  • What framework does your website use? WordPress? Just install Yoast SEO if it does and you will be set. This will integrate the social apis. You will also be able to validate your site for pinterest and google search console among others.

  • Hi Drew, If you have multiple canonical tags on a single page, Google will ignore both of them so you will definitely need to to remove the old canonical tag so there is only one on each page. But it sounds like you are trying to use canonical tags correctly to resolve these duplicate content issues.   • Thanks Chris - I have numerous solutions pertaining to SEO modification to keep in check with the non-spacing naming of vehicles - dynamic images naming and miner Alt Tag changes -  however I feared that was my only solution to wait for Google to acquire the new naming convention.  Thanks Chris!   • David, Because you can only have one ad account on Facebook this is common practice. Giving access to the add account to the client could compromise the ad campaigns that they are running for other clients. The client should be able to see the results of the ads from within their Facebook page under publishing tools. and under insights. However they will not be able to see the cost of each ad. The company should provide the invoices generated by facebook. These can be distributed by client if necessary.

  • This is a great question that many clients have asked me on several occasions. I really do not like any of the choices you have listed. You still risk duplicate content with option 1 as the teaser will still be mostly word for word then a link. If your content is that good they should produce their own content based on the subject and link to yours. This way they are producing fresh content that gives authority to your content.

  • I have seen this before in Moz Open Site Explorer and the "Links" section of a Moz Pro Campaign as well. This appears to be an error and I believe can happen when Moz OSE counts a 301 redirect or a URL shortener (like goo.gl) as a linking root domain, but not as an External Inbound Link. You are most likely still correct in your understanding if you were thinking that the linking root domain number is the total number of unique ".com's" that are linking to your website, where as the number of External Inbound Links are the total (according to Moz's data) number of links from all websites and pages, including all multiples on different ".com's".

  • This should be able to be edited in Google My Business. If you have the login information for the account this is linked to the Google Maps citation you are seeing, you should be able to login and edit the categories under the "Info" Tab. If you do not have the login information for it, search the business name in Google Maps, go to "Suggest An Edit" and click on the category listed, it should cross it out and then you can suggest a new category for Google to review. This way does not guarantee it will change, but is worth a shot if you don't have the information to login to their GMB account. Best of success!

  • Hi Martijn, Yes they are luckily. However, the twist in the tale is that the server had also been moved, so the 301s from non-https pages worked fine, but https pages gave off a browser security error as no SSL was installed on the new server that housed the htaccess file. An SSL is being installed as we speak, so hopefully that should solve the issue. Thanks for the response Daniel

  • Hi there, From what you are describing the first thought that came to me is a wrongly implemented relative URL. What I would do in this case: run a full crawl for the website with screaming frog (you will need a paid version) and make a bulk export for 404 inlinks via: Bulk Export -> Response Codes -> Client error (4xx) Inlinks. I would use that list to find a pattern in the anchor texts used to generate these kind of URLs. When you have found a pattern you can go digg into the source code of the pages where the links come from.   • If you are looking for just straight up "B2B Blogs" and not necessarily ones that focus on cleaning, check out these 10 at http://lrgmarketing.com/blog/10-b2b-blogs-we-like-to-read/. Not sure if this helps, but Igor's tip above is good and you can also search "top commercial cleaning blogs" or "best building maintenance blogs", etc.

  • Something could have been "created" 100 years ago, but only "Published" for the first time last month. I think datePublished is what you should use for articles, blog posts, etc... dateModified is also important for when you update the page to show it's fresh and needs to be re crawled and rendered. I wouldn't show any of them on the front end, though some people do prefer to see the Date Last Modified or Original Publish Date somewhere so they know if it's still relevant. It depends on the type of content you're publishing and if the topic moves quickly. If you want to provide the markup to search engines without showing it on the front end use JSON-LD.

  • Hey I know this is a few months old, but definitely agree with Martin above. It is not 100% necessary to have your brand name in the Meta Title of every single page on your website, but is good to have in there if it fits within the title's 60-70 characters. One of the best strategies with on-site SEO is to have a specific keyword phrase you would like the page to rank for in mind when creating or editing it. The Meta Title is very influential in rankings and it is definitely important to keep that in mind when writing them for your pages.   • Harini, you're asking a pretty broad question and the answer is likely a long a complex one only to be arrived at after careful analysis and consideration. That said, when I read your question I got the sense that you're focusing on on-page ranking factors only; that you may be forgetting about all the other things that go into boosting your rankings and conversions. For example, your site seems to be light on external backlinks compared to others competing for the same term (mobile app development company in India) and you seem to be using a mix of www and non-www URLs. If I've misunderstood, can you rephrase your question? You might get more specific responses.

So, do you redirected demo.website.com to website.com/demo or everything like demo.website.com/article/post123.html to website.com/demo/article/post123.html And the question is, maybe both is indexed. google something with inurl:seomoz.org - you would be suprised

  • Hello! You should check the actual status code of your custom 404 page - does it actually return a 404 Not Found? You can check in a variety of places: https://urivalet.com/ https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/googlebot-fetch Or install the Redirect Path plugin and it will show the status code in your browser.
