RE: Targeting different countries with domain name
Typically the TLD should match that of the country you want to target, although practically I've never seen it make much difference. If it was a very competitive market sector and very location specific it may make more of the difference.
One thing you should be aware of do not just add a second TLD to your website, this will cause Google to see duplicate content which it doesn't like possibly other search engines as well.

Should brand/company be included in meta title?
Is there any point/benefit/requirement in using brand/company name in the meta title, I realise search engines like Google prefer brand focused pages, However it is unlikely that someone would be including the company in our search terms.
Any thoughts?

RE: Moz Forum Responses Crashing Outlook 365
It is the desktop client that is causing problems for me, so it must be a general problem.
Does anyone know how we get Moz to do something about it?

Keyword Organising
Does anyone know of any tools to aid organising keywords?
I'm currently using Excel extensively in an effort to bring some organisation, however it is very labour intensive.

RE: Building Page Rank
Sorry I meant PA (Moz), not PR.
I know it isn't everything but it is a big indicator.
First level (homepage) seems to be ok.
Second level nav, seems to be very similar
but very little if anything seems to be passing to anything beyond or including third level.
It is only a low authority site, however the keyword I'm going after is very low competition. Unless I can get page authority up a tad of got no chance of ranking it.

Moz Forum Responses Crashing Outlook 365
Don't know if anyone else has this issue every time I get a forum response email and I try to open it it seizes up Outlook 365.
It totally crashes, all I can do is to kill the process and restart Outlook!!

Building Page Rank
I have a situation where there is a product category page with multiple products listed linking to individual product pages. The pages been around some time with no change. The strange thing is although page rank is reasonable on the category page it doesn't seem to be passing any rank to the individual product pages.
Any ideas to swing the roundabouts on this?
Thanks

RE: Why have I lost 1/3 of my backlinks (about 5,000) in 3 months?
Mello Matt,
If it was my site I would seriously consider getting rid of any redirects from old dodgy pages, you could force Google to consider for the content still exists. If it goes to a 404 Google can then see clearly it no longer exists.
But would be interesting on what others have to say on that.I would source my back links mainly from Google search console.
Hope that helps.

RE: Why have I lost 1/3 of my backlinks (about 5,000) in 3 months?
Sorry just a question, where are you getting your back links list from? It's not unknown for tools to be inaccurate.
Another point I forgot to mention, Moz did update their index in the past few days, lots of people have seen a DA drop.

RE: Why have I lost 1/3 of my backlinks (about 5,000) in 3 months?
Firstly, sounds like you do have a penalty of some sort.
Secondly, I would not have redirected the hacked pages back to the site anywhere, you could give yourself a penalty that way. You could be passing bad authority or worse from anywhere else on the web, completely out of your control.
Thirdly, don't discount the potential of a website problem. Broken script, user damage, another hack etc
1. Do a thorough link cleanup.
2. Consider taking down any pages that are not relevant or earning any value.
3. Check search console for any notifications or manual penalties.
4. Check the website for performance and functionality.

Metrics?
I have a puzzle which I'm trying to get my head around.
Trying to get a domain ranking for some keywords, competition is low and the main page authority is very similar to a competing domain.
However trust flow and circulation flow are substantially more for the competitor, the competitor also has a fairly substantial link profile. When I look at their link profile it mostly seems spamy, yet that seems the only difference is the size of the link profile.
Is Google not so fussy about spam as it makes out??
Or is there something that I'm overlooking??

RE: Fetch as Google
So you mean you will see the results of efforts taken quicker but other than that no other impact?
-
Fetch as Google
Are there any pros or cons with using Google fetch and submit?
I realise Google will likely find it of its own accord in due course but I have found it may take a couple of weeks if at all.
Fetch and submit seems to speed this process up, sometimes anyway.

How do you optimise for multiple keywords?
I need to optimise for multiple keywords, on the same page?
Mainly thinking of the H1 and title.

Anyone know of a free keyword monitoring tool?
I need a free hosted keyword monitoring tool to monitor several thousand keywords. It would also be beneficial to have domain monitoring also for monitoring competitors.
All ideas very welcome...
