  • If you have no (more) links to the tags, maybe there is a sitemap? I mean, when moz found them, there was a way to do that right? This way seems to exist, still. Maybe you have hidden links to tags or something? In most cases you don't need to redirect them (if there never was value/rankings/something useful) from an SEO POV, but from User view, you should kill the links or kill tag-sitemap whatever. 404 is ok then, if not internal linked.

  • Have you reviewed the reasons Google might exclude a page from the search results when accessing these reports in Google Search Console?  You can find them here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7440203?hl=en#information-status "Crawled - currently not indexed: The page was crawled by Google, but not indexed. It may or may not be indexed in the future; no need to resubmit this URL for crawling." "Discovered - currently not indexed: The page was found by Google, but not crawled yet. Typically, Google tried to crawl the URL but the site was overloaded; therefore Google had to reschedule the crawl. This is why the last crawl date is empty on the report." To Do: 1. Check your server logs for errors (esp. 500 response codes) or downtime reports for intermittent outages. Maybe your host is "throttling" traffic? 2. Add more value to those pages. Google may have no trouble finding and rendering a page, and still decide it isn't up to their standards for inclusion in the index. User-Generated Content is often very thin. Real estate listings are usually comprised of the same data everyone else has access to. What makes yours better or different? Is that communicated to Google somehow?

  • Canonical reference links are the preferred technique for this. If you do nothing, very likely the search engines will decide for you which variations of your pages to index, and the selection may not be ideal. If an index page can be filtered many different ways, the unfiltered version should be referenced as the canonical on each, and a self-referencing canonical link should also be specified on the unfiltered version. You don't really yet want to disallow the crawling of the refinement paths, because without canonicals implemented, you might very well do more harm than good, finding important pages getting de-indexed. If at some point in the future you find that all the URLs from the refinement paths have been disappeared from the index, and your desired pages are all indexed properly, then at that future date you might want to disallow crawling of the refinement paths (in your robots.txt file). But, not yet, IMO.

  • Don't go with these tricks. These links are not helpful for your blog/website. People make these links just to increase the number of Moz Domain Authority (DA). Sites with low DA like "IPLt20" has good result in SERP rather than high DA site which is made by the links you mentioned. So never recommend using these types of links that are not beneficial for your site ranking.

  • We ended up discovering that Google was very slow to update the console.  Where other crawlers will crawl on demand and provide results in a couple of hours, in comparison, Google is about 3-4 days behind.  We also heard that they have been having issues with the crawler lately which is what led to them temporarily disabling the "Request Indexing" button.  So we look at Google now but only as a delayed reference after having used other tools like Moz and Screaming Frog. We found all of our answers using these other tools. We just wait patiently to know that eventually we are in Google's good graces.

  • I think it will affect you because the search engines will not find texts associated with your website, that is to say the mototr will read the texts you have generated and if it is by javascript that text does not exist until there is an interaction with the user. The search engine will only read your code, not the text generated afterwards.

  • My feedback here is that if none of the content differs, and is all in the same language, then it makes most sense to point all those other domains to the one global site. But, if you have different products or information in the different countries, or if you are maintaining your site in multiple languages then the decision becomes whether to use separate domains, subdomains, or folder paths. All of those 3 approaches are valid, and each has pros and cons. But your question seems to be about whether or not to have a global site versus separate sites, and so my answer is that you should have one global site if you only maintain one language and the content/products are the same in all geographies.

  • Hi - Thanks for posting. Domain Authority is a proprietary Moz metric and should be consistent across all Moz offerings. In terms of improving your Domain Authority, with the information above in mind, it's best to look at both your on-page SEO to make sure you've covered the basics. Then you also want to look at your off-site SEO and building more links to your site. There are lots of different areas of Link Building to explore, from patching up broken links, improving your internal link profile, and content creation. Here is a great video by our founder Rand which goes over some easy link building tactics to get you started.
