Unfortunately, Rome wasn't built in a day... That's why Google invented AdWords. It all depends on your marketing budget, but good quality links, good on site SEO and generate as much traffic as you can. There is no quick fix.. Crunch the numbers, but once you get a small base of players - recommend a friend to receive 'x' dollars of chips always works well... Don't ignore FB likes (social media) too, again receive 'x' dollars if you like us on Facebook.. Large amounts of traffic is very important with casino's/betting site.

Just because you buddy did not get caught speeding does not mean you won't. Duplicate content doesn't help anyone. Neither does forum signatures. My question would be how many links did you gain in what about of time? 100+ in one week/month/year? Did you add links slowly or just gain them all in one week? If you just put up a site & all the sudden have hundreds of links to it... you might have been busted for unnatural linking...

Guest Posts should be unique content, so you may not get a huge response if you're site will provide little value to the writer of the content.  That being said, I agree with Anthony that the benefits are there for you.  If you get a really great writer that creates a viral piece of content, it will be associated with your site, and you'll get all the links for it.

Text links pass far more link juice than image links. Having said that, remember you want a 'natural' linking profile - so don't be afraid to add a few image links here and there (just make the majority of them text based).

Hi Samuel, in short, Google Analytics is accurate enough, and here are a few suggestions to address your discrepancy concerns: 1.  The number of visitors you mention is not large enough to make conclusions about the accuracy of this or that tracking system. 2. Google Analytics might not track  visitors if they don't have java script set or if they block Google Analytics. As a result, Google Analytics reports on a fewer number of visitors. 3.  Your affiliate stats, on the contrary, might track not only java script but also robots that index your website. As a result, your affiliate stats reports on a larger number of visitors. Happy ranking!

If I was looking at any project where 100% of the business came from search my priority would be to correct that rather than looking at the mix of where that search traffic comes from.

It really depends on how you approach the advertising on the forum/community. If you do it in a positive way - by having helpful/relevant/subtle/non-intrusive ads, it could be a great strategy in the long run. If you simply throw in some keywordy text links, the user experience is degraded and you also risk being 'reported' by competitors (who would be looking at your 'new' links; if niche is competitive). It could be an affective strategy as long as you are very careful on how you carry this out - right from the initial strategy (where you host) to ads and link implementation (how you monetize)

Hi Samuel, First of all I want to tell you that 404 Error page is about the  "Page not found" i.e error page is  displayed whenever we tried to access a page  & that page  was not in the website. Your homepage is probably less relevant than this interior page. Using your homepage is a short-term strategy. Using the interior page is a longer-term strategy but probably better if your site will have many keyword topics. I would do on-page optimization for the homepage.  And put full effort into the interior. That is generic advice.

If those pages listed in the footer are really important then I would feature them on the homepage with a nice juicy image and enthusiastic description. Nobody looks at links in the footer.  If these pages merit attention then give it to them properly.

Samuel theres no limit to how many keywords you can optimize one page for, but it becomes increasingly more difficult as you only have so much space in your Title and Description. I wouldn't say it's "best practice" to optimize one keyword per page, it's just easier from an on site perspective. However, it's often not easier from an off site (linking) perspective, . I'd suggest that you start optimizing the keyword on your home page and then, if the keyword warrants it, work harder to get the secondary page going.

Some times Google does a shift in rank, a poor site can come up in the ranks and then instantly go back down. If the same site is still their in a week re investigate.

If you have a link on your page, and it's not to a shady website, best practice is to leave it normal.  As Mr. Hussaini said, "Adding Nofollow couple of years ago could have saved your SEO juice and passed on to other dofollow pages, but as of now, that nofollow goes into a blackhole".

Hi Samuel, Once in rare while there's a rare miscommunication between the SEOmoz crawler, rogerbot, and your webserver. This usually happens when roger crawls a bit too fast than your site can handle, and so your site serves up what are essentially empty pages. Roger reads these pages as blank, and records no title tag, meta description or links on the page. If the title tag is already there, then it's nothing to worry about. One way to address this in the future is to use a crawl-delay directive in your robots.txt file, which will slow roger down. To do this, place the following lines in your robots.txt file: User-agent: rogerbot Crawl-delay: 5 This will make roger wait at least 5 seconds before crawling each page. Hope this helps. Samuel, We have found other avenues to build links that are time better spent. We do not do reciprocal linking at all and get great results for our clients. Spend your time on other things like link baiting. The quality of your links will be better and you will eventually overtake your competitor.

Hi Samuel, Just copy what seoMoz is doing with their blogs :). Take a look at the placement of social buttons on their blog posts and track them on various social network in order to see how they promote blog posts. Also there are lots of posts and videos related to social networks on this site, so give search button some love. As for being worried about people stealing your content, don't be. Produce quality content, share it and interact with your visitors. If somebody happens to steal your content, be cool to them, kindly ask for back-link and offer a guest post. Make friends not enemies, after all if they are stealing your content, it must be really good. Kind regards Bojan

It can depend on your server, but usually this is normal (at least by design). When you make URL/structure changes in WP, it automatically creates 301 redirects. So if you change the permalink, or category info for a page, it should update all "old" links to redirect to the new way. Keep in mind that this is by design, and not always the most accurate. I've had a few clients with weird permissions and it didn't work. Keep watch over your GWT for 404s. GWT can take some time to update. When you're looking at the errors, check the date of the last time Google noticed the problem. Check them manually. If everything appear to be fine then you're likely good to go. Check in a week or so, and if things are still amiss, then something went wrong.
