags & Canonicals Being Used
Going by: "First, the hreflang tags are implement properly. UK page pointing there, US page pointing there. Further down the page, there are canonical tags - except the UK canonical tag points to the UK page, and the US version points to the US page. " It looks like you're doing it fine, however just use the chart on the site Nikhilesh linked:https://hreflang.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/mobile-hreflang-canonical.png

Using Hashtag for Google My Business
Hey John, Hmm, what a strange answer this is: Answer In regards to the hashtags, you can either use them or if you prefer only the related keywords to be used, that works as well. Also, you can follow the tips I have shared in my previous email. I am totally in the dark about why Google would even mention this. Maybe I've missed something

Apsense.com, small social media sites and local directories in link building
Hi Bob, If by national, you mean virtual (you don't meet with clients face-to-face) then local business directories would not be a good fit. But, if your national business does meet face-to-face with clients, then it may be eligible for inclusion in local business directories. Without more details, it a bit hard to say.

Why doesn't the Wikipedia homepage have meta tags?
To add on to Gaston's Reply, Wikipedia is up that Top 10 or 20 sites that could do everything wrong ( in fact some do ) regarding SEO and still rank number 1, Google's reasoning for this is basically, their too big to fail. If people started not seeing wikipedia pages, heads and traffic would roll. So since Google knows that traffic will continue as long as certain sites are always listed, they will overlook their SEO issues. I don't know for how long though, as I see pages from wiki that are awaiting deletion ranking on page 1 and 2 sometimes, not to mention the sometimes completely inaccurate information on some of wiki's pages, although rare doesn't boast well for SERPs relevancy. So to put it in otherwords, Wikipedia is above the law...

Edit URL display in PDF reports
Hi there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. Unfortunately, there's currently no way to expand the view of those URLs in your PDF exports. Sorry about that! While it's not as pretty a report, if you download the CSV instead of the PDF report, you'll be able to access the full URL for your landing pages. I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to the product team - maybe in future updates to the product we can improve the visibility of these URLs in this PDF. Thanks for taking the time to write in! If you've got more questions, feel free to write in to help@moz.com any time!

23k Links from one doman pointing to a single page, good or bad?
Google has devalued sitewide links (and links from sidebars/footers) for a long time. Where you could get into trouble with this is if those "text ad" links don't include the requisite no-follow attribute. That would definitely get them flagged as manipulative and against ToS. Paul

422 vs 404 Status Codes
Thanks Mike. Your initial solution would be preferred, but its not scalable. We are talking about over 100 websites with varying levels of inventory. I was thinking along the lines of the keeping the 404 or 410 status. It was just odd when the vendor proposed a 422 error, when its not a preferred option in Google's support pages. I was just wondering if anyone used the 422 response code before and if so, why.

Our Web Site Is candere.com. Its PA and back link status are different for https://www.candere.com, http://www.candere.com, https://candere.com, and http://candere.com. Recently, we have completely move from http to https.
Yes, I would not worry about the differences in how OSE views the different url's PA/DA This would be for the reasons already noted, plus OSE is not Google. The main issue is to make sure your recent move to https is buttoned down. If you haven't already, look at this on Moz, especially the links to best practices on migrating to https. https://moz.com/blog/seo-tips-https-ssl Best of Luck... Mike
