How to fix Medium Priority Issues by mozpro crawled report??
It's all going to depend on your CMS, but if you are looking to understand what is being referenced, right click on a page on your site and select view source, the search for meta. The meta property description is what should be there (almost all CMS's allow you to edit this). Your page title should be much shorter, and you shouldn't have multiple pages with the same title. Again, nearly every CMS makes this very easy to edit.

Whats the Best Link Building Strategy for News Sites
It doesn't really matter as long as it is high authority sites. Getting your news quoted by another major news site is always a big plus. We once got quoted on Yahoo which not only brought us a buttload of traffic, but also gave us a solid link back which boosted our authority. With news sites, its all about the content, and I have to say with 3 editors, you should be popping out a lot more than 5 articles. That's a pretty low amount for a news site. I can work alone for an hour a day and do more than that. On a side note, if you'd like to write a summary of a news story in 150 words, and submit it to me, I can put this on the relevant SearchBuzz Media website that I run, and have you listed as the original source - it's a completely genuine link back. Email me if interested - info@searchbuzzmedia.com

Shoemaker with ugly shoes : Agency site performing badly, what's our best bet?
Ahh I get it now, redirect every URL from the old site to its homepage. Makes sense! For point 2) I meant the URL Removal tool to de-index the whole site but this would no longer be needed if I apply the above suggestion. Thanks a bunch!

How long does it take for you to get a score of 100 on MOZ/local?
Hello! I'm afraid there isn't a specific timeline that can be measured for listings to complete updates as there are a lot of moving parts involved with data propagation through multiple aggregators. Processing times can vary. Generally when submitting a listing through Moz local, it can take 4-8 weeks for our partners to update. For services we are not in partnership with, those would require an update manually and their processing times could take weeks or months to complete.

I could not find a support number for Moz on your site
Hi Chris, We actually only very rarely remove questions in Q&A. In this case, four different users have volunteered their time to answer the question, and removing the question would be Moz removing their time and effort from the community. You can edit the title of your question and the content of the question, but the replies will remain. It will also help users in the future who may have a similar question. Thanks for understanding! Keri

How will I know if my csv file was uploaded correctly?
Hi, If it uploaded you'll either see it under "Ready to be published" or "Validation Needed". If you're still having issues I would recommend submitting a ticket to us here https://moz.com/help/contact. I would have the csv attached so that we can take a look at what's going on. Steffany

Unique meta descriptions for 2/3 of it, but then identical ending?
You don't get penalized for duplicate meta descriptions. You could have every one on your site the exact same, it won't matter. It doesn't impact rankings. It impacts how likely a searcher is to click through to your website.

Moving half my website to a new website: 301?
I would say Yes, if you make sure you're redirecting the right pages to the working URLS on the other site you should be fine. Also make sure that sitemaps are updated as Google won't like redirects within a sitemap.

Added 301 redirects, pages still earning duplicate content warning
How long ago did you add the redirects? As with many SEO changes, you'll need to give Google time to recrawl and reindex your site. This can take several weeks in some cases, and even then, it will sometimes take multiple recrawls for Google to entirely index the changes. This assumes everything else was done correctly and nothing else is causing the duplicate content warnings.

Is it better to have an hreflang go to the home page in a different language if there's no corresponding page
If an English page doesn't have an equivalent Spanish page, it's best not to include hreflangs. Hreflangs need to be bi-directional, meaning if site.com/en/a.html hreflangs to site.com/es/a.html, then site.com/es/a.html also needs to hreflang to site.com/en/a.html. This can't be done if you refer the homepage. I'd make a note to add them later when pages are translated.

Search traffic down 30% this month
Thanks for the good info. I don't see any warnings in Webmaster Tools but it does look like about 30 pages we un-indexed right around the time we launched the re-design. Q3A2oyt.png

The dreaded drop
Hi Bruce, thanks for responding again, no we're not running adwords, we have some products that google doesn't like. I've looked through the sources, it's literally just the google traffic that's died a death, although in general the conversion rate on the traffic is abysmal, circa 1% when my site is more like 3% for very similar products..

Wrapping my head around an e-commerce anchor filter issue, need help
If you are worried that Google follows filter links, you can rel=nofollow those links and include a rel=canonical tag. See this article on faceted navigation: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.ca/2014/02/faceted-navigation-best-and-5-of-worst.html My understand is that http://makeupaddict.me/6-skin-care#/price-391-1217 will be seen and interpreted as http://makeupaddict.me/6-skin-care. Filtered pages should be seen and interpreted as their unfiltered pages. This being said, I would compare how both pages looks like in Webmaster Tools using the Fetch as Googlebot tool. This will tell you how it sees the filtered page. Ben

Google My Business
If you set up "rel=publisher" and link it to your G+ page this will help. See some examples I set-up here: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=the+body+matters https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=ddr+surrey These are not big brands, just well optimised for local search. Help here: http://blog.woorank.com/2014/06/how-to-implement-rel-publisher-tag/
