When did you make this website live? and when did you notice that they have cloned your website?
However, there is nothing to worry, it takes time to DMCA to respond to all the queries, You can also touch base with their hosting company to report about this issue, and directly email them as well.
Report this issue to Google as well. But Google is smart enough to track such frauds if your site content and design is older than the other website, sooner or later it will dropped in rankings.
First search engines index your website and then shows the cache. Cache is actually a snapshot of the page which search engines have indexed. They actually want to show you the copy which they've in their index, so that you can verify and if found any problem then can correct it.
The points which you've mentioned/explained is only related to optimization. What exactly are you doing on promotion part.
I guess you must be promoting this page via:
If not then start immediately. Optimization helps in better indexing but not directly in SE Rankings.
Apply variation in Anchor Texts while developing links, so that it looks natural. for e.g:
It appears as if the bounce of this page would be relatively high, NO?
As long as you've not stuffed your keywords and using naturally. It won't harm you. As ebay uses "Buy" N number of time on one page.
Ask yourself if your content looks keyword stuffed or get it reviewed here
Share the URL to get the fair feedback from the top SEO community
Allow your visitors to directly land on your competition page, which you primary goal. After finishing with the Poll/Contest, they can themselves choose the page they want to visit.
Confusing the customer is loosing the customer. Be very specific. Don't let them use their brain. Just guide them
You're Right Doug, Thanks for the help. I got the answer
Doug, it is quite possible that some visitors would directly be going to the goal Page, but when I've already created a funnel for goal conversion and required step is also there so I assume that it should not be counted as converted goals at least not in Google Analytics, isn't it?
Its been a week now, but tracking has started yesterday only. Required step added the same day I created Goals and funnel.
Please check the first image in Question. that one is admin section screen shot.
This is only Goal which I've created as an experiment. I need to create several other goals as well.
Could you please be specific with what exactly you need from me?
PFA the other possible screen shot for your perusal
Thanks,
Hi,
Just a few days back I had the similar query. Instead of making changes to your keyword list. You should try to promote your website locally. Try submitting your website into local directories, list your website in Google Local, create a G+ page.
Before finalizing your keywords, do some research with http://www.google.com/insights/search. Google Insight for search can give you an idea if people add Calgary while searching for your products/services
Also request your customers to leave genuine comments/reviews (Do not spam) on your listings at various local directories, google listing
Please see the attached image. Can anyone please explain the attached image.
Goal Overview tab says 8 Goals.
but in the attached image says, 3 visitors finished, I've even set the required step as well, so it is also not possible to goal might have completed from any other page.
Thanks
I am trying to track goals in Google Analytics for a website that has the same goal URL for main website and various sub-domains. The main domain for example is: mymaindomain.com and the sub-domain are my1st.subdomain.com, my2nd.subdomain.com, etc. but the Goal URL is same for all the sub-domains and main domain, i.e. mymaindomains.com/pay/thanks.html. I have Google Analytics configured to track domains and all sub-domains and I’ve already setup the goal for each sub-domain and even created the funnel as well for each sub-domain. However, in goal tracking, it always shows “0”.
I am also looking forward to get some help to set up an advanced filter so I can see traffic to my sub-domains in Analytics.
Thanks!
PM me the details of your website/ exact requirement. Or please check your PM inbox for contact details.
Personally I would suggest not to outsource Link Building. However, there is no harm in outsourcing linking provided they build links manually/naturally without using only ethical ways.
Do not allow them build links via exchanging links with other directories. 99% of the companies claim to build one way links but they're involved in three way link schemes, which search engines can now track easily.
The best way for acquiring natural one way links is develop links by :
Hope this hellps
though guest post, articles, PRs are the best way to develop natural/one way links. However as you're not technical enough to deal with this issue. So, you may want try with comments, social sharing (Google+, FB, Twitter, etc.).
Start tagging your pages with top bookmarking website (Do Not Spam) with relevant/informative description, which I guess, can be taken from website itself, but don't forget to rephrase or you'll be penalized for dup content issue.
Start participating on the blogs/forums of the same nature, this way you can also develop some technical knowledge and gradually can start writing your own articles, blogposts.
Forget about the current indexing (though it's a matter of concern), but for now you must set the preferred domain either with www. or without www (doesn't make much difference), it's all your wish.
I personally prefer without www for https sites
as far as the sitemap is concerned to it won't harm you in any which ways. once done, make sure to set the canonical URL as well to avoid any duplicate content issue
Well, looking at the scenario you have mentioned doesn't show anywhere that slashes are that cause of low search engine ranking. in-fact slashes doesn't even play any role in search engine position.
You need to strengthen your inner pages by acquiring some quality one way links (Do not purchase links), build link manually and gradually with the help of articles, PRs, guest posts, comments, blogging, etc.
You may want to PM me the url of your website to look into the real problem.
