RE: How many keywords per web page?
The links could be down in the footer such as
Location:
- Manchester
- Liverpool
- London
- Bolton
Then having them as their own pages (url example) www.domain.com/manchester-wedding-photograph/
Each as their own targeted landing page for the keywords such as Manchester Wedding Photography. Make the landing pages similar to y our homepage in layout / content and images but all unique so that Google doesn't penalise you.

RE: How many keywords per web page?
Funnily enough I'm from Manchester / Bolton..
What i would do in your case as i see your website currently targets Liverpool on your homepage. I would setup additional landing pages for example:
- Manchester Wedding Photographer
- Preston Wedding Photographer
- Bolton Wedding Photographer
Make these landing pages unique in their content and imagery then start to build some links back to them and your main url from local directories such as yell and thomson local.

RE: ECommerce search results to noindex?
We don't use any eCommerce platform with fully developed in-house. Was more about whether it was good to no-index the search results, which you have answered. I will go about putting this in the robots.txt

RE: How many keywords per web page?
They say target just one keyword but if your page is strong enough then you can rank for several. Your homepage is the strongest in most cases as this is the URL people link back to and the portal to your website. If it is a strong enough landing pages for your main keywords then yes target them on the homepage.

RE: Re-Post: Unanswered - Loss of rankings due to hack. No manual penalty. Please advise.
I think in this case just solder on! You can't really put a time scale on things like this. A friend of mine lost this rankings for massive keywords about 2 months ago due to a duplicated content issue from the development site and he is still not back in the top 50.
I would just keep building quality clean links and hammering my social media. Also push a craw to it through WMT.

RE: JavaScript Issue? Google not indexing a microsite
Found a good article to help get your website indexed fast! If this fails then there is a problem with the website or domain.
(not sure if its against the rule to post a URL as this is the first time)

RE: Rel=Canonical
What CMS/framework is your website running on? Wordpress?

RE: Can pop-ups cause duplicate content issues in product pages?
I would'nt say so, I would think search engine would be smart enough to work this one out.
Also as @Dave-Kley says above do this with javascript then this is inserted after the search engine has read the page.

RE: Should I disavow a particular site (no warnings in WMT)?
I would, be on the safe site.. Always try and get the link manually removed also. Contact the webmaster.
Better to sort the problem at the root as opposed to putting the safety on.

ECommerce search results to noindex?
Hi,
To avoid duplicated content and the possibility of thousands additional pages to an ecommerce website would it be a reasonable solution to have the page as a no-index, would this benefit the site?
Thanks

RE: How to make google index the page title has changed ?
I wouldn't go down the route of asking Google to index them as such.
I would just get the pages you want indexing more noticeable by posting them on your Google + page, twitter, Facebook etc.. Always works for me.
Also try www.pingomatic.com works well.

RE: Does a Slider widget harm my SEO?
They are totaly SEO friendly as they are within the page just off-screen on most sliders which is later brought into view. Its a nice way to fit a lot of information in a small space like play media world

RE: Microformats & Schema.org query
I think if the data is already there (your already showing product sizes) then adding rich snippet tags will not make any difference except notify Google that they are there and can be used in SERPS.
We have just applied this to a few of our websites which are eCommerce, message me if you want to look at how we have used the tags.

RE: Share Your Success Stories!
I would say my success story is hitting page 1 google.co.uk for a big keyword in my industry in less than 4 weeks for a 60% difficulty keyword with a website less than 2 months old

RE: What does this error mean when starting a new campaign
(http://)headlineplus.com and ww.headlineplus.com can be seen as seperate websites, you need to make sure that they are both (in your domain configuration) are pointing to the same place and maybe set-up a 301 redirect for http://headlineplus.com to www.headlineplus.com

RE: Title tags in duplicate pages
If you have the canonical in your page (www.mysite.com/acategory/niceproduct.html) then you dont need to bother making the title unique as google will index the set canonical page as the ruler over the duplicated and use all that information.
-
RE: Whats with the backslash in the url adding as duplicate content?
Yeah you could either do a 301 redirect or just set the canonical tag in your page.

RE: How to pick an SEO pro?
Personally i would check out referances and see how their current clients rate the pro.

RE: Anyone seen any dramatic changes in SERPs 18th Feb?
