Google disavow file
To the best of my knowledge Google will read it pretty regularly (every day/several days). However, Google takes several weeks until the disavow request is processed

Restructuring Areas of a Website
Your internal link structure does help your rankings, but the way I see this, there's not going to be any change to the pages that are actually ranking, right? If you remove the page that didn't rank for the keywords anyway, It shouldn't impact the rankings of the other pages. There are a couple of factors to take into account when you do this: Don't forget to 301 the link to, for example, the level above, in this case /key/, so that direct/referral traffic to that page doesn't get 404'd. Is there a lot of traffic on the /cupboards-lockers/ page now? If so, how does this traffic behave, does it flow towards the other pages before converting or do they convert on this page? How is the UX (bounce rate, time on page, exit rate etc.)? These factors can help you determine what you should do with which page. Make sure there are no other dead ends in your page: check the sitemap and scrape your site with, for example, Screaming Frog to prevent any 404's from showing up. Make sure there are no products assigned to that page specifically, creating an odd URL structure on product level or a breadcrumb with missing or dead links. Hope this helps!

What is the problem with my site? Rankings are going down, not sure why.
I am not sure if you are using all the tools, Moz offers but here is something I looked at and took 5 minutes. I used one of your keywords that you want to rank for - furniture movers melbourne I then took from the SERP Analysis, the top two websites. Then in the keyword analysis, I used your website domain and did entire root. THen added two of your competitor's websites. You will see all the keywords everyone ranks for. When you go to their websites, it seems they have a lot more content than you. Maybe start adding more content about the services built around your keywords. 2cdhhLG.jpg MCSNbK4.jpg FU3g82z.jpg

How to hide our duplicate pages from SERP? Best practice to increase visibility to new pages?
You absolutely do not want to use the remove URL tool in Search Console!! Since those old subdomain pages have been ranking and earning traffic and authority in the SERPs, it would be a huge mistake to just throw that all away. Instead, you must use 301-redirects to point those old page URLs to the new page you've created on the main site that you now wish to earn that traffic. The authority and ranking power of the old pages will transfer to the new ones. It's like being told you can choose to start the race from the starting line, or you can be given a 25-yard head start with a tailwind. Take the head start - redirect the old pages. A side effect of the 301 redirects is that after a period of time, the search engines will stop indexing the old pages, so they'll drop out of the SERPs eventually. Hope that helps? Paul

My Lawyer Star-Ratings Won't Show on SERP
+1 on Tim's response Also noticed that you're missing "" around your review text ("reviewBody": Fantastic firm. We immediately felt welcome, relaxed, and confident about our case.,)–if there are any errors in your schema markup, that'll prevent Google from displaying it.

The best Certification for Marketers
Yes I know and I get your point, I never went to any university, school or even a simple course, and never get any client based on a certification. So Im agree with you on that But that is not my point, my point is I want to grow and looking for the best way to do it. That is why I'm asking. The idea of a Certification is not invented by me or any other marketer, was made it by the companies. Google certifies both companies and individuals. Premier Partner is not the same as a Partner. Microsoft is the same case,It certifies both companies and individuals. Bing, Azure, Developers Cisco, Sap or Oracle are even worst, you will not sell any product of them if you don't have a complete team tranined by them no matter how many experience you claim you already have. Hubspot, Optimizely, Shopify, Amazon So getting back to my point AMA or OMCP are relevant in the industry? yes or not and why? Are those relevant for any decision maker? I mean if an HR Manager is looking for a Marketer will use those certifications as a factor. In case that none certification or course is useful, which strategy should I follow, in order to outstand over competitors? Don't come to me with the idea of Create a personal website, with a really good content, create a link building campaign and outreach.....hahahahahah don't make me laugh is the same thing everyone can do with a tutorial on Lynda or Udemy

Category Page as Shopping Aggregator Page
Hi Ramon van den Ende, Thank you for your reply. Good to see that someone else had the same thoughts. I agree this certainly is gaming the system but isn't that what we as SEO's have been doing since the start I do think that in practice it would work but again to to your point how long would it last for before big G cottons on and decides to stop showing the results. This is exactly the kind of discussion I was after. Alex

Http to https - Have we done it correctly?
The big problem is your redirection. At the moment, you DO NOT redirect people on the https website. Read more about the changes you have to make here -> https://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection. Basically, if you run on Apache, you need to modify your htaccess file and everyone who lands on the non-ssl version should be redirected to the https one. A quick Google search will give you examples of rules to include in your file. For example: https://uk.godaddy.com/help/redirect-http-to-https-automatically-8828. In terms of the questions you asked: you should modify the settings of the website and set the https as the preferred version. You shouldn't have two different sitemaps. The non-ssl one should not even work (it should be redirected as mentioned above) Of course your robots.txt version should include the https links. Again, the one without them should be already redirected. Hope this helps.

Fetch and render partial result could this affect SERP rankings [NSFW URL]
Hi Gemma, We are having EXACTLY the same issue. We keep appearing and disappearing for some keywords (while the URL is still indexed). Also in your case when we appear we are on page 1 so its not a ranking fluctuation issue - its something else. Did you manage to figure out what it was? It would be really helpful for us. Thanks, Faraz

Our partners are using our website content for their websites. Do such websites hurt us due to duplicate content?
Well the general answer is... yes, that can hurt you for sure if you're trying to rank. There's MANY ways duplicate content can hurt you. We had a competitor duplicate our content recently... we sent a well written letter informing them they had 48 hours to take the website down or we would take legal action. They took that website down in about two hours and apologized, stating it was a developer they hired that used our website as a template. If multiple partners are using the same content and your not currently ranking... your best option is to write fresh unique optimized content. If you're ranking with your current content... then going after every partner duplicating your content might be the better option.

Optimizing PDF Viewers for SEO: Issuu vs Flippingbook vs Dual Option
From my experience, Flipping Book works well for SEO. It provides HTML 5 content which you can integrate into your website. This will help with the time spent on the page and with content as well. Therefore, what I would suggest is to implement the HTML versions and then offer a download button for the PDF. I think the users will enjoy this change and it will be good for crawlers as well. You can see an example of our implementation here -> https://www.catalog-az.ro/. Let me know if my answer helps.

Adwords disapproving ads with the word "Jewish"?
We have an ad grant through Google, so it's free ad money that we'd like to use. Facebook's ad platform seems to be working fine and we use that as well.
