Usage of Schema.org Microdata?
Fair enough... This is what I'm looking at in terms of the settings I want to integrate directly into the header, I'll try to keep people posted on the results: https://github.com/themeforce/framework/blob/master/core_seo/tf.schema.admin-options.php

How to position in local Google
Hello, It would really depend on what type of local result your targeted keyword is generating. If it is generating the traditional local result it is important that you full complete your local listing, add lots of images and videos and make sure the content on the places page is relevant. After this you must build lots of citations. If your targeted keyword is generating a result that is integrated with the organic search results, then do all of the above, but also have a good link build strategy in place. Thanks, Gordon

Entering into a new website franchise model, currently subdomains, client wants scalability. Best approach?
I've seen a lot of debate regarding subdomains and folders and it seems the folder structure may be the best long term course of action but I'm still a bit unclear on this. I agree with folders. Lots of discussion on that in the Q&A. Search to find more. What is the best approach to ensure that all SEO addressed on the site has the most impact and moving forward, what is the best method to scaling the SEO for franchisee owners. Do a great job researching the typcial keywords for your niche and apply cookie cutter optimization for each city where you have a franchisee. Such as "Scranton Auto Glass". What is the best practice to help each location be best positioned in search in the future. Produce lots of interesting and informative content about your niche. Don't thump your chest. People don't want that. Write exciting content that anybody who needs your service and product would want to hear. Zero promotion. All informative. Best on the web content that will rank and attract links that will benefit your entire site. How much should the corporate franchise site typically provide in terms of SEO services to franchisees. It sounds like the leadership understands SEO. So set up a good model with templates for content production by franchisees and help them as much as you can. Set them up to succeed. It benefits the entire company. How does the lead SEO consultant scale those services to franchisees? Produce a web form that makes it easy for all franchisees to provide unique informative content that will populate their webpages. When they press the submit button, a program on your server converts this input into drafts of their folder files. Figure out a way to make existing franchisees compete this information. Make it a requirement for new franchisees that must be completed before their franchise is awarded.

Breadcrumb Trail for SEO?
We have bread crumbs on our main site and as Dejan describes.... "Another neat thing is in the SERPs when you get little: Top Level > Main Category > Sub Category type links under your snippet. " .... lots of these extra links appear in our SERPs. Also, just yesterday we started adding breadcrumbs to our second most important site. This is part of a redesign for a site that was built a long time ago. It is a medium-size handbuilt site and adding the breadcrumbs is going to be a little costly. We believe that breadcrumbs are very important for visitors, they help communicate the structure of your site to google and are important for making the navigation structure links appear in the Google SERPs.

Website Restructure - Good or Bad for SEO?
Our site is doing the same. EZWatch-Security-Cameras.com Restructuring allows you to organize your content into "Silos" and eliminate some of the unnecessary links through JSON objects, iframes, and nofollows (some debate there on which is optimal). The Downfalls: There will probably be a 30-90 day dip in traffic but if you do page-to-page 301's it won't hurt nearly as much. Anytime you change URL's you are likely to see some inbound links drop off, but that happens when the pages don't change, so it's going to be minimal. Sure, 301's might drop some of your PR during transfer, but only a minimal amount according to matt cutts. The Benefits: Organizing your content into silos and pruning cross-category links will allow you to control the flow of pagerank and anchor text much more effectively. Bruce Clay has a huge amount of resources on this, and they even cover it on their blog. Will it be painful? Yes. Will it be worth it? Yes.

Impact of Non-English target keywords in URL
Given the current state of the Internet (with the shorteners you've mentioned, etc) I would suggest to use English characters so a maximum amount of people can read the URL.

Are duplicate links on same page alright?
Duplicate links on a page are fine. As EGOL shared, you only want to offer a duplicate link when it makes sense and offers a benefit to users. The SEO community all seems to agree only the first link is counted with respect to Google, but I have been unable to locate an authority such as Matt Cutts who provides a response confirming this information.

Webmaster Tools Zero URLs in Web Index Overnight
The URLs on my site in WMT slowly migrated to the new domain. My change was done in February and there is still a little activity in WMT for the old domain. But new domain is very healthy.
