Just a thought...would it be more beneficial just to use a 301 redirect to redirect the domain to my main domain name? Would it retain the link domain authority?

As Zachary says, these results are personalised. The best way to check is to use incognito in Google and Private browsing in Firefox whilst being logged out of your google account. This should remove any personalisation from your searches.

Thanks, I did not know that.  So, if they visit one page and return to Google, that's a bounce, but if they visit one page and click through, that's not a bounce, right?  How far does that go?  Does Google know if I sent someone to a useful site vs a spammy site?  Is it partly a timing issue?  In other words, if they visit my site and then don't return to Google for a while vs returning immediately, is that one of their metrics? Not sure if back links from sites like hub pages carry the same weight anymore. IMO Google has gotten wise to article spamming to generate back links. Personally I would concentrate on producing great content and articles on your own site. Give people a reason to link to the site

He should write the article on Monday and then post a tweet and link on Facebook on Friday. If his blog posts are permitted into Google News, he may want to wait until Friday, since freshness matters most in Google News. In any event, the client's content and link building efforts are the tools to get good rankings and it doesn't really matter what day the articles are posted.

1. Typically Google will display the result that they feel to be the legitimate source. However, I have had pages with stolen content appear higher in the SERPs because the website had a higher domain or page authority. 2. Duplicate content is never a pretty picture, and yes it can hurt your rankings. It can hurt them by having multiple pages from your website removed from the Google index if they have been flagged as duplicates.

I would suggest Social Bookmarking the new pages that you have created and I think you'll be surprised at what will happen, something so simple. Have you updated your sitemap as well?

It's a waiting game at this point. If they don't find problems then ask for reinclusion again. Wait 24 hours between asking for reinclusion & seeing if Google reports new problems.
