Why does Google Claimed Local Listing Ranking Drop?
Hi Arthur, Unfortunately, no, if you can't receive mail at the old address and are being offered a postcard only option, that won't work for you. Because of this, instead of claiming the incorrect listing, I would recommend that you use the report a problem link at the bottom of the Place Page (if it still exists and is available to you). Since this morning, though, everything is upside down in the whole Google Localsphere. I'm not totally sure what has happened in Australia, but I believe the migration from Places to Plus is global. In case you haven't read about it, here's a good overview from Search Engine Land: http://searchengineland.com/google-places-is-over-company-makes-google-the-center-of-gravity-for-local-search-122770 At this point, Google is saying that you can still managed existent listings from the Places Dashboard, so if you do have the ability to report a problem, do so. Let Google know you have a correct listing and point to it and that this other listing is old and the business doesn't exist there. Today has been the craziest day in Local in recent memory. Lots of changes in the works.

Which Local Listing Should I Delete
Hi Arthur, It sounds as though "Option A" is being generated by an already-existing Yellow Pages listing with incorrect information? If so, I think you should deal with the Yellow Pages issues first. You should also track down all the other data sources that might be providing incorrect information to Google. I highly recommend David Mihm's "Local Search Ecosystem" which you can find here: http://www.davidmihm.com/blog/seo-industry/local-search-ecosystem-2012/ Here's the thing, though. They're not true duplicate listings if they have different addresses. You may have some issues getting them merged until you can update the data. So, once you've dealt with the upstream data providers, I'd go ahead and modify the incorrect listing without claiming it, making it match the correct listing perfectly. Once you've done that, you should have more luck with the merging process. My opinion is that claiming both listings is **not **the way to go. Having two listings for the same location in your account is in violation of the Google guidelines, and I see no advantage to it. Instead, you should follow this process order to merge duplicate listings: http://support.google.com/places/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=183009 As for which listing to chose as the primary - that's a tough one. Did you say that Option B is already ranked #1? If so, I'd probably go with that one, but only once everything else has been fixed. In summary: Correct the upstream data providers that are causing the problem. Try to track them all down Modify the incorrect listing so it is identical to the correct one Claim one of them - I'm thinking the one that's ranked #1, but someone else may disagree DON'T claim the second one. Instead, follow the Google guidelines to report a duplicate listing.

Local SEO Two Locations - Should I have a web page for each address?
Hi Arthur, I think doing both is okay. For our clients with multiple offices, we usually list contact information for all locations on the /contact page. Then we create unique content that is specifically optimized for each location on separate pages. If local SEO is really important for the company, make sure you claim Google Places pages (and listings on any other important directories) for each location as well. Tim

Web Design for Ecommerce like wanelo
People ask all kinds of website and marketing related questions here, it's not restricted to strictly SEO. The accounting/inventory software question we saw come in today was a tad off topic though. There are a fair number of people here who do ecommerce, but if you don't get enough feedback, you might try a forum more strictly related to that.
