How many FaceBook likes do I need to start making a difference?
On a related note, keep an eye on the YouMoz blog. Next week there's a post coming up about how to market the experts in your field who aren't necessarily a big deal on the internet.

Can we publish two guest posts on one domain with same pen name but different linking website?
I feel it would depend on the nature of the posts. I am the one who is in charge of YouMoz posts for SEOmoz. I'm happy to post two great posts from the same author that link to different URLs, provided they are great posts and it's a relevant link. If I see a post that starts out with "While I was talking with my coworkers at my custom shoe design store I thought of this great way to do x" and a second post with "I went to the mall and someone commented on my sparkly shoes and it made me think of y" neither are getting posted as-is because it's just a forced link drop that has no relevance to the post.

Can anything be done for a single brand page on a corporate site?
A display ad targeting that landing page might be useful if you are targeting people to learn about the brand outside direct searches.

PPC effecting personalisation and thus future personalised SERP's
PPC and organic ranking does NOT go together. Read as little or as much into that as you want.

Long term risks of using .org for commercial websites
To be honest, I would be more likely to click a branded domain over the EMD. From what you have said there is numerous EMD domains on the first page meaning it is likely that users will ignore and think of them as spammy. I'm not basing this on any facts so don't quote me on it or anything but I am speaking from my own experience and how I know my friends and family think. Thanks.

Google+ Pages and an unknown owner...how do I claim it or get it removed?
I reported our Company's old account, which was controlled by a former owner, and put up a new one. The old one was deleted within a week of the request. I tried to claim it to no avail for a couple weeks before creating the new one. Hope that helps!

How to leverage blog articles?
You're not looking for sites -- you're looking for people. Develop relationships with influencers in your industry, get your awesome content in front of them, and they may share/retweet/link/discuss it. You can also try Reddit and StumbleUpon, but those are more of a crapshoot.

Developing location pages
I agree mostly with those above stating dont build a new web site. Just to be different though - another option is a local sub domain. e.g. chicago.yourwebsite.com. This has advantages such as keyword in the domain name, it receives some link juice from the root domain and depending on your keywords you could get your root domain and sub domain in the same search results. That said I have actually advised against this in the past as a sub folder on the root domain still has more chance of ranking well than the sub domain for lots of reasons I wont go into now.

How To Rebrand A Company In The Eyes of Google?
Rather than ask them to take the links down, would it not be better to ask them to change the anchor text, would also pose a good opportunity to diversify your keywords and get a few naked urls in there. Depends largely on the number of links you are dealing with. Also build new links to reduce the ratio at the same time.

Are there any companies out there that can do Search Retargeting on a local level? I'd like to target a Metro area, or even a large city.
Excited to hear how it goes, best of luck to you

Does search demand=search results?
Interesting question. I would say, sometimes, but it's a complicated puzzle. Regarding "what Google is giving them", though, Google's autosuggest feature has a ranking algorithm for those long-tail phrases all it's own. You might start searching for Godaddy.com after they have a big outage, and see: godaddy down godaddy outage godaddy sucks godaddy ruined my life And in time, that junk goes away if people stop searching and creating content like that, and you see more: godaddy reviews godaddy coupons godaddy phone number The meatier, incentivized phrases, like 'godaddy coupons' are going to be loaded up with affiliate sites looking to make a buck. 'Godaddy phone number' searches? Not so much. There are good scientific estimations of the actual search demand (total searches per AdWords) and supply (competitiveness in AdWords spend, domain authority on the page 1 results). You really have to attach a real marketing persona to each search phrase though, and realize that someone that searches for the latter has most likely already converted for them. And when we get into reputation management, yes, it is hard. I've seen a few situations with rogue ex-employees that new how to manipulate autosuggest with repetitive searching and anchor text links to their ugly reviews. I've seen plenty of examples of people like scaminformer and ripoff report extorting those that are being attacked, when in reality, most of their "ripoffs" are either totally fake and posted in huge successions by the same individual, or at best, a typical "1 star" review of someone that was annoyed at the moment. But it doesn't make the life of a brand any easier, and those that don't make the effort to build up positive buzz around other phrases like 'review' and 'events' and 'webinars' and such will have by far the most money lost when a ORM scenario pops up. Hope that helps.

Where's the best place to publish video testimonials?
I would publish them on YouTube and ensure that you provide a link to your company website in the video description. This set-up would not only decrease any load on your server by having the video hosted externally but additionally since YouTube is by far the most popular video hosting website on the Internet you would hope that it could also serve as a traffic generation source, linking potentially customers back to your website.

Social Media Icons for trust - have link land them on a social media page or have them stay on the page with like, tweet, +,etc?
Robert, If you go to ebay and amazon you will see them running adsense (or equivalent) on their product pages.

Should we create content for a competitor?
Average video plays on their site are 15,000-20,000 That's all???? In that case... I would place the video on my own site and build out a youtube channel. I'd let them make their own videos.
