I'd probably look at sculpting using the sitemap - internally restricting flow can been seen as a little odd unless its for say documents, checkout or a login area type thing. what isn't clear is what it your objective in performing this task. Because even if you nofollow to that page others externally could and the equation alters a little - if you don't want a page found maybe look at robots.txt too

it depends what you are putting as a no follow, do you mean for just external links?

not passing link juice as a silo can cause issues as search engines tend to favour all round "good egg" websites who are part of their community ... aka both receive and give links

either use rel=canonical, its use is just this purpose and saying this is the origin of content.

or if it's not an important page to you add it to robots.txt and remove it from search -

either way it will fix the issue... another could be to look at if you can fix those variables into friendly urls which you can then pull things from for your title for instance... but thats a bit more complex and usually not worth thinking about.

You may find useful this tool I use "fruition" it looks at whether you are likely to be hit or have been hit by an update - http://fruition.net/

Its useful because you don't want to be hit by future updates nor previous ones being refreshed.

In terms of de-indexing, unless you've thousands, it's probably a waste of time and effort. If they don't rank thats fine and unless you intend to delete them at some point it's not worth it really. you could look at maybe a system where say 3 months after the deal ends it redirects to a page for that shop which has the latest offers on - this way you deal with another issue of drop off because people see something has expired... if that makes sense?

Yes and No...

Yes from a user's point of view, its easier to remember and nicer to read - though length should be a consideration too.

No from the point of view that exact match domains (and potentially folders within) are being targeted and down graded by Google... / it won't harm you but you may not gain as much as you once would have done.

The process we use with several clients follows this flow

is the product out of stock temporarily?
-Yes, leave page up but remove from category pages

is product out of stock permenantly?
-Yes, redirect to category page and remove category page links (if not done automatically).

further to this you could look at having the image above some text and the text describes the image -- using z-index to layer them - hope that makes a little sense... if not google z-index

it's a tough one. There isn't a one-size solution (as with any SEO).

My advice would be to bulk out your site as awhole, for example lots of deal / voucher sites have whole pages for particular brands and talk about the brand to bulk out that content rather than just say here is a voucher.

If you site is literally just a blog you could take the same idea and put maybe 100 words describing the company the deal is for, twist it each time and sometimes not use it at all - but it will bulk out your content without getting in the way.

The other thing could be to list the "necessary" stuff like name, code, expiry and link etc and then just use the space below that won't be read by users but will be by search engines to talk about something related to that deal - bulk out the content even though users won't read it and show google what quality is.

what CMS are you using, usually there are plugins to help you do this. Another alternative is to change the URL back to the old URL but the name stays as the new one - this is a common thing that can happen. But it all depends on your CMS - search its name and 301 redirect, you will get there

Whilst some of it is better than it was, the way it deals with pages is still flawed.

For example most pages are using the url format .au/#!chauffeur-hire-perth/c1ay9

#! is a "hashbang" it means it's being dealt / served through javascript and as such isn't readable via search engines - in addition to this all pages have a canonical of the homepage and so would never rank anyhow...

As much as it may not be what you want to hear, its never likely to rank well - i certainly don't forsee it ever ranking in the top 3... sorry

Being transparent: I have never been one to support the likes of WIX or others of a similar nature. The templates they use are built to cover so many bases that it will never really please anyone completely. Also the way in particular WIX deals with pages is concerning in particular - others do it too i should add.

You won't have any issues with this. Most SEO's don't use the same account for webmasters and analytics as they do google+, docs or other things. Google can cope just fine with it.

As tom says you can now add users within g+ brand pages and GWT, this is a good way to say these are all connected - you've also been able to do this for a while with analytics.

i've had that once before, if you archive the campaign and then re-activate it - it fixed mine though not sure it fixes everything

would be neat feature to force it to crawl though... in the mean time in research tools go to seo web crawler you can set one off in there - It doesn't appear to feed into a campaign but it will give you the same results even if in excel format

what url are you testing to get an A? and I assume this is using the SEOMoz tool for on page optimisation?

There could be many many reasons you don't rank above your competitor, from links to age, to authority and even quality of content. among other reasons....

only you can really test the position out, for different ads the conversion rate will change as for keywords i think.

You'd be best to check every 24 hours i would think rather than wait a few days - especially if you are paying more.

1200 is a small amount of 22000 of which 5300 were indexed. its possible that your new 1200 sitemap has links to almost anything but those which are already indexed. As chris has said a sitemap is a suggestion, on big sites google tends to do what it wants to get the data it need.

44 relates to the number of pages with the same urls as in your sitemap - it is not everything that is index. Your old site is still indexed and being found, as Google visits those pages and gets redirected to a new page it is likely that number will increase (from 44) and the number of old indexed will decrease.

Google doesn't index sites on a one-off go around because then if may take say 4 months to come back and index again and if you've a new important page that gets lots of links and you don't get indexed and ranked for it because you've not been visited you wouldn't be happy. Also if this was done on every site it would take forever and take much more resources than even google has. it is annoying but you've just got to grin and bear it - at least you old site is still ranking and being found.
