Page optimised and SEO ranking
WRT to your competitors Look at their backlink profiles & see where they're coming from. you are approaching your on-page SEO correctly. Also strictly speaking meta-data should be looked at as a conversion element - give the user a reason to click on that link.

Switch domain's CRYPTO focus to B2B
Thank you for your suggestion! The thing is last year Google has blocked all advertisers who ran cryptocurrency/ico-related ads (and us too), so we have no opportunity to run PPC ads for our brand name. Luckily, no competitors run 'bad' ads targeting our brand name as well. I guess it's really the 2nd option that's realistic for us - to push the first query-space to look cleaner. Again thanks for your helpful ideas!

About to give up - shall I buy links?
Not an SEO expert myself, but wouldn't suggest that. The backlinks you can purchase probably won't be of good quality, with little to no effect on your search rankings. In fact, they might actually have a negative impact if Google blacklists these websites you are getting paid links from. It appear you've exhausted many options trying to rank ahead of your competitor, but I think there are still a couple of opportunities you can consider: 1. Aim for "position zero" on SERP by optimizing for Featured Snippets 2. Optimize for image or voice search, rather than purely focusing on text results Hope this helps a little!

Question about influencers
An influencer can absolutely be a travel guide or comparable company rather than only an individual. We run and operate Totally Boise as this purpose, to highlight great things to do and places to see in Boise, for tourists and local. Just keep in mind, influencers should be focused on providing the highest quality content for your query. Dont be a pushy inlfuencer selling goods and services that are not needed. Be a value, as Im sure your plan is to be.

When Company names confuse search
Very interesting question. I'm also wondering if BSC + accounting (as an example) impedes your client's ability to rank because of lowered brand ranking signals. B.Sc. audiences are bound to bounce more and spend far less time on page and site. They're unlikely to link to you when they might, in fact, link to one of your B.Sc. competitors.

Standardising of Company Name Across The Web Question
It would be very unlikely that using "and" instead of "&" throughout your site would confer any advantage and it might confuse your customers, if that's not the way they are used to seeing your name. So stick with the & you use in your branding. As always when these types of questions come up and you are not sure of the answer, go with whatever is the best user experience and you are likely to be rewarded. (Also, take a look and some big sites like Lord&Taylor and see what they do—they don't give up their branding just because there is "and" in their URL.)

Endless Scrolling and prev/next
Thank you for your reply. I however am unable to see the problem you describe. Even at the page code you pasted, I see that the canonical URL is the same: Where the canonical URL of the page is the same as the page https://www.neakriti.gr/article/kriti/irakleio/1524790/eftase-stin-kriti-o-nikos-kotzias/ When you scroll down, the URL changes and if you "view code" of the updated page that was appended you see the new canonical URL. Can you please explain me your findings as I am unable to replicate it?

Is GSC data (branded clicks + impressions) a good indicator for how well your PR activity has performed for the year?
I would definitely use it as some of the metrics as long as the traffic is coming to certain pages that might have been pushed by the PR agency. Another metric that would be good to look at is the number of new links/domains that are linking with the anchor text that is your company name. I would expect most PR agencies to focus on company names.

Should I submit the same blog post on Linkedin as an article with permalink?
Hi Bimal, I understand that you wish to understand how to use an existing good blog content on LinkedIn. Whether to use it completely as an article on LinkedIn or link to your blog or some content with 'read more' link pointing to the blog. Linkedin can be a good place to promote relevant content as there are real people using it and that too being a social network, it can help promote the content to the more similar audience on the article itself. Advantages Your profile and previous articles get highlighted, increasing the chances that people will read more than just the 1 article. Your own presence and branding gets a boost. There are several opportunities that people who liked your article once, will get to see more of your content later, they can also follow you. Your reach to potential targets is increased. Possible Disadvantages The articles will face competition from other content, and they might get lost if not backed by LinkedIn marketing strategy for these articles. Your readership might remain on LinkedIn and if you don’t incentivize them to visit your website. DUPLICATE CONTENT OR NOT: I have done my research and there are many articles which are published both on websites and LinkedIn without getting penalized. Preferably linking them via a permalink is a good solution for Google to realize that the content is coming from same person/ website/ company/brand. I hope this helps and let me know if you have further queries. Regards, Vijay

Different Font of Meta Titles in SERP
Hi Martin, I spent some time looking at their CSS and website code. It seems that they have UNICODED the characters from a font to get the effect. The following characters will give the same effect: %uD835%uDD4A%uD835%uDD3C%uD835%uDD46%20%uD835%uDD63%uD835%uDD56%uD835%uDD64%uD835%uDD65%uD835%uDD52%uD835%uDD63%uD835%uDD65 You can refer to this article to encode custom fonts into characters and use them as title / H1 for the website https://stackoverflow.com/questions/27247145/get-the-unicode-icon-value-from-a-custom-font I hope this helps. Micro data on Ecom Site? is it a problem with people stealing content?
Hi James, Most ecommerce sites or any site that has some kind of structure on a site's page is already to be easily scraped because they're re-using the same HTML. Structured Data Markup might make it easier but it was already possible years ago. I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you start worrying about competitors doing this you likely have other things to do. Martijn.

Wrong logo on Google Knowledge Panel
First, I just want to make double sure (as there's a lot of terminology confusion) -- you're talking about the main Knowledge Panel in the right-hand column on desktop, right? Unfortunately, when these go wrong, there's not a good mechanism for fixing them. Sometimes, best you can do is try to get a Googler's attention, either on the help forums or on Twitter. As Alex said, if there's bad WikiData in play, definitely fix that, but you do have to have someone with editor credentials, unfortunately. Is the logo coming from the wrong source entirely (like a competitor), or is it an issue of an old/outdated logo? Is your GMB data updates? Some Knowledge Panels cross with GMB/local data. Hard to say without knowing the specific example/company.

Changing domain name, witch is better - brand name.com vs keyword + brand name.com?
Can I also note that I don't think you've made enough of the benefits of this thing. 'Features' is great but that's more B2B, benefits is B2C. People want to feel liberated and you've done this great with your imagery but the copy and words perhaps need more depth to them. Put more copy on the site. I know it looks beautiful and you don't want to interfere with the design but copy sells not images. It doesn't have to be long but explain the benefits and problems that you're solving right at the beginning.

Use of Keywords throughout articles
Thanks for the answers! This is a tricky one - I think trial and error is key here .
