In order to put those image URLs for the crawler to be able to access them you should either:

• Link to the URLs of the images (does that .html page in the subdomain contain these URLs?)

or

• Use the images URLs as resources in the pages already been crawled. Unfortunately this could be tricky when dealing with CDNs since those resources are dynamic.

In either case, the sitemap will solve your problem.

Did you reference the sitemap in the robots.txt file or did you set up it in GWT?

Google will index the second URL but will not pass any SEO weight to it since, as a temporary redirection, the first URL is expected to be restored shortly.

Breadcrumbs are clearly useful but I would make a distintion between two perspectives:

1. Google: breadcrumbs are strongly recommended as part of a structured data implementation in order to get a clearer picture of our site's structure.
2. User: breadcrumbs can a be lifesaver when site structure is so deep that main navigation is not enough.

I usually skip the use of breadcrumbs for very simple structures and make it a must for complex and deep structures like ecommerce sites. For those cases in between I go for the better ux.

Yes, you have to create a property for every subdomain since every subdomain has different peculiarities, like the instructions in robots.txt

You may also want to reconsider to put your blog in a subfolder instead a subdomain. This has been the recommedation from Moz for a long time and still is. That's great, lots of work but great for your SEO.

If by landing page you mean an isolated webpage published under a new keyword-rich domain, I think you can achieve more just creating those pages in your current site using a relevant url.

Do that only if you have enough resources to produce all those landing pages with really original content. Otherwise you will get duplicate content and even it could be seen by Google as spammy content. Maybe a more realistic solution would be picking the most valuable cities and start building from there.

I've had that same dilemma a couple of times. I did not find a better solution that using Corporation including the one physical location as hasPOS or simply as location.

If there is a good reason for those redirects to be temporary, use the first URL. If not use the second.

You could use "Duplicate post" plugin to clone your posts and then schedule those cloned posts.

That shouldn't be a problem, but I would consider two important factors involved in this move: a) IP geolocalization (this experiment from Richard Baxter is very illustrative: https://builtvisible.com/ip-location-search-results/) and b) performance of the new CDN.
