Google actually has a very good overview of creating XML video sitemaps.  You can create a sitemap for your videos even if they are hosted by YouTube. From the page: "Video content includes web pages which embed video, URLs to players for video, or the URLs of raw video content hosted on your site." You can add video extension tags in your existing site, or create a standalone sitemaps just for videos.  Also, you can submit the sitemap through the wonderful Webmaster Tools. Good luck!

PageRank is simple to understand. Your PR went to 1 because either: The highest pagerank of the linking page is now 2 instead of 4 what it used to be The highest pagerank of the linking page is higher than 2 but with excessive outgoing links splitting up PR too thin PR4 or higher link you had is gone or nofollowed You were selling links and got a filter reduction of pagerank to make it less atractive for purchase (unlikely as your PR is low anyway to start with). The highest pagerank page on your site is now a sub page (did you check?) That's all I can think of for now...

Hi Dejan, Thank you for answering my question. I was wondering on a scale of say 1 -100, how much link value would a duplicate content link have? Also does the link from the original article have normal link value, or does the orignal article get penalized with a duplicate link value as well?

Correct.  I double check all comments and follow them back to the owners site.  If the owners site is spam I typically report it.   So I think what you're saying is there isn't a downside providing your super diligent on monitoring the site...is that correct?

Hi Lewis, Thank you for the quick response. I have contacted 8/15 domains through whois and majority of them are people who are being hacked by unknown person who I think is doing all of it since the weird fake content is all related. The other people just never get back to me. I have sitemeter.com on there and it shows Google BOTS are scanning their URLS as part of my site though our URL has nothing in common. Won't this ruin my pagerank if they think this content is affiliated with them? There are no advertisements- I see no benefit other than to ruin the credibility of my site. Traffic (and income) is now down over 55% which is really too bad.  The content is unique and highly valuable to the target market. Any advice about why would be really appreciated.

Since it is a duplicate and meant for mobile devices, then yes, I would use a canonical tag or even noindex if you don't want it in the index anyway.  Either method would eliminate the duplicate content problem.
