RE: Google PPC - coupon balances
I have not used MCC, but from what I understand Google is pretty strict about coupon use and do not provide any loophole in using or transferring coupon credit in any way, this would just create a wide array of problems with their coupon system.

RE: What are the pros and cons of having a single page website format?
Install WordPress, and just create pages. WordPress is simplistic. Optimization is quite simple as well.
Redirects would only be needed if you have other links like capitolshine.com/carwashes or anything similar to that. But assuming your ONLY link is capitolshine.com, you do not need that.
WordPress.org to download it, but majority of host have one click installation. Let me know if you need more in depth of installing, but it is fairly simple.

RE: What are the pros and cons of having a single page website format?
You should definitely create individual pages.
As you mentioned crawling would be only that single page and nothing else. Every meta description and title would be limited and not allow you to target certain customers.
Tracking bounce rates you would not be able to see which page they are not interested in, thus you don't know where to focus on.
Additional pages are better, even if its only 5-6 pages, it makes it more organized. It makes it easier to manage the pages and would like drive a customer nuts scrolling if they don't know you can click to the areas.
You should even break it down to each service you provide, that would create more targeted customers maybe looking for car washes in ('city'). But keep a master pricelist as well...maybe master pricelist and they can click the service to view more in detail what you do on a SEO page.
On reprograming, if you don't have too much problems, you should switch to WordPress, its very easy to manage everything, just do redirects. You have one page so I assume it won't have much effect.

RE: Block Baidu crawler?
I'm also trying to get this done as well, not sure if its doable on Volusion(don't use them).
Yandex actually crawls more than Baidu for me, and both don't benefit me at all(sucks when you pay for the bandwidth)

RE: Anyone Know Of A WP Plugin for Before and After Pictures
You can try these few.
In order of latest updated:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/before-after/
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/beforeafter-pictures/
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/beforeafter/screenshots/
But simple photoshop or even Paint can help you do a before and after, unless you are looking for some sort of special effects like onclick, but I think you can do that with regular coding like onhover or onclick.

RE: Is Google Rotating Good Matches?
I mean in a perfect world the numbers equal the same but in reality all traffic and search terms have different CTRs and actions. I hope they stabalize it a bit because I've been jumping from 3-7, kind of annoying when its my domain i'm searching for (keyword not actual).

RE: Certain product ranking higher than category (ecommerce)
Well checked again, and OSE shows the product page all criterias are lower than the category page. strange!:$!$$#$!

RE: Certain product ranking higher than category (ecommerce)
The actual category gets an A.
I will get a chance to look more in depth later in the week.
For some reason I think it just may be temporary, the SERP are going nuts lately.

Certain product ranking higher than category (ecommerce)
Hi all,
I'm a bit stumped on a SERP. The product is ranking higher than the actual category.
Is there anyway to fix this? When I type in "category111", I get the product link instead of a link to the general category.
It would be "productname category111" and link would point to product not category.
Hope that makes since!
TIA

RE: Changing the author of a post
Meaning the link to the Author's page where ALL of his articles are available for view. I don't remember what the wordpress link was but basically something like www.wordpress.com/authors_name/
Where it shows all the author's posts, just redirect www.wordpress.com/authors_name/ to www.wordpress.com/new_authors_name/
-
RE: Changing the author of a post
Won't matter from what I know. Unless the links are going to the author's list of posts(don't forget to redirect to the merged author), it won't really matter.
Changing the author won't give any real affect unless the author is really that authoritative in your niche(very unlikely).

RE: Is Google Rotating Good Matches?
Same issue, my rankings are jumping from between 3-7. I am not sure why but I can confirm that rankings are jumping fairly often.
It could be due to higher domain authority jumping around. I've seen momentarily eBay's category of the site we are ranking for in position 1.

RE: Help diagnosing a complex SEO issue
Sorry about that mistake, I forgot about the 10% each interval.
Have you exported your organic search results from pre-panda/penguin? I would export the organic searches and then compare them, and see how many keywords AND what keywords are no longer being indexed.
At best, you narrow down what pages are not getting as much organic search and you can try to fix the links by either optimizing the pages, maybe removing keyword stuffing, and requesting questionable links to your site(not saying you are doing any of these but just general idea of why penguin is hitting some sites).

RE: Help diagnosing a complex SEO issue
Is your site in a competitive niche? The competitiveness of a niche can greatly impact the fluctuating rankings. Are you checking rankings for just the root domain or other sections of the site?
One thing that could be a factor as well is that some keywords you were ranking for pre-penguin, might not be ranking anymore post-penguin.
I have a site that was effected by penguin as well and one keyword we had that was driving 10-20% of traffic was not longer ever an organic source.
I would try my best to start building up instead of worrying about the drop if its only 10%. For the site I mentioned, we are just going to try to optimize other parts of the site and keep on building links.

RE: How to use MyBlogGuest.com
If you are able to find out the companies that picked articles, that would be ideal. But to be honest, MGB is a bit hard to manage and filter.

RE: How many sites on one hosting account?
Majority of the time, or heck...ALL THE TIME, these hosting solutions that state unlimited everything is not true. The resources are for start up sites because they have hundreds of sites on one server.
Now the question is how much traffic is going to those sites? If you expect a decent amount of traffic, I suggest you get a VPS, which is more flexible in bandwidth use.
None the less, the most important thing is how much traffic you are getting currently. If all your sites generate a lot of traffic the site will get "suspended" and they will either ask you to upgrade or just completely kick you off.
BlueHost, I believe only has shared hosting and don't have dedicated or VPS solutions(last time I checked). I would go with maybe HostGator(a little pricey for shared and other solutions but speed is good). Best chances are going to a host that offers Shared, VPS, Dedicated Servers, so you can grow easily and move around easier.
Usually the hosts will be glad to upgrade you and even help you transition and transfer the files to the new VPS/Dedicated server.

RE: How to use MyBlogGuest.com
You can generally pre-write an article and post an excerpt to the site. Individuals will come by and go to your niche/category and if they think it is a good article/excerpt they will contact you for the information. Its quite simple when you do it once or twice.
