Just 301 them to the homepage or provide a proper 404 error to make sure you have the right set up for Google on this. I wouldn't be to worried about 2 404 errors.

RE: Advices On Yoast SEO!
Hi Matei,
What is the content of your robots.txt file? By default Yoast SEO should take care of making sure the tag pages aren't indexed. But as you say it could be that you have missed a configuration within the plugin.

RE: Can we discuss Moz's Forecast? It's been over 100 degrees for a month.
I wonder if Dr. Pete is able to share a bit more about where the changes are happening. The fact that a lot of SERPS are continually changing isn't that new. Probably part of some personalization and a lot of refreshments for maybe lower rankings. It would be interesting to know a bit more about the characteristics instead of just seeing that it's 107 degrees today.

RE: Geo targeting option in GWT
Hi,
For now I would leave it unchecked so you're disabling the GEO selection. Do you have the content available in multiple languages as well? If so, you could look into using the HREF Lang tags to make sure your content is ranking in the appropriate language/country.

RE: Welcome Page - Forbes.com
Don't think they have any SEO issues though of this as still all links will point at the right URL from both social as the rest of the web. They seem to do a weird redirect back to the interstitial page and as they still seem to rank pretty well I doubt they see SEO issues on their side.

RE: Block parent folder in robot.txt, but not children
The idea from Andrew is nice, but my guess would be that you're targeting multiple events so that might run into issues. What you could do is add some more regular expression and make it like this:
Disallow: ^/news/events-calendar/usa$

RE: How To Override rel=nofollow tag
Hi Hernant,
You should probably adjust the plugin to make sure you can add exceptions to it. Adding rel="follow" won't change anything to do this as follow is not a valid value for the attribute.

RE: How to deal with auto generated pages on our site that are considered thin content
Hey!
My two cents are, just have them indexed by the search engine and put a canonical tag on it leading to themselves. I would definitely make the case for that these pages are unique enough that they're not seen as duplicates. Your problem is one that many sites have with some kind of dynamic pages. In the end an e-commerce site is barely any different, you have product data but the template remains the same and is totally something that you could optimize for.
So, they're all unique, let them point to themselves and try to improve them even more. Potentially you have a very rich data set here that you can leverage even more for SEO.

RE: Microdata / Rich snippet
Hi,
It's quite easy, within the implementation of your microdata you're using at the moment probably this:
24
As you can see this item property is relating to "votes". If you change it to "count" as in the following example you will probably see your snippets change to reviews instead of votes just like you want it.
24
To make sure you're snippets are working like you want, the Rich Snippet Testing Tool could be a solution to test, and with my advice above you will also see the change for your rich snippets. More information about rich snippets for reviews in general could also be found here.

RE: Googlebot found an extremely high number of URLs on your site:
Hi Ravi,
This message you got from Google is more a warning then an error, that is good to keep in mind. As there is no problem in theory with having a lot of URLs on your site if the quality is high enough. Therefore the first URL shouldn't cause any troubles, as like you mention, it's included in the robots.txt file.
The second URL is a bit less nice but shouldn't also be trouble, as it's making sure that the URL parameters are working. Also there is a canonical URL on all these filter pages to make sure the pages are originally linked back to the category page. It could be worth it to check the URL parameters within Google Webmaster Tools to make sure Google is aware of all the changes in content for different parameters.

RE: My news site not showing in "In the news" list on Google Web Search
So the "In the news" block in the Google Search results are still powered by the normal Google Search data and not necessarily by the Google News data sets. That means you sometimes can let go of all the requirements like the news-sitemaps that are required for this. Usually authority seems to be the biggest issue to get into the block. What do you consider a strong backlink profile at the moment and could you shed some light on the industry that you're in?

RE: What is classed as a reciprocal link?
Probably to some extend it will be classed as a reciprocal link. But it would have been worse if the same page would have linked back to the Web site that is linking to your page. That's what a real reciprocal link would be.

RE: If I have set up my www as a cname, do I still need to add a redirect?
I'd like to confirm that a CNAME is indeed not a redirect and that Steve is absolutely right. You will need to set up a proper 301 redirect to go from one to the other.

RE: 404 Errors - How to get rid of them?
Hi Michal,
It could sound a bit odd, but if there are only three pages marked as 404 error pages don't spend (to much) time on it. Especially if you can't find them yourself then you're users probably also won't find them and so Google won't make this a problem. We had 404 errors ourselves which couldn't be found also but they don't make a difference in my opinion.
A good source of information to find the pages who link to your current 404 pages is in my opinion the Crawl Errors within Google Webmaster Tools. If Google also found the same three pages they will give you the linked from pages.
Hope this helps!

RE: SVG image files causing multiple title tags on page - SEO issue?
Could you share the example here? I doubt it would create any issues as it seems that it's more an issue on the side of most SEO crawlers. A title elemement on an SVG doesn't even get close to being a second title tag

RE: My news site not showing in "In the news" list on Google Web Search
Well I'm pretty sure that the difference ain't in Schema.org as the differences there have nothing to do with the crawlability and the newsworthiness of the content. The first things I would focus on are making sure that Google can find new content as fast as possible and that your crawl-rate goes up. That's really important, and if you're convinced that is fixed then focus more attention on the authority part.
Both ain't easy to fix, but someday you'll get there!

RE: How Does Google Treat Scapper Sites?
If you're in the process of disavowing URLs and you would come across this one I would definitely put them on the list to make sure it won't get you intro trouble later on. However if you're not having any issues I would definitely ignore the URL as I'm pretty sure that it won't do any damage as Google should be perfectly fine to figure out it's a terrible site.

RE: PA Score of 30+ to get Google Features
I agree with Nigel here, there is no correlation whatsoever that is connecting featured snippets to Page Authority in what way. It's a metric setup by Moz (this product/tool) and it could be that many pages on your site aren't even in their index. I would focus on creating the best pages and making it easier for a search engine to understand the content, which you can do through for example structured data markup and verifying that, that data is still correct.

RE: Google webmaster tools
Hi Atul,
I'll have to apologize for this answer, because I'm not quite sure what the answer is to the question. I haven't read a lot upon this recent release of Google because it probably wont affect the industry I operate in. For now I think you would only see results from Google+.
But I think it would be useful for more people if you add this as a separate question. -
RE: Should I include unnecessary pages in the sitemap.xml
That clearly changes my ideas about this ;-). As we're talking about a couple of million pages I wouldn't include them in the sitemaps then and to make sure they're absolutely made sure that it's noindexed.
