Hopefully they specified where they spend their time on? Because as you mention it, it looks like your client was overcharged. However maybe the pulled in some extra improvements which could be really worth the money.

RE: Google Analytics setup tips and tricks?
Hi Cole,
Curious how you change the GA script to not add people to the bounces 'segment'. Why not chose to use event tracking on these interactions on the page so they won't be counted as a bounce?

RE: Advanced popup for WP website
OptinMonster is quite good at this, if you're wanting to do this for mobile as well then try BananaSplash.com

RE: Identical pages with different URL's
The canonical tags are the only thing that is really important. Next to that I'm not to sure if you should do nofollows.

RE: Schema description wordcount guidelines ?
Hi Dan, there is no word count guideline for this at all. They're not using the event descriptions itself I think in the rich snippets but only the name of the event. You have to tell them though about the description because otherwise it's not a valid implementation but there is no certain limit.

RE: Breadcrumbs show for some section and dont come for some. What could be the issue
Hi,
Google is doing really weird with showing breadcrumbs lately. I had the same issues a while ago and it took a while before they showed the nice breadcrumbs on the search result pages for our snippets. However a big plus for them is using some form of microdata to help them find the breadcrumbs itself on the page, more information on how to implement this microdata for breadcrumbs could be found over here.
Hope this helps!

RE: Joomla's weblink component, do the links count as backlinks?
Hi Mark,
Yes they do, however the links get redirected by Joomla via a 303. So the link value is not that big like if you should give them a direct link.
Hope this helps!

RE: Why does a word show as 'Google en-US Mobile Friendly' = FALSE when it also shows that it ranks 3 on mobile?
Hi Kristina,
I do know what it means, on mobile search result pages Google might from time to time for webpages that are very fast on mobile add an additional label to the result saying the page is mobile friendly. That label is what Moz is showing you in their reports. More information on the mobile friendly labels can you find here: http://searchengineland.com/google-officially-launches-mobile-friendly-labels-mobile-search-results-208949
Hope this helps!

RE: What's better for SEO an Optimized Image URL vs Optimized Image File Name?
It could be the same, but I wouldn't overdo it and make it /pandas-in-chinese-zoo/pandas-in-chinese-zoo.jpg just to make sure you would stuff some extra keywords in there.

RE: Schema description wordcount guidelines ?
Hi Dan, I could explain a lot of things here but I would recommend to visit and read the content on this page: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/164506?hl=en Google will explain what you need to do to get event snippets.

RE: Nesting <a>tag for rel="nofollow"</a>
That is correct, but you can also assign it also to an AREA tag like mentioned in the W3 documentation here: http://www.w3.org/wiki/HTML/Elements/area

RE: Rotating Anchor Text
Still don't really get how this would work as Google also just will see 1 link every time but they tell you that it's targeting more pages. I would never use such services as most of them already have been banned by Google in the last years and they will remain to do so.

RE: DA AND PA estimation based on Backlink or search engine traffic??
It's completely depending on link data to the domain indeed!

Yups, seeing the same thing in our Google Webmaster Tools accounts.

RE: Deleting hidden H6 headers
Hi, you probably would be better off on a web development forum. My guess is that you're using a CMS and the web development community usually knows a bit more on that topic.

RE: Duplicate Content Home Page http Status Code Query
Hi Pete,
Have you set a canonical URL to the 'original homepage? If not, that's what I would recommend to do.

RE: Are these links to my site bad?
Are these sites on the same server/ IP Address/ C block? That's also something you might want to look into. If they are probably Google will be able to tell if it's the same server and so they won't give all the link juice.

RE: Domain Autorithy index release Date?
Don't forget about other crawlers that might have already crawled the links. You could for example check if Majestic or Ahrefs have already picked up on the link. Usually looking at a metric of Domain Authority to hope for an effect in your visits is not the best way to go about your SEO.

RE: My Evernote Notes showing up on Google Search page ?
Yes, like answered above this is for sure a plugin/extension in your browser using your queries to also embed your Evernote notes in there. Nobody else, except you, will see them,

RE: Prestige Kew Gardens Domain SEO
Could you give us some more insight into the links that you've acquired over the last 5 months. How many of them and what is the overall authority of these kind of links? I can't seem to find any links via the data in OSE as they're a bit behind in their data set.
