What is the easiest and most scalable way to add links from one page to a related page entry?
Yes – for now we have! Thanks, Christy.

Why is content getting longer?
Yes I realize tweets cannot be compared to blogs. I was just trying to point out how people love short content.

Is there any examples of comparing a competitors product to your own .
I the examples Kristina offered. It's really important to understand that integrating competitor product information into your site needs to be done artfully as much as scientifically. Get the message wrong, and you expose the company to DMCA takedown vulnerability, as well as potential lawsuits for business-damaging misinformation, or worse, having governmental agencies come after you. In other words, there are several "right" ways to go about it, and several "wrong" ways. Please be sure a professional is involved in this process, whatever the "method" or "style" of your approach might be - someone who understands the legal issues involved enough to avoid those vulnerabilities.

Blog.website.com or website.com/blog
I would not name this folder /blog/ Instead, I would name it /news/ /tips/ /goodies/ /stories/ anything but /blog/ Why? If you name it /blog/ it will attract hackers, spammers, and weasels like bugs to a Georgia porchlight.

Wordpress Old Articles date - Update or Not
Maybe I will leave the date as it was then... Based on minimal changes, I would do this. A minimal update doesn't need to sit in the background though. Remember to get busy and let everyone know when you update something -Andy

Exchanging Guest Blog Opportunities - SEO Implications?
We do this on a monthly basis with another company (a former employee who moved to a different company, there's synergy in what both companies offer). So far (and we've been doing it for just over a year) we haven't had any problems with doing this. We also do guest blogging without reciprocal relationship. I think it works so long as there are clear, demonstrable reasons for doing so - like I say we do this with a company that is not in direct competition with us but does have synergy with what we offer so we're able to provide expertise in our area for their visitors and vice versa. I think it adds value for our visitors and theirs. Hope this helps

Reviving a (very) old blog - is it worth shifting the content onto a new blog?
Hi there I would do a quick content audit and see what content from your old blog could be removed, consolidated, or updated. People love in-depth articles and posts so this could be a great opportunity to see what content is worth expanding on or leaving alone. Whatever you, do make sure that you properly URL map your old blog so that old posts are pointing to their new home on the new blog - that way you don't have a bunch of old blog posts pointing directly to the main blog category. You may also want to do a backlink audit in case some of those old blog URLs have links pointing to them and you want them to updated to the new URL structure, or removed because they are spammy. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Translating other people blogpost to other languange and post on our blog
Hi there I would make sure you mind your canonical tag, but I would also look into opportunities that search engines provide such hreflang and language tags. If you have translated variations of your site, you can also look into country targeting for both Google and Bing. Here's some more information on international SEO if you need it. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Google Finance
Hey John, To be in "google finance", it takes a bit time and the authority of your site matters a lot. Usually if your site is already in Google news, there are high chances that it will pick up in the finance section itself. I'd suggest you to look at this offical google forum link for detailed information: https://productforums.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!category-topic/news/google-news-publishers/AG5lYhTztys Good luck!

URL Structure for Blog
Hi Tom, I guess if you used a /blog sub-folder, any links to individual posts will pass juice down to the main /blog landing page. If you go for the /blog-name URL, juice will be spread across the whole domain.

How to promote your blog content
Hi there I would check out the answer I put in this Q+A about starting a blog first. From there, looking into brand building through these paid opportunities: Facebook Twitter Pinterest LinkedIn Also look into posting on Linked with a tagged URL giving credit to the original post on site Reddit Stumbleupon BuzzFeed Outbrain Taboola That being said, ALWAYS utilize relevant social platforms and partnerships from the organic standpoint (not buying ads, just posting). To answer your first and third questions: 1.) Yes, also see if any of that content can be repurposed or updated as well. 3.) I actually do go through all relevant groups and post. Make sure you tag your URLsso you can track your performance across social platforms with your distribution. Hope this helps! Good luck!

We want to move Content from one domain to another
Hi there I would put the content through a content audit. What's relevant? What's not? What can be updated? What can be consolidated? Going through this exercise will help you prioritize your plan of action. From there, I would make sure you take a look at Moz's migration guide, as it can help you set up the transfer of your content to the other website - this includes URL mapping, redirects, sitemap considerations, as well as measurements. Hope this all helps! Good luck!

Why did Moz remove thumbs down from blog posts?
Joe, thanks so much for this idea. It's one I've been playing around with for a while -- we've certainly noticed the same pattern (with some noteworthy exceptions), and we frequently discuss whether or not it's cause for concern. We've got the data, and would certainly benefit from the experience of putting such a post together, so I might just treat your reply here as the straw that broke the camel's back. With regard to well-known SEO leaders, I have a theory about that, too -- I like to draw an analogy to classes at a university. In the early days, everyone is a freshman, getting their bearings and eager to try things out and participate. The sophomore year brings wisdom that wasn't there before. By junior year, you could throw the term "expert" around, but time starts to become a factor -- reading and commenting on blog posts isn't given quite the same priority it once was -- and by senior year, you're thinking about what comes next. Then that happens. I think, for the most part, the industry legends that made this blog what it is today have largely moved on to other phases of their lives. Some are CEOs trying to keep their own companies in order, some have even left the industry altogether. In their place, though, we have a new cohort of freshmen and sophomores that'll take the Moz Blog to the next level. I've seen plenty of folks contributing incredibly thoughtful comments and participating regularly, and I think it won't be long before they're seen at the same level as those original legends. My two cents. Now to get to work on that post...
