Login to see more (some text hidden by CSS height and jquery) will it ruin SEO?
Hey james, thanks mate. I'm thinking of other ways to let organic traffic flow... Since the website is kind of SaaS, but more like content as a service haha. The plan is: User is on the website for 1min 30secs or clicks 3 map markers or visits 3+ pages Popup will appear asking for a signup + payment If no signup: Cookie will be set for 6 months, if a users returns and cookie is detected (php) they will be redirected to sign up page Otherwise signup occured (I know, web developers could inspect element and hide this stuff). Do you think google bot be presented with this sign up stuff? And does google bot not set cookies? Will google bot be able to continue to index the site... BTW, I hid content with css, jquery for 1 week, didn't have much of an affect at all, slight decrease in search visibility, but I was scared to leave it for too long, i managed 340 sign ups though.

Do we still have this Page Rank / Link juice / Link equity? So this dilution concept?
Hello, Larger sites tend to rank better than small sites. This is due to many reasons but the larger the site the more information there is for Google to index. Also as long as you are not building pages to deep where they are hard to find and just get lost you should be fine. The quality of the content is what get you traffic. If the content is valuable and relevant to the reader it should generate more traffic and get more inbound links. It is also a good idea to link to the other pages on your site to help spread the PageRank energy around. That way you can help improve the ranking and traffic for pages that may be on the second or third tier of your menu structure. I would not worry too much about the pages per say. I would just concentrate on the quality of the content of the pages. Best Regards

Images are Blocked Resources in webmasters. Anything wrong?
You can block an entire subdomain via robots.txt, however you'll need to create a robots.txt file and place it in the root of the subdomain, then add the code to direct the bots to stay away from the entire subdomain's content. User-agent: * Disallow: /

Is the User Sitemap dead?
Are you referencing the sitemap link at the bottom of a lot of older websites? Typically those links lead to a page with links to every page on the website. This is more a of a tactic to better navigation purposes. Is this correct? To answer your question, good question! I would be interested to hear what others say as well.

Best way to Load Responsive Images for Responsive Site?
I try to use a CDN where possible to allow for faster delivery. one example of a CDN which is great for responsive imagery is Cloudinary, this is due to the dynamic way in which you can serve scaled images. Lazy load is also a benefit simply due to connection speeds etc and loading behind the scenes.

Anything wrong in linking to homepage from all sub domain pages?
Not a terrible idea, but it will dilute your root domain link %. Google does give an negative attribute if your site it receiving too many links from a single root domain.

Could a redirecting a homepage mess with seo? if so is there any documentation you could point me too? Thanks!
I wouldn't suggest redirecting a homepage to another site if you still want to rank that original domain for stuff. It's just showing G that you're not taking that domain as serious as you are others. Hope this helps If it does please send a like. Thanks!

Does the blog widget with latest blog-posts at homepage helps in SEO?
It can certainly help. If your blog titles contain keywords that you want the site to rank for, then by having this widget you will be giving another source of information that contains your keywords on your Homepage. It can also reduce your bounce rate which in turn is great for SEO. If someone sees the blog title and thinks "that sounds interesting" and clicks it - they are interacting with your site, and this is a big thumbs up! My advice would be to make sure your blog titles contain strong industry keywords and this could certainly help your SEO.

Business Services via Index Page or Dedicated Pages?
Absolutely I would strongly suggest to have a page for every single service otherwise on-page optimisation becomes suboptimal. Assuming that your service pages are NOT going to be shallow, i.e. enough unique content. What you cold do is to use the index page for more **general, broader keywords **that you don't tackle in your service pages. You can or even should link from the index page to the services (not only in the menu) too.

Need suggestion: What is the best internal linking structure for our website to gain in SEO & UX too?
Hi, Mostly look at Amazon, they've been doing some of this stuff for a while. Just not sure if they're changing the link structure based on colors or certain features. But it happens on a regular basis that they're changing things on the page according to the size or the color of the product that you're picking. Martijn.

Http to https:Risky?
You are going to definitely need HTTPS on your site browsers are already making websites that do not have https look insecure I would change over ASAP. If you perform it correctly with the proper 301 redirects and update Google search console you will not suffer for more than a week max I have never seen ranking a drop personally out of over 20 sites but I have heard of some it is extremely unlikely that it will occur now. A how to checklist** is at the top if you. follow that you will be okay.** http://www.aleydasolis.com/en/search-engine-optimization/http-https-migration-checklist-google-docs/ http://www.aleydasolis.com/htaccess-redirects-generator/https-vs-http/ https://www.semrush.com/blog/https-just-a-google-ranking-signal/ Everyone here is ready to help if you have any questions. I hope this is of help all the best, Tom

Not a huge fan of WordPress. But if you know WordPress, you would really like DNN.

What factors make a ranking difference between Desktop and Mobile?
+1 to both of the above comments! It's hard to say why a website ranks higher in mobile than in desktop without actually seeing it. However, a few factors could be at play here: 1. Site Speed 2. Not having pop-ups or flash enabled on your mobile site 3. Structured Data is present More data is certainly needed in order to answer your question in a more specific way. Good question!

Website Form Doesn't Work for Visitors from Google Search App
This is not an SEO function, this has to do with how your site is coded and how that code interacts with the app. You will need to bring in a Dev to troubleshoot your code and find a solution.

Is this is Wow HIT ME IN THE Face Google bug or am I missing something?
Sorry for the long delay I have been away on vacation. Your response is very valid and indeed in our generated string we do also include product titles, however since changing the order of the aspx attributes our sales have taken off. An issue we have is that we have many products which have very slight variations in name and come up against the the URL too long issue to give real keyword rich titles. We choose to use the attributes to make sure that pages are visited by google on feeds to them, but then generate the title on the fly when the page is rendered. This keeps the url nice and short for Google to locate but allows the spider to see the title in the url. The issue remains that Google are not spidering the all of the attributes but using just the first they come across even if it gives rise to duplicate feeds. You would think that they would index using a sample with all attributes and then with individual attributes to make sure they gain the most content rich and valid results. We will now run a test to see if truncating the titles improves indexing or shows little or no improvement. I would like to think that this is fairly minor as long as the keywords are close to the start of the title string and hence if Google truncates for result display purposes users will still gain a rich experience.
