  • Hello! I wanted to make you a screen video as it's a bit more nuanced, here's the link: https://www.useloom.com/share/ebddf32363444e6a9cbc2ddfab639612 (Sorry for my voice- had a cold!) It's 5mins, definitely watch! But in very brief summary - Google is ranking two types of content: property listing style pages, and articles. You can have two pages - one of each type and they won't cannibalize each other.

  • I agree with Steve that there is a lot of flux in SEMrush lately.   My take on much of the flux is below..... SEMrush Position tracking is showing a lot of false flux lately for a couple of reasons. 1)  They don't identify your position in the SERPs and report it as "not in top 100".  If you click to see the cache that they used to obtain the rankings your domain is there. 2)  Google has been inserting and removing a link to the image results at the top of many SERPs.   "Images for [your query]"   When present, SEMrush is counting this link to the image results as position #1 and the result is all results below are pushed down one position.  When not present, all of the results below move up one position.  You don't notice this very much in your visibility score if you are on the second page.  However, if you have keywords that rank in the top three or four it can make a huge change in your visibility score. And...   Google does seem to be experimenting a bit and even losing track of a few pages for the keywords that they typically rank for.   So, yes there is a little more flux in Google, but the number changes in many of the tools are a result of contaminated data and bad data collection.

  • Hey Paul, I'm so sorry that I just now saw your question. So, a "duplicate" listing is a listing that shares identical or near-identical NAP with another listing. Co-located businesses aren't duplicates if they have different names and phone numbers. That being said, if Co-located businesses share a category, then Google may filter one of the them out of the local packs, per the "Possum" effect.

  • Hey Tom, Dave here from the Help team! How you setup these campaigns is really up to the preferences of how filtered you want your reports to be.  If you decide the track specific subfolders as campaigns, you will also want to make sure that you still track the entire domain of staypineapple.com to incorporate all the other elements of the site.  Hopefully that helps to clarify, let us know if you need anything else!

  • Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. Yep — looks like you've canceled your free trial, so you're all set. You'll still have access to the tools and all your data for the full 30-day trial period, but after that your access will end and your card will not be charged. Hope that helps! • Hi, If page A and page B have different structured data, and there is a canonical from page B to page A, then theoretically only structured data on page A will be used. So if possible, include the structured data from page B on page A. thanks

  • Let's be clear, one thing is to get your page indexed by Google and other is get your page ranked I assume that you made your homework declaring those locations to Google You updated your sitemap in Search Consoles You update location’s name, address, and phone number (NAP) Location-specific content (staff information, testimonials, news, etc.) An embedded Google Map for each location You update your schemas making your life easier and Crawler too. You should also optimize your content, title tags, meta descriptions, etc. with location-specific keywords. Apply a local business schema markup to each page so your business hours and other important information can appear in search results. Lastly, make sure these pages are discoverable by Google. Google’s crawlers aren’t always able to find a page that’s only available through a search or branch finder on your site. If you made all of that.... well base in my experience in 2 or 3 months you will see everything running smooth. But depends on the niche and competitions. In the past, I made the migration from one domain to another and it was easy (one month or less )because there were small hotels in small towns with no competitions but in other case took me months

  • Hello Ruth, Thank you for your answer about the wine tasting. I just got a quick question. For an expression like "Sicily bike tours" when you do your related keyword research with keyword explorer do you split the expression by doing a research for "Sicily" and look for related keywords and then you do "bike tours" and look for related keywords Or Do you do the entire expression ? Sicily bike tours and look for the related keywords for the entire expression. Thank you,

  • Hey David! Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the confusion here! Unfortunately we do not support some custom Top Level Domains (TLD) such as .CHAT or .DATING - this would explain why there's no data for this site in our Index I'm afraid, it's just a limitation of our tool. I know we plan to expand the list of TLDs we support and are in the process of doing so, but I'm not sure what kind of timeframe we can expect before all new TLDs will be supported. You can find the current list of TLDs that we do support here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/publicsuffix/list/abde055b790f9577d02116da8c819838248a9258/public_suffix_list.dat You can read more about our link data on our guide here. If you have any other questions feel free to let me know! Eli

  • all depends on what you have, I mean if you want to rank a domain from scratch could take a couple of months if your subdomain has relevant links maybe you should use it if not use then new domain will require the same time and effors.

  • Canonicals can pass link juice (see Dr. Pete's comment here), but it's at Google's discretion. I've seen it go both ways. The best way is to only link the one version you've chosen as the canonical. I'm not familiar with Magento - is that something that you can change easily? I think it'd be worth the time you'd invest in making that change.
