What's the best approach to campaigns?
Most people organize their Moz Analytics campaigns around one website or web property. Each campaign can only look at and crawl data from one website and then you add the associate social media accounts (if you have those) to that campaign. Unfortunately, right now, we don't have the flexibility to group campaigns together if you say you had 4 campaigns with 2 sites about dogs and 2 sites about cats, you couldn't pull combined metrics about how your cat sites were doing as a grouping. If you do have needs that are outside the flexibility of our campaigns, we'd love to hear from you about what you're looking for and how you're trying to use our software in our feature request forum. How do I interpret Duplicate Content in a Crawl Report, when it only gives me a URL? How do I know what is duplicated on that page somewhere else?
When on the crawl diagnostic page there is the column that says the number of duplicate URLs. If you hover over the little i symbol then the popup will show the other URLs. Also, if you download the CSV of the report there is a column called Duplicate Page Content which lists the URLs. Edit: Unless I completely misinterpreted what you were asking and you want to know how to find out the exact words or meta that is the same across them all. In which case, Moz usually only picks up duplication of Title Tags, Meta Description and the actually page content. So if they're flagged as duplicates its just a matter of reading the pages or giving them a quick glance to see how similar they are.

Why can't I add more than one campaign in my trial version of MOZ?

Any suggestions to shorten my learning curve?
Hi John & Matt, Matt did a great job of giving you the links to how to use the tools. I thought one thing that might be helpful if it's your first week is running a crawl test it comes back a lot faster than running a campaign it just hit me that it might be of use to you here's the link you simply place your domain into The box and it will email you the crawl test showing any errors with the website very useful tool for quite a few things. I love crawl test that Matt recommended it's a very good thing to start off with https://moz.com/researchtools/crawl-test I think any as he should have one additional tool in their toolbelt and it's free this is a great tool that spoken about quite a bit by Moz & I added a guide that is very helpful just something I thought would be helpful to anyone conducting seo I use it with screaming frog SEO spider http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/seo-spider/ Free for the base 500 pages & http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-guide I think it's a real help with the use of the Moz tools (they are the best) this just adds to it. Creating a Campaign Issue: Not Valid URL (URL Doesn't Resolve?)
Hey Ignacio, It looks like you were able to get a campaign created with out the www, but I did some investigating to make sure there wasn't an issue with www.veinguys.com. I also received the invalid URL error the first time I attempted to create a campaign for the site, but the second time just a minute later, I was able to create a campaign for www.veinguys.com with no error. It seems the site may be having intermittent issues with response time. I would recommend contacting the webmaster and looking into the server logs to see what may be causing a long response time for the site. I hope this information helps. Was changing some keywords worth it?
Thanks for the answers, guys! I got it now... I guess it is not that simple to answer my question. If it was easy to measure which keywords are "the best" it would be simpler, but (on the other hand) less interesting D.

What is the "other" group in traffic to your site on the moz dashboard ?
This is a great question. Recently Google started hiding the traffic details from everyone, which is why you see "not provided" in the details. Everyone was affected by this, and we are trying to work with them to get this data type back. I hope this helps shed some light on what you are seeing here. I know this is odd and not extremely valuable information now, but we are always working on improving this process and are very open to suggestions and feedback just like this.

How to add bulk keywords to keyword rankings
Hello! The rankings update are on a weekly cycle so when you add new keywords it can take 1 or 2 cycles depending on when they were added. For example if your rankings are collected on Mondays and you add new keywords on that same Monday or Tuesday, they will appear in the next collection cycle the following Monday. If you add them on a Friday or within 72 hours, you may miss the update and they will be delayed another week. The earlier you can add keywords, the better. While waiting you can request an instant report through ranktracker.moz.com Hope this helps!

Moz Analytics - Custom Report Question
Hi Paul When you are in the edit & schedule email section of the report there is a customize email option at the bottom: http://www.screencast.com/t/OaMFhUewEJ0U Alternatively you can create a template to send a more customized email with your own rich-formatting that you can use to manually email the reports once they are ready. I know a few customers are using this way to send their reports until we can add more custom options in the future. Moz Analytics is technically not in beta as we are only missing the monthly timeframe options which is built and currently in testing stages.

Duplicate Pages...where are both URLs?
Hi Derek Dennis provided a good tip! You can also download the csv report to see more detail as the first column will show the page we crawled and there will be a column for all duplicate pages. Hope this helps!

Analytics stats not showing up in MOZ Campaign report
Hi Derek! Thank you so much for writing in! I looked into your account, and I have an answer for you. When you first create a campaign we do a rush collection to gather data. However, anything added after the fact will update on a weekly basis. You added this GA account a few days after you created your campaign. After the initial rush collection, your data will update weekly on the same weekday (+1 day) you created your account. You created this campaign on 1/28/14 (a Tuesday), which means your data should update by 12:00 am PST on Wednesdays. I'm sorry for any confusion that caused, and you should see updated data by EOD tomorrow! I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers, Erin

Moz Analytics - Custom Report Question
Hello Sam, Thanks for the answer, I just got your support ticket reply too! Please do forward it, there are two things that I would suggest for this application: 1. Brand Manager - I'm also an SEO re-seller, so I have to change my logo often, brand managers make my life my easier. 2. Report Templates - This would be useful for all, there are many types of reports I like to run, creating them repeatedly is not very fun however. Thanks again Sam, all the best

In Open site explorer the page title and Url show in the left hand column. Why do some of my pages have no data for page title?
Hi Debbie! Generally NO DATA means we either have not crawled the pages or there is a re-direct in place (301, 302) Just so you know, here's how we compile our index: We grab the most recent index. We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains). We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 90,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index). Therefore, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update) then it won't show up in our index. Mozscape focuses on a breadth-first approach. Therefore we almost always have content from the homepage of websites, externally linked-to pages, and pages higher up in a site's information hierarchy. However, deep pages that are buried beneath many layers of navigation are sometimes missed and it may be several index updates before we catch all of these. Hope this helps!

Can not add another campaign
Hi There! You may have reached your page crawl limit set for your account. You will need to lower your page limit for each campaign to be closer to the actual amount of pages you have.
