Will a "no follow" "no index" meta tag resolve duplicate content issue?
Correct, you don't, but you don't want it ignored either. Use the canonical attribute to refer back to the original content and transfer authority and juice.

Does Google still see masked domains as duplicate content?
To my knowledge, yes. They have certainly evolved, but in my opinion their evolution would point only to the fact that they will see through masking tricks even better than they once did. I ran an experiment with an affiliate link in 2008, and because the domain I purchased was the exact match of a product (the owner was trying to brand his name with his domain instead of the product which people actually searched for), and my masked domain was ranked #1 for weeks! Shortly thereafter though, Google realized it was duplicate content, and while the experiment made over $1,000 in that time, the moral of the story is that they did catch on, and the rightful owner of the site reclaimed the #1 spot (and my masked domain got the boot just like it should have). If they were able to detect this 3 years ago in my little experiment, I would bet they could detect it now much faster, so in my opinion it would be best to avoid these tactics altogether.

If your analytics show you something like this, what is your next strategy?
I feel that your graphs look OK. The trend is nice, there is traffic and its coming from a variety of sources. I would gleen a bit more from the stats if I knew a bit more about your business and a relative timeline for which the data has been compiled. I would not worry..........

Long or Short URLs. Who's Coming to Dinner?
Agreed. The risk of losing juice from a redirect would keep me from moving forward. The only way that I would consider redirecting the old page is if the new page provides better and more relevant/current content. If you don't plan on improving the content and are only using duplicate content then there is no need to change the page or URL.

Home Page Indexing Question/Problem
After you make your changes, go into Google WM and re-submit your XML sitemap showing the new URLs. Make sure all old links (non-WWW) do point to the new pages as I think you have done. There will be a week or two of fluctuation. If your site if very popular, then the changes will happen quicker, if not, then slower.

We have been hit with the "Doorway Page" Penalty - fixed the issue - Got MSG that will still do not meet guidelines.
It could be that you're a little over-optimized. On this page for example: http://www.recoveryconnection.org/addiction/alcoholism.php Near the bottom, you have three anchor text links all near each other, all pointing to the same page of http://www.recoveryconnection.org/detox/alcohol-treatment-detox-programs.php

SEO Targeting: Ideal monthly keyword search volume?
I agree with EGOL, and would add, we have several successful SEO clients that if you look at the keyword volume of there services, it's to low to even show up. Bigger ticket, needs less volume. Smaller ticker, lot's of volume.

How much is my tweet worth to you?
Yes though it's going against me right now as I cannot Tweet. We've been sitting at AU $217.50 and no movement I will end the auction early and give the Tweet to the highest bidder. If anything we made two hundred bucks to our charity!

TLD vs Sub Domain in Regards to Domain Authority
Hi Kyle, That does sound strange - did you set up www.automation.datalogic.com as a Subdomain (as opposed to a Root Domain - see: http://pro.seomoz.org/campaigns/new) within the Campaign Manager set up?
