Now I also know that you are not a local service. Therefore i guess it doesn't matter if you Geo target your site or not.

Those issues cleared up, now on to whats left.

You are correct, those extra pages will not do you any good, only hurt you in the end.

Also correct about linking to other pages like iphone related blogs and news sites.

You have a tricky site to to target the keywords you are looking for, it is a little beyond my scope at the moment as i most deal with local business'. that being said i would still advise creating articles and blog posts and even trying to guest post about your service. I would also advise improving your content. More specifically the layout. I see a lot of sentences. Maybe combine some or add to some. If you are trying to reach the australia optus market start looking for blogs and sites related to iphone optus an "get involved" with the suggestions i mentioned above.

If you know which location they purchased from them send them a link to that locations business listing on google or a social site. It doesn't really matter actually. maybe for a little while try getting reviews for one type of listing then get reviews for another. spread out the reviews if you want, in doing this you will reach a larger audience as not everyone will see one specific place for reviews, unless that is what you want which then you are at the mercy of people actually navigating to your review source.

Your review efforts should be natural. for example if some one makes a purchase online then in a conformation email ask the buyer for a review of their experience and point that link to where ever you want.

if you happen to have any emails with something like that in it, click on the link and see where other companies are putting reviews.

oh and if you are still concerned about it adding them or not and dont want to risk anything. there is one trick that will serve only for branding.

add the use the proper containing words such as "site designed by" then add the name ad your company and make it a link to your site.

Here's the trick...

add a no follow to the txt file for your link.

That way your link to your site is still there but so people can use it if they want but there is no penalty for it being there it also wont affect your page rank.

As far as the footer links go, I believe google has stated that the have devalued them because of the issues with out niche links like web designers and seo and such. That being said it i haven't seen and problems with them so long as you use them with proper containing words e.g."website designed by..." Google bots are smart enough to understand that.

I would agree that there are plenty of people using the footer links in ways that just get them penalized. It does more for branding than it does for adding value to clients. besides most people aren't looking at the footer links anyway unless they are looking for the designer or something like that or just happen to scroll to the bottom.

I personally use it for branding purposes mainly. I think Google will work this issue out in time.

What cesar is trying to say and i would agree is this.....If the content is relevant to everyone then don't create three pages with the same content as this is "duplicate content"

If you are targeting different countries that don't speak English then simply use "ccTLD". Other wise it doesn't really matter where your site is. You can also geo target your site in webmaster tools and it will show your page in you area and country more, yet it is still not limited to that.

Lastly your content doesn't seem to have a need to include keywords like "australia" or "city name"  other than to say where you are from which can be done in the footer. Including those keywords come in big for local services or restaurants or things of that nature.

If the content is general then I advise you to do these things:

• Geo target your site in webmaster tools
• Add you location to your footer (as detailed as you want to get)
• Link to other relevant sites in your country or city
• And Let google bing an yahoo do the rest.
• Oh and delete the extra pages!

If it is a local service (i just now looked at your site!) do this:

• Again Delete the extra pages
• Geo target your site is webmaster tools
• Link to relevant sites
• and include location based keywords to content
• Again let the search engines do the rest

Otherwise you are simply creating  dup content and making things much harder on yourself. It really is that simply. Once you get started with that and fix the duplicate content issues moz web app will show you other areas to improve if you have any.

That is a very good question. I hadn't really thought about that. I have links in the footer of client sites. I did see somewhere that i was getting something like 20 or more link from one site, but I knew that the only link to my site was in the footer.

That being said, so far I haven't seen any problem with it. Maybe somehow the search engines know that it is a footer link and automatically counts it as one even though it shows up on every page. They seem to be smart like that sometimes.

Even so, I don't believe that having multiple links from one domain is a bad thing. For example if i posted several blog posts on seomoz and it linked back to my site, I wouldn't get hurt for it or anything. Therefore I believe it is safe to say that a footer link that is NOT directed to an internal link like you said is okay. I also haven't read anything to suggest otherwise.

Hope this helps. Maybe run a test with a site or two and see what happens. If something happens then just simply change it back. Maybe it will actually improve thing for you. Worth a shot at least.

Oh. I misunderstood the question. I believe you are saying that your clients are the sellers on google, and that you want to get reviews for them?

If that is correct, then the only course of action you can take is to either ask for them(which would take awhile if you have thousands of clients) or show them how to ask for reviews via one mass email blast or something.

If this is not what you mean then please give an example as it is not clear what you are asking.

If it is, then great! Still to my knoweldge the only way a seller can get reviews is either it just happens or they ask. Unless they use spammy tactics.

Well after reading some other Q&A posts I made the discovery that the disavow tool doesn't permanently remove the link.

Others have suggested going through the effort or physically removing the link.

Simply ask the buyers, email them if you have contact info or reach out on social sites for reviews and point them to your were they can leave one.

That's all i got, I'm not a seller. But having been a buyer these are thing I've seen. like getting an email after a purchase asking me to review my buying experience or product.

While moving content would probably solve your problem, a cheaper option would be to use the "disavow links" tools from Google. This is to be used if you know what links are causing the problem. I have not had to deal with this problem yet myself but from my reading i believe this may solve your problem as well as prevent you from any potential problem from creating a new url, the hassle of re-branding that url and just having to figure out a good new one!

Just simply Google "disavow tool" and it should be the first result. It will take you to your webmaster tools page but i'm not sure how to find it without doing a search.

Phil is absolutely right, its is just a waiting game. It kind of such but it serves a purpose as well. Just keep checking back every day or so, eventually you new sitemap will start to be indexed and old pages will be removed automatically.

Well i am testing a couple things.

1. i change a link on my site to an existing page.

2. i deleted a "coming soon plugin that in not using.

3. i deleted an older sitemap i found in my ftp file manager.

If none of this works then i have no idea what the problem is and will have to start eliminating plugins i guess.

but i already knew what it was.

I have a button on my home page that currently didnt have anywhere to go so i linked it back to my homepage. not sure if that was the problem but i have change it to link to an existing page and will see what happens.

I have looked everywhere.

I thought it might have just showed up while making some changes, so while in webmaster tools i said it was fixed.....It's still there. Even moz pro found it.

I don't see how this can hurt. Since citations are just simply mentions, and you can't really insert your self into other pages (unless your a hacker).

In fact I think it could help in a small way.

Just make sure that it not a listing, not that listings are bad or anything. Just know the difference. If it a listing on a site like Yelp or yellow pages or something like that the create an account and claim that listing.A great tool for this is (recently purchased by SEOMOZ), getlisted.org

Have you tried creating a Groupon offer or a google offer. I get notices on my phone about everyday from google offers.
