I have never used it, but I have heard a few people mention that they like it in local meet ups and things like that. For a blogging platform you are not going to get much better than wordpress. It might have the problems that wordpress blogs normally have with some of the indexed pages, but those are easily solved. The good thing I hear about the module is that you are running a full featured wordpress installation, not a sandboxed type. So it is basically like running wordpress with a magento connector.

LindaLV, we were actually going to 301 from the path to the subdomain (no content at the path). Could you explain a bit more about how subdomain-to-path 301-redirects would work? Would they not just end up somewhere where there is no content? Lesley, we use IIS so not htaccess issues as such but, yes, we were having problems in that area. Thank you both!

Does the platform you are using let you select a default category for the product? Several platforms will let you select multiple categories and make you chose one as a default category. If so, you can just work off the uri of the page and insert the default category as the canonical category in the rel=canonical.

Hi Ray, Sorry to bug you again. I installed the conversion code on the one unique thank you page and the campaign is not picking it up. I used the Google Tag manager to verify it and it is set ok. Like others have said I can't find any links to your site. All three of Opensiteexplorer, ahrefs and Majesticseo show 0 links to http://www.lodgmate.com/. You are being indexed by Google, so that's a start but you need to at least have some sort of link profile to start ranking. You may want to start social profiles even if they have only a couple posts on them, just to get some links pointed at your site. These links are generally of pretty low value but they may help to get you to rank at all. Also I noticed that your homepage has a canonical setup to http://www.lodgmate.com/default.asp which should probably be reversed so that http://www.lodgmate.com/default.asp has a canonical to  http://www.lodgmate.com/. It looks like google is ignoring the canonical anyways, but it's still probably a good idea.

I think you might have lost a slight advantage now that your domain name does not contain your primary keyword phrase. I'm not saying having your primary keyword phrase in the domain name is the b-all, end-all, but it helps. Try putting more content on the page. It's pretty thin now, especially compared to the current top ranking sites. You're short on links too, and going up against some pretty big hitters. Try getting some direct links to your Japanese Spicy Mayo page. See if those two things help. Meantime, I agree with Jim McKaye. Stick with it. The dust hasn't completely settled.

Thanks for all the responses. I did end up fixing it with a rewrite rule after setting up cheap hosting on GoDaddy and made sure the domain was redirecting with a 301. This is how it was working before. What had changed was the client's desire to have everything on Yahoo due to his email and Yahoo told him it would fix his flaky email issues. He has resigned himself to transitioning his email away from Yahoo and all is well again. Who knew that Yahoo only does 302 redirects! Seriously?!

Thanks for the response. In the old Google Places, if you managed multiple accounts, reporting was easy. An image is attached of what it used to look like. In the current My Business view, impressions and actions are gone from the summary page. I'm looking for a dashboard that will give me the same type of data for all 300 locations as the screenshot attached. Best, Adam bulk-google-places-listings.png

Thanks a lot So am I right thinking that if one campaign is for website in overall and the other for a specific product page, the overall will show cumulative links, traffic etc but the product specific one only for the page I specified at the point of setting the campaign right? Thank you
