Hello there! There has not been any discovery in how Google analyzes pages to fill Featured Snippets nor any other rich result, yet. Personally believe that this is really new and Google AI is learning how to be better at finding the right information for enchances results. It's nearly a lottery to be featured, althogh there are some pages that have some tips to be selected as FS, none of them worked for me. Also, remember that being in a rich result page will diminish the CTR for every one. My advise: Focus on bringing the best of the bes content you might do. Best luck. GR.

We got an answer from JohnMu - Webmaster Trends Analyst at Google. The reason of crawling is (as we find out) the filters  which have infinite variations (one of developers was sleeping), we will correct this. Disallowing in Robot.txt is adviced as the quickest fix to stop the mega-crawling. This case will be used for further research because of the disproportionate capacity usage. You're right, Google initially will crawl everything, but they don't want Googlebot crawling looks like a "mini-Ddos-like attack".

Href lang tags are your friend here I've got a site set up as .com (our global catch all) .com/uk .com/us and .com/de Get the tags right and you're golden - having fewer pages wont matter either it'll just be a lot less exposure/SEO in those countries

Hi David, Is it necessary to redirect ALL old URLs_**? **_ No. The old URLs will continue to show up in search results for some time. Your global redirect will make sure visitors and link juice gets appropriately routed, but you do want those URLs to eventually get dropped from the index. The best way to encourage search engines to do that is to not create a specific redirect.

Hi Cafegardesh The standard way of doing this is to link through the logo which will have the Alt text of the website name. Better all round than having a link saying 'Home'. Either way, it is essential you have this - your home page should naturally be the most linked page on the site. Regards Nigel

Nope - as long as the DNS resolves to the website properly, doesn't matter whether it's via A Record or Cname. Many hosts are doing this now so that the DNS isn't dependent on the IP address in case the host needs to change that for emergency, security, or server change reasons. Paul

Not that I've noticed... I started with the company back in February and noticed it when I crawled the site with Screaming Frog. So they already had uppercase and lowercase permalinks back then. When I brought it to our developers attention they didn't seem to concerned. Then I saw something somewhere that discussed Google seeing them as potential duplicates. Which is when I posted to MOZ and got the response that it was fine since we have canonical URLs in place. So, it has not had any negative effect since I started that I can see. However, I don't know how to correct Screaming Frog from seeing as duplicate pages.

Hi Don, Thanks for your reply! I've used CognitiveSEO for the linkprofile and I did saw some backlinks. I haven't mistaken Organic rankings with Paid traffic. I will take a look at their linkprofile according to Semrush. Funny thing is: a big part of the 58 links are redirects from their old domain.
