Tools to Eval Blog Content - Rate your Fav tool
I agree with EGOL here but if you want content evaluated and the best way is to put it out there through social and other forums for people to give you feedback. I got some really great feedback from this forum for example on my site recenly that I have been working on since nearly every day. Tools generally only take you to a certain point. If you are at the early stages of writing content and are reluctant to put it out in the main stream then use your email address book and ask for feedback on a few links from friends and if they are good friends they will help with some feedback. But ultimately it is the market that gives the best feedback and needs you to pump it out bit by bit. Copyblogger says write , then write some more then write some more again [paraphrased here a bit]

On Site Search
Several years ago we switched from Google search to Pico Search, the paid version. I also added domain masking, one time fee, for the search results to show as search.yourdomain.com. It is customizable to add your own search button, make the search results page match the rest of your site, add tweaks to the searches and so on. Their tech support has been excellent reaching a live person on the phone who answered my questions quickly, but I've only used it 2-3 times.

Problems with changing the page title on Wordpress Site...
Like Brian and Wayne say, Google does reserve the right to change title tags, and they do so even with big brands like Apple. Here are two posts about that: http://www.seroundtable.com/google-title-selection-12989.html http://www.seroundtable.com/google-title-tag-13704.html

Installing a site on top level domain directory VS deeper directory
Without server configuration, I'll take a stab at this. I see only one potentially significant issue: Inbound links. When someone links to the website, do you want to count on them linking www.site.com instead of www.site.com/catalog ? Shorter URLs are easier to remember and they can improve the direct type-in traffic. For navigational purposes, your server can resolve to the site homepage when the incomplete URL is entered into the browser, but a 301 redirect doesn't carry over all of the PR. Less significant is the superfluous term in your URL. Legend has it that shorter, simpler, more relevant keywords in your meta-data and URLs is the way to go. Will a single additional term drop you in the SERP? Highly unlikely. Most ecommerce sites have to use a similar format. If you don't have reasons of necessity, go with the short URL. 301 redirects (URL iterations 2,3,4,etc to a single URL format) should suffice for those site that have been live for some time.

Myblogguest how to get your articles out and about?
Hey! Sorry I am a bit too late on this one, but hopefully I can help! I think I have been fair, 500 words of unqiue content with 1 anchor text link in the body, thats it. Quite fair, but not exactly enough. The thing is, that's guest blogging and for bloggers to really want your content, you need to make it blog-friendly ("viral", in a way). MyBlogGuest is no different from the whole Internet in this respect. Some topics always do well and get attention. Usually these topics get picked in no time here: Facebook Twitter Apple Google So if you want to get quick offers, consider changing the focus towards the above topics. You can easily do that almost with any niche. For example, if you are into "loans": Free iPhone Apps to Quickly Calculate Your Loans HOW TO: Use Google Shortcuts to Estimate Your Loan etc If you add some screenshots, CC-attributed images, etc, your articles will be picked in no time! I hope that helps!

Googlebot crawling partial URLs
This is why I love this forum. We recently started seeing these urls in our GWT report. We have hundreds of truncated urls that end in "..." that go nowhere. We can't figure out where these are coming from. We thought it could be G's relatively new privacy policy w/ not passing along the data, but we're not sure. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Thanks!

Clarification from old seomoz post
Hi, First, when you type "Clear browser cache" in the Address Bar of Google Chrome while on Google, it does NOT clear the cache, but offers you 3 pre loaded Search result pages to choose from - one for each browser. The result page for each provides a list of sites with instructions on how to clear the cache for the browser you choose. In IE, again it does NOT clear the cache, sends you straight to the results page for IE, but in the latest version of Firefox it does not work at all. You can easily check this yourself in your own browser. USER AGENT = Browser type (Chrome, Firefox, IE) Hope that helps. Sha

FB Like and G+ on page transferred ?
Far as I can tell, you will loose the Likes. This bug report has more info: http://bugs.developers.facebook.net/show_bug.cgi?id=18198 From what I gather, if you leave the old URL in the button, it will continue to show the old count on the new page, but if someone Likes the new page it will count for the new page and not increment the old counter... I could be wrong, but that says to me that they are treating them as two separate pages, each with its own stats. I'm not sure how Google handles this, but if I had to guess, I would guess they are in the same boat. Someone else here may have more info on that though Brian

File from godaddy.com
I'm guessing it's a report from GoDaddy related to the Search Engine Visibility package? See a few more details at http://www.godaddy.com/search-engine/seo-services.aspx and that might explain it.

Site architecture for multiple geo-targeted keywords?
Well, with search engines you do not want to be too many clicks away from the index page. 2 or 3 at most would be best. so if you can start out with a page that has no more than 100 internal links and each of those pages has no more 100. That would give you 10000 pages. Each would be no more than 2 clicks away. name each page graphics-design-richmond-va.html this would put all the keywords in the pages name. Which might help a bit depending who you ask. You can keep all the pages in the root directory. So you would have 10000 in the root. Some dont recommend this but Ive never had a problem.

Bad neighborhood linking - anyone can share experience how significant it can impact rankings?
You could surely be penalized. If you really must link to them for some reason use nofollow at least

Multiple blogs for seo
You are correct. The more links you get from a website, the less important future links become. However, at least the first 3, or 4 links from that site will be worth a lot of links juice. If I were you, I would try to write up to 5 unique articles per site, all with unique anchor text (watch this weeks white board friday video) Point most of the links to your home page, and a couple of them toward important internal pages. I would say that mixing up the landing pages will help a little, but make sure your links go to related and relevant pages. Remember, inbound marketing is all about getting high quality traffic., If your articles are accomplishing that goal, go for it, even if the link value isn't high.

Linkbuilding help discussion
Agreed, if you hire a third party, you can never fully be aware of the who/what you're getting for your dollar. I would point to the most recent mess involving J.C. Penny for an example of what can happen if there is poor oversight. Even if you do pay or hire a "reputable" company, there is still the potential for mistakes if the work is not closely monitored. Unfortuantely, link-building is a tedious, tiresome, often thankless task! Before you decide to hire someone, be sure to look at all of your personal resources for linking opportunities: customers, vendors, professional contacts, friends who blog, etc. These might be easier and more reliable sources for potential links than hiring a temp, etc.
