Best way to publish same content on 2 blogs?
I currently have a couple of blogs and I want to put a post on one of them and then copy it onto my other blog, but give the credit and the link back to the original (lose you yet?)
I want to write a blog and publish it on my site (http://goo.gl/WRwR8)
After it's on the blog on my main e-commerce site, i want to copy it onto my wordpress blog (http://goo.gl/0SSti)
What is the best way to accomplish this without creating duplicate content? Is there a way to state on the second wordpress blog that this post originated from the ecommerce site?
I could really use some guidance... Thanks

Best way to find Long Tail Keywords?
Hello,
I'm looking for some help trying to discover some long tail keywords i can use.
Is there a site or a program out there that lets you type in a keyword and then shows you the long tail versions that are actually searched? (anything other than google keyword tool).
Thanks,

RE: If I hired you/your company to do my SEO ...
Irving, the funny thing is that i rank well for most of the individual parts, type any part on my site into google and you'll see that... It's the category pages and subcategories i'm having the issues with....
Mark, every now and then someone says my homepage is a mess and the design is bad... however for every 1 person that says that, i get about 5 that say the opposite and actually tell me they like the layout and it's actually a very well designed site....
In regards to the text at the bottom of the home page, how is that stuffed with keywords? 1) Monster Bins is the brand name, should i not use it on my site, 2) every last piece of text in that box at the bottom of the page is written properly and not just put there to have keywords included, it is all there to explain exactly what we do and who we serve and it's in proper english 3) There are no keywords in that text box that are overused, according to SEOMoz's general rules about keyword stuffing....
any other feedback from anyone?

RE: Winning The New SERP Battle
You are not alone... I could literally write that entire post about my company/site as well... Only difference is I am being outranked by Target and Walmart after i held the #1 position for years.
I know you are looking for advice, and this isn't advice, just want you to know you are not alone in this mess

RE: If I hired you/your company to do my SEO ...
Thanks Irving... I'll have a look into the nofollowing strategy and we'll make adjustments...
Just out of curiosity, if you say my site appears to be doing things properly, why do you think my rankings are not improving, in fact, they either remain steady (on pages 3-5) or decline..

If I hired you/your company to do my SEO ...
If i hired you or your company to do SEO for my site (http://goo.gl/XUH3f) what would be the first steps you'd take?
I'm pretty sure i've covered all of the basics myself, I'm just left trying to figure out what i should do next... rankings have been going up and down for the last few weeks, but even when they're up, they're not high enough
(and then they go back down anyway) ...I know some of you are going to say build links, please at least give me an example of one or two sites you'd try to get to link to mine...
I'm open to any advice or feedback as I'm just a website owner who's been doing their own SEO & learning on the fly...
Thanks a lot!

Am I using my Blog properly? -- Advice Please
Hello...
I am just looking for some feedback in regards to the blog on my website.
I am using the blog to create unique and fresh content, hoping that it will in turn help my site attract visitors and better rankings...
My question is, does each post have to be at least 500 words or is a 300 word post fine? I do put hyperlinks back to the correlating pages on the site inside each of these posts, just wanted some feedback on if everything i write needs to be roughly 500 words.....
Here is my blog if you want to take a look at what I've been doing and provide any feedback..... thanks!

RE: Google Disavow Tool - Waste of Time
We sure disavowed a lot of links... got the same response to our reconsideration request.... truly frustrating as google continues to rank sites that lack relevance, quality and good user experience over my site which provides all of that...

RE: Google Disavow Tool - Waste of Time
we did submit a reconsideration request (many over the past year +) after using the disavow tool that stated that we did use the new tool along with contacting all the webmasters (gave a list in previous reconsideration requests).
My market is competitive but i was on page 1 and i have a truly better and easier site than the multi billion dollar companies (walmart, target, amazon) that don't focus on my products...

Google Disavow Tool - Waste of Time
My humble opinion is that Google's disavow tool.... is a utter waste of your time!
My site, http://goo.gl/pdsHs was penalized over a year ago after the SEO we hired used black hat techniques to increase ranking.
Ironically, while having visibility, Google itself had become a customer. (I guess the site was pretty high quality, trust worthy and user friendly enough for Google employees to purchase from.)
Soon enough the message about detecting unnatural links had shown up on the webmaster tools and as expected, our rankings sank and out of view.
For a year we had contacted webmasters, asking them remove links pointing back to us.
90% didn't respond, the other 10% complied).
Work on our site continued, adding high quality, highly relevant unique content.
Rankings never recovered and neither did our traffic or business…..Earlier this month, we learned about Google’s "link disavow tool" and were excited!
We had hoped that following the cleanup instruction, using the “link disavow tool”, we would get a chance at recovery!
We watched Matt Cutts’ video, read the various forums/blogs/topics online that were written about it, and then we felt comfortable enough to use it...We went through our backlink profile, determining which links were either spammy or seemed a result of black hat practices or the links added by a 3rd party possibly interested in our demise and added them to a .txt file. We submitted the file via the disavow tool and followed with another reconsideration request.
The result came a couple of weeks later… the same cookie cutter email in the WMT suggesting that there are “unnatural links” to the site.
Hope turned to disappointment and frustration. Looks like the big box companies will continue to populate the top 100 results of ANY search, the rest will help Google’s shareholders…
If your site has gotten in the algorithm crosshairs, you have a better chance of recovering by changing your URL than messing around with this useless tool.

Best way to get my Blog traffic
I've recently began blogging on my site. The content is all unique and useful and written properly without keyword stuffing...
My question is, how do i go about getting people to see the blog (getting traffic to it) so that it can get linked to. I've created content that i believe people will naturally link to, the only problem is they're not finding my blog.
Any advice on how to get my blog out into the world?!
thanks

Why are results different on Rank Tracker tool and New Rankings Weekly Reports?
Good Morning...
Every week i get an email from SEO Moz that is showing me where the keywords i am tracking are currently in the SERPS (New Rankings and On-Page Reports)...
Is there a reason that the current rank shown on these emails would be so different than what is shown when i use SEO Moz's rank tracker?
For example, it shows one keyword has a rank of 48 (via email) and a rank of 16 through the rank tracker.
What would cause such a great discrepancy?
Thanks

Should I link my 3 E-Commerce sites?
Good Morning,
I have 3 E-Commerce sites that all sell the same products, but have unique content on them (unique text, unique urls, same products)....
Up until now, I have not put any links from one to any of the others...
I just started to wonder about that since these are all related to the same industry, and are owned by 1 company, what would be the downside to linking them...
Does anyone have any advice on if I should link to each site from the other 2 sites?
Also, if you think I should be linking them, please advise how you would do it (on which pages, how many links, anchor texts, etc...)
Thanks a lot!

Should I use RSS Feeds for SEO Purposes?
Hello...
I am wondering if RSS feeds are good for SEO purposes...
If i have a blog on my e-commerce site that links back into my site, should i then submit my feed to a bunch of RSS feed sites?
Please tell me if i should be submitting my feed to all the RSS Feed Blog directories i can find or if that will appear as though i'm trying to gain links in the wrong way, from Google's perspective.
For example:
http://www.feedlisting.com/ .... just to name a few of the directories i've found
Thanks
