Thank you for your advice JMcKaye! We tried that one and I guess it isn't compatible with our site/code for some reason...
Thanks again
Hello,We can't seem to find a good auto generator sitemap program for our site. We tried using XMLsitemaps and GSiteCrawler, and both haven't worked well for us. Does anyone have any recommendations on a program? Or if anyone else had issues with Gsitecrawler and if you have any advice on solutions? Thanks!!
Hello - I have a client that has their Google Plus and YouTube under separate Google accounts. My thoughts are that it'd be best for SEO and awareness with Google that their active YouTube channel to be under their active Google Plus account. My question is: Is it recommended for SEO that we upload the videos to her prominent Google business account (they only have about 100 subscribers)? If we did this we would delete them from the other account to avoid dup. content. We are in a position where we can make this change easily if it is recommended and good for SEO--which I would think it would be. So we would like to know now if we should make this change before we grow the YouTube channel further, or if we should leave it how it is.
Any insight would be very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you so much Aggie! We're going to try this out.
Hi Everyone,
I am wondering how to claim authorship for doctors while still using their title "MD." Adding MD to Google Plus profiles goes against Google name policy, but in order to comply with the FTC we need to include "MD" to our doctor's name in our article by-lines. I have sent in many appeals with evidence that they have a degree. I also considered creating a "Google Page," but had the impression that you cannot claim authorship with rel=author tags with a "Google Page," only rel=publish. Can anyone help me figure out how to claim authorship for a doctor using (first name last name), MD ?
That's how I understand it as well, but this is the part I am a bit confused about:
"In addition, search engine algorithms divide the value of some popularity metrics by the amount of links on a given page. This means that each of the pages being linked to from a given page are also affected by the number of links on the linking page."
I definitely don't have 100 plus links on my pages, but I am being told that I do. What am I missing?
Thanks!
Hi Everyone,
I have a question of how the on-page links are being counted. Say you have a page with a warning of having too many on page links (100+). How are all of these links counted? Let's say there are only 5 links on that page. Do the links on each of those pages count too and so on and so forth?
I just want to make sure I have wrapped my head around this correctly.
Thanks!
Hi Everyone,
I am really new to the SEO world (having come from paid search), so if this is a stupid question, I apologize.
I noticed in Webmaster Tools that the top 25 keywords or so that Google thinks my site is about are keywords pulled from our references pages. Our site has a ton of authoritative content, most of which have corresponding reference pages with overlapping sources. Is this a problem? I am a little concerned that the keywords Google thinks are the most relevant to my site are really the least relevant.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks!
nina
