RE: Should extra content be added to item page or resource center?
I agree with Lumina. Just wanted to add a few points:
If you are looking for short term SEO gains you are probably tempted to add the videos to the product pages themselves. Thinking long term, your potential to generate backlinks will be a lot higher by building a strong resource center that people want to link to and share. This approach would in turn boost your domain authority, which would trickle down to your product pages.
Also, sometimes it makes sense to keep product pages on the lighter side content-wise. Adding too much to the page could potentially reduce conversion rates. This is something that I would consider testing.
I hope your team can make a confident decision on this conundrum!

RE: How best to deal with internal duplicate content
Hi Carl,
If you have absolutely no way of adding a canonical tag or meta noindex tag to the individual pages then I believe, for now, disallowing the indexing of pages using robots.txt or the Remove URLs tool in GWT is your best option. You could also 301 redirect the duplicate page if you can edit an .htaccess file, although, this too should only be used as a temporary solution.
Here is some additional info about robots.txt if needed: http://moz.com/learn/seo/robotstxt
Hope that helps!

RE: Title Tag issue
Hi Jarrett,
Max and Robert are both correct. Google sometimes displays different titles based on what they believe is the user's intent. In your case specifically, I think Google is displaying a title tag that makes sense.
Think about it, if someone is using a query that includes your **brand name **they are likely trying to find your website as quickly as possible. By pushing your brand name to the beginning of the title tag it may be easier for the user to recognize that the 1st result is in fact your website.
You can always try different variations of your title tag to see if Google will change it (for example, "Temporary Power Rentals | Trinity Power" or "Temporary Power Rentals by Trinity Power") but in my opinion, because it is a branded search term, Google will probably display your brand name first no matter what.
I personally wouldn't be overly concerned about this specific occurrence.
Hope this clears things up a bit!

RE: How do I search for a link within a competitors website that is linking my website?
Hi Mary,
If you are referring to Google Webmaster Tools, you should be able to find your competitor's website under Search Traffic > Links to Your Site > Who Links the most
When you've located your competitor's website in this list, click on it and it will prompt an overview page that shows you total links and total linked pages. Under Your Pages, select one of your web pages and you'll be able to view all of your competitor's pages that include links to your website. You'll have to locate the link on your competitor's pages but at least this narrows it down for you.
Hope that helps

RE: What is the best way to become a published writer / blogger for bigger industry sites?
An easy was to establish a relationship with the website is to follow them through social channels (specifically Twitter) and engage (if possible) on their website through comments. If you can add value to a blog post with your comments you might begin to be recognized. If you do this in addition to starting your own blog, someone might click on your profile and find all the killer content you've been pumping out!
If you are considering starting a blog this post below is a great resource:

Moz Analytics - Barely working, zero quality control
Two major issues with Moz Analytics - we've reached out to the help team on this multiple times and I've seen no clear answers from their team. Anyone hear anything on this or find a solution?

Weekly Automatic Reporting: This has been sending between four and six "weekly" reports to my clients. This has impacted over 30 clients. Many of them contain blank or incomplete data. Sometimes, it'll take over 24 hours before a completed report gets sent after the first incomplete one.

Addition of Keywords: The "Add & Manage Keywords" feature has been down for at least 24 hours at this time. Any campaign that I attempt to add keywords to refreshes the page without adding keywords. It appears that the href is set to "" and whatever code that is required to execute the addition of the keywords into the database is not being fired.
