I would start off with doing some extensive keyword research to find the best keywords that are you related to your business. Tools you could use for that are Google Adwords Keyword Tool and Keywordtool.io. You really need a splash page, you know that it's really killing your bounce rate if you let users chose on the first entrance of your site? Besides that I wouldn't got for a JS solution to redirect users. Although Google is perfectly able to use JS these days I think a PHP solution is more effective.

For our company/websites we used different methods of submitting our sitemaps, but until now I prefer submitting the XML sitemaps after a couple of weeks/months (it varies with the kind of website). For us this had a couple of reasons, these were the main ones:

• Insights in your ("natural") crawl stats: By waiting a couple of weeks/months with submitting your sitemaps to Google we were able to see the "natural" crawl stats of our websites.
• Analyse the differences: This also applies to the reason I mentioned above. If you wait you are able to see the difference in your crawl stats after submitting your sitemap to Google. You are not definitely sure if this is directly correlated to you submitting your sitemap of course. But at least you could have a look.

But there are sure also reasons for directly submitting a sitemap: you are directly able to segment your urls, so you can see which segments of your website need to be optimized. And the number of pages crawled vs indexed.

I would like to know your own answer to the question. Why do you prefer submitting a XML sitemap right away?

I would go with the Like option, what I noticed doing research for thousands of articles is that the share options for either links or posts on FB are very rarely used by people. So even if people are sharing something on Facebook that must outweigh sometimes dozens or hundreds of like for the same thing. Most of the times it didn't for us and that's why we decided to go with the Like option.

I agree with Samuel on this one, just make sure Google is just not able to find the thank-you pages. I would even add these pages to your robots.txt file to make sure they won't even reach these pages in their crawls.

In Real-time reports, Google Analytics will not always be able to pinpoint the location (and in this case, it could be that the users aren't domestic, but that's hard to guess from just that screenshot). I would go into your Google Analytics account: Audience > Geo and look at the country/region reports in there to see where your traffic is coming from.

I wouldn't block any of these users from your site, in the end, the only thing they could hurt at massive volume is site speed. But I doubt that's an issue for you if you're at 19 visitors in real-time. Overall, there shouldn't be any dangers, and even if this data is not correct, you can always apply an Advanced Segment in Google Analytics to exclude these users if needed.

I would indeed disavow like you are already doing and keep your lists up to date with the data from Google Analytics, Moz, Majestic SEO and the other tools that are available. They'll keep you up to date on new links coming in, mostly GWT is running behind in doing this.

Yes, like Andreas mentions. The Yoast WordPress SEO Plugin can do exactly this. We've been using it this way at TNW for a while.

I think you can, I always would make it two different sitemaps though to also have the data for the specific languages.

I wouldn't trust Google to fix the issues you have on your site as they definitely don't support all major content management systems. As it seems other pages on your site have their page titles fixed hopefully you can give it a try.

I agree with Peter, changing the capitalization of your titles isn't going to have that kind of an influence. The fact that one of the blocks on your site was down is far more likely to have an impact on this as this changed the structure of the page in a greater way. I get your frustration, I think most of us have been there > done that.

Have you made sure that your Bing PPC traffic is using UTM tags, otherwise it will be indeed seen as traffic that is coming from the organic results of Bing.

If you would optimize your video really well in terms of content, description, transcription and point a lot of valuable links to it then most certainly it will start ranking in the search results as well.

Well if you look really honestly at your content would you really say it's the best available content out there on this topic?
